If you’re in the market for a sex machine, it’s likely that you’ve come across the brand Hismith. Reviews of the brand are far and wide, and Hismith is fairly affordable compared to other similar machines on the market. “Affordable” is of course relative to ones’ income, but Hismith does sell machines that start at $119 (the Auxfun Basic).
The Hismith Premium 3.0 Pro, the star of this review, goes for $499. It’s around the average price for a Hismith machine, though you’ll see on their site that pricing varies model to model and depending on app-control vs non, attachments/adapters included, and coloration.
I remember my very first time ever seeing a fuck machine. I was at Fairvilla Megastore in Orlando, and they had a huge, hot pink fuck machine upstairs that I was very, very curious about. I couldn’t have been much older than 19 or 20, with no disposable income for such a beast. As I watched the employees power it on and demo the machine for another customer, the desire for a machine was permanently installed into my brain.
It wasn’t until several years later that I tried my first fuck machine. It was a small one, with maybe a maximum of 1.5″ thrust length, but even just that renewed my desire. Finally, when my wife and I moved in together, I had a Hismith sex machine accessible to me anytime I wanted. And woooo boy, did I want!
We still have that machine, but given that it’s several years old and has some signs of wear and tear, I accepted Hismith’s collaboration offer when it came my way.
The Details of Hismith Premium 3.0 Fuck Machine
With adjustable height and angle, Hismith’s Premium 3.0 sex machine is ready to accommodate the needs of many. With a 100W motor, the machine has a maximum thrusting speed of 267 strokes per minute with a stroke length of 1.3-5.03″ / 3.3-12.8cm. The torque is 16.64lbs-in / 1.88N-m. Despite the power, Hismith’s noise level claim of “quiet” is shockingly true. The machine is made from aluminum alloy with stainless steel and ABS plastic. Like many of Hismith’s machines, the 3.0 has a KlicLok connector. It’s available in 6 colors: black, pink, yellow, lilac, red and blue.
The base model for the Hismith Premium 3.0 sex machine starts at $429, which comes with everything needed for the machine and includes a travel carrying bag and a realistic silicone dildo. As you increase the features and/or attachments, the pricing for the machine increases. I was sent the Premium 3.0 Pro which goes for $499.
One of the key differences between the 3.0 and the 3.0 Pro is the available control methods. The Premium 3.0 only has a wired remote control, while the Pro has 3 methods of control: a wired remote control, a battery powered wireless remote control, or app-control via your phone. The wired remote control is limited to only controlling the stroke speed, however once you use the wireless remote control or the app, there are 8 modes of thrusting patterns.
How to Care for a Hismith Sex Machine
Hismith’s directions on maintenance for the fuck machine are located in the FAQ on their site, with a differently detailed version that is clearly written by AI in their blog.
Some general tips:
- Use a dust cover over the machine if you intend to keep it set up between uses. Alternatively, Hismith sells a hard cover that clicks into place over the motor.
- Make sure to properly wash and dry all attachments and adapters after each use.
- After you use the machine, unplug it entirely and use a damp cloth to gently wipe down any surfaces that may have personal lubricant or bodily fluids on them.
- Do not use in or around water.
A well oiled machine shouldn’t make much noise, just a quiet whirring on the lower range of speeds that does get slightly louder as you increase the speeds. Clunking noises are an indicator that the machine needs oiling or that a toy is too heavy or the machine is having too work too hard. You’ll want to grab a high-temp/heat-resistant, wheel bearing, lubricating grease, found at your local bicycle or auto parts shop. You can use WD-40 in a pinch, but you may find that you’ll need to lubricate the rail more frequently than the recommended 3 months. It’s worth it to buy a container of the right stuff and you should be able to find it for about $10 / €10.
To lubricate the rail, first, make sure the machine is not powered on! Using the lubricating grease, soak some onto a paper towel or microfiber cloth. Take the wet cloth and rub it up and down the rod inside the machine. Do not directly spray lubricant onto the machine, as it may flood the machine which is bad. Once thoroughly lubricated, make sure the machine is dry everywhere else before you power the machine back on and any clunking noises should be gone!
How to Use the Hismith Premium 3.0 Sex Machine
After setting up your Hismith sex machine, plug the remote control and power cords into the machine, then plug the power cord into an outlet. After that, you’ll attach the toy, get comfortable, and have fun!
Let’s talk about using the KlicLok System first! KlicLok can take some getting used to, as it’s a bit more complicated than suction cups or vac-u-lock toys.
- To start, you’ll want to identify which type of toy you plan on using and select the appropriate adaptor.
- Wash and dry your toy, setting aside while you connect the adaptor to the machine itself
- To use the KlicLok adaptor, you’ll aim the octagon “outie” end towards the “innie” attached to the machine. Slide the outie into the innie until you hear a click.
- The outie should now be securely fastened to the machine and ready for you to add your toy
- When it’s time to remove the toy, slide the sliding cylinder down and release the outie, gently pulling it away.
Once the toy is attached, then it’s time to actually use the machine! Get it adjusted at the angle you want, get comfortable and grab the wired speed dial. Flip the top button to “On.” Once powered on, the machine will not immediately start delivering strokes, instead waiting for you to turn the dial and set the speed. The speed range starts with 0 and goes up to 100, with a dial to turn as the small screen above it displays the precise speed. You can turn the dial left or right to decrease or increase speed, or for a quick stop option, simply flip the top button switch to “Off.”
If you want to use the wireless remote control or the Hismith app, you will need to power on the machine from the wired remote control. Once the button on the wired remote is lit up, you can then switch to either the app or wireless remote control. For the app, you will need Bluetooth, though you can use the app with or without the online connection. If you use it without the online connection, you do not have to create an account! Note that your machine will not work with the app unless you’ve got the app control version of the cord!
Within the app, there are a few methods of control: “drawing” your patterns to manually control the thrust intensity, shaking/moving your phone, a music/noise syncing mode, and the 8 thrusting modes. It is possible to have two methods going at once, for example, one of the 8 thrusting modes PLUS shaking/moving your phone. The shaking/moving phone option will cut off the thrusting if you stop moving your phone though. It’s not a perfect system.
When using the wireless remote control, there are 4 buttons: +, H, -, and an upside down triangle. The +/- buttons increase and decrease speeds, the H will cease strokes entirely, and the upside down triangle will switch between strokes and modes. On the wired remote, on the tiny screen, you’ll see a blue “S” light up if you’re controlling the stroke intensity and M if you’re controlling the modes. To cycle between the modes, a quick press the triangle button will go to the next mode.
My Must-Have Hismith Attachments
If you are thinking of getting a Hismith fuck machine, I highly recommend adding these attachments to your order. All of these are attachments that my wife purchased when she originally bought her Hismith machine several years ago that we now use with the new machine.
- Extension Rod: it will give you extra length so you don’t have the machine all up in your business when using it. This is really helpful if you’re using the sex machine as one part of a double penetration situation with a partner. Take it from a pro, your partner does not want one of the legs poking at them while they’re trying to thrust.
- Spring Attachment: Spring attachments do cause heavier dildos to droop more, however, they help users find more comfortable and easier positions. This may make the dildo look more floppy on the machine, but the extra movement is worth the subtle body repositioning, like going from soles of feet flat on the ground to feet up in the air.
- Vac-u-Lock Adapter: Hismith offers four KlicLok versions, one with springs, one without springs, a double-headed one, and one with a built in extension rod. The springs add a bit of bounce and extra movement that the non-spring version does not have. I only have the version with the springs, and even though the vac-u-lock adapter does add some stability, the spring does mean more flopping around. You may be thinking vac-u-lock is a niche attachment type, and you might be right if you’re thinking mainstream, mass-produced dildos, but a lot of indie toy companies offer them!
- Suction Cup Adapter: Hismith sells several different suction cup plates, ranging in sizes and with two material options available, aluminum alloy and stainless steel. I’ve got 3.5″ stainless steel suction cup adaptor that fits many of my toys. A lot of mainstream, mass-produced sex toys have suction cup bases, so it’s quite easy to find a variety of options. Indie toy companies don’t always offer them, since they have higher fail rates, however there are a lot of double-sided suction cups that allow you to use any toy with the Hismith suction cup adapters!
There are a few other products that I have not tried, but are on my wishlist:
- Magic Wand Clamp Adapter or Hismith Clamp: this is more for my wife than for me since she’s the wand lover of the house.
- Anti-Skid Rubber Caps: I have laminate wood floors and the machine is not heavy enough to hold still without weight behind it, holding it in place. I don’t know if these would help, but they’re at least supposed to
- Hismith Suction Cup Adapter for Non-Suction Dildos: it has rubber bands on it to help keep a dildo in place! What else can I say?
- Lube Launcher 2.0: Imagine the possibilities…
My Experiences with the Hismith Premium Fuck Machine
Hismith’s fuck machines aren’t new to me. In fact, my wife purchased one in 2019 or 2020, long before this collaboration opportunity appeared in my inbox. The old machine has served both my wife and I quite well, though my wife has definitely needed to do some oiling and adjusting of parts to keep the fuck machine running smoothly and quietly. I didn’t really need a new machine, since the old one is running so well, but having a new one means that I’m able to give the old one to a performer friend who doesn’t have one!
Browsing Hismith’s site while trying to decide which machine to select, they have some basic though helpful information about how to pick a machine, including a side-by-side comparison chart. The chart is located on the machines page, below all of the product listings. I didn’t really think my decision as thoroughly as I should have, though, or I would have asked for a machine with a higher weight capacity for use with heavier dildos. I asked for the Premium 3.0 or 4.0 and the Hismith Lube Launcher 2.0, though they ended up only sending me the machine itself without the launcher.
Unboxing and putting the machine was a fun challenge that I recorded and posted on my Youtube. I did refer to the manual a couple of times while putting it together, which was easy to follow. I was able to put the machine together on my own, and only overtightened one screw. It took me about 11 minutes to assemble, including removing plastic packaging. After the manual’s instructions for how to assemble the machine, there’s a mystery box that doesn’t explain what the information is that it’s giving you. That information, nestled between the Assembly and Other Possible Positions sections of the manual, is how to adjust the stroke length.
The machine does come with a realistic dildo, which I wasn’t particularly interested in. It passed my tests for material safety (flame, smell and material compatibility tests), but it just wasn’t a shape, size or firmness that was appealing to me. I’d guess the firmness is around 10A, as there is some squish to it. I don’t like dildos equipped for KlicLok systems because the attachment port will 100% start delaminating and render the dildo no longer usable on the machine. As you can see in the image, even the completely unused dildo is already having issues with the attachment inside it. I do not buy KlicLok dildos because of the short lifespan caused by the delamination. I’d rather get vac-u-lock or suction cup dildos to use with the KlicLok adapters.
When I started testing the Hismith Premium 3.0 sex machine, it was pretty easy to see how similar it is to the older Hismith that we’ve got. Unfortunately, I’m not entirely sure which model the old machine is, but it seems almost identical to the 3.0. The 3.0 has an updated, wired remote control that has a numberless dial, while the old machine has a dial that goes 0-10. The new wired remote control has a small display screen that goes 0-100 for a more pinpointed level of control. The connectors between the cords and the machines are also updated, thankfully.
I’m a big fan of the 0-100 range of thrusting intensity. I appreciate the subtle changes in speed, though adjusting the dial just one or two up or down isn’t that noticeable, but it is there. Speed increases in increments of 5 is the point where I felt the differences in speed. I used a pretty wide range of intensities, just depending on the toy I was using and what my body wanted in the moment, though I typically stayed below 60.
Most of my use with the Premium 3.0 Pro sex machine is just using the variations of stroke intensity. I did, however try the thrusting modes too. I’m not a fan of control apps during my pleasure, so I used the wireless remote control. I’m sure it would be fun with someone else controlling the machine via my phone, but it turns out that none of my partners are particularly keen on using app-controlled devices either. Wireless remote it is!
Though the app is not something I engaged with during my pleasure, whether solo or otherwise, I did mess around with it a bit. I thought it was cool that I could have 2 control modes running at once… only until I realized that if I had the phone haptics turned on and one of the thrusting modes going, if I stopped moving my phone, the thrusting would cease entirely. In my head, the haptics movement would somehow adjust the thrusting modes, but I’m not sure if that’s even realistic.
Of the 8 patterns of strokes, I didn’t love any of them. I’m not typically a fan of patterns with vibrators, but surely thrusting is different! For my pleasure preferences, the thrusting modes just didn’t quite get it right. Each of them involved high intensity speeds down to either a full stop or damn near close to a stop, and it was just too wide of a range of changes for me. None of them felt like realistic patterns. If I were to suggest changes to the existing patterns, I’d have the stroke patterns never reach belong 10 on the speed scale. As is, all of the patterns return to the baseline as part of the pattern, and they just did not work for my body.
I noticed that the stroke length made a big difference for me when it came to speed preference, though the dildo also factored into the equation. With shorter stroke lengths, I was able to take faster speeds, and with longer stroke lengths, I preferred more low-to-mid range of speeds. I tried a pretty wide range of dildos with the machine, including Draconis, all of the Solina Toys realistic dildos, Elwyn, Sparrow, Diedrich… I’d love to say I tried every vac-u-lock or suction cup dildo in my collection, but I didn’t quite make it that far! I did notice that I needed to apply lubricant more often when I was using heavier textured dildos, like the Maxima XXL, at high speeds. If I wasn’t careful, the drag of the silicone combined with the textures of the dildos just started to feel uncomfortable.
Adjusting the machine’s height and angle is fairly easy, but remember that overtightened screw I mentioned? Well, that overtightened screw turned out to be a fairly important one for easily adjusting the back leg height. Oops! I’m able to adjust it, but I tightened the screw so much that I cannot turn the handle as easily. Let’s just say that the back leg is very secure wherever I am able to position it.
Changing the position of the machine during use, however, is kind of a pain in the ass. It requires that I stop, get up, reposition the angle or height, then get back down again and restart. It’s not always that easy, either. Sometimes I have to repeat a few steps to find the right angle and height too. Since I’m not able to change it easily while using it, I never change positions unless I’m filming a solo scene using the machine. For me, it’s too much of an inconvenience and I’m not really a big position changer mid-session off-camera anyway.
Thankfully, it’s only major position changes, like going from missionary to doggystyle, when I have to adjust the machine. I prefer to use the spring adapter so that I can make smaller changes so my position as desired. Going from legs bent at the knee with my feet down on the bed to feet up in the air just changes my angle slightly. The spring adapter serves to make that minor transition more comfortable by allowing the dildo to move with your body. Without the spring adapter, I’ve noticed that a slight change in position can sometimes result in an uncomfortable thrust or two before I’m able to correct.
I used the Hismith machine one night with my boyfriend during DP, using a dildo attached to the machine vaginally while he was penetrating me anally. Since my BF isn’t a tall guy, I had the forethought to attach the extender rod before we got started. The extender rod adds enough length that he was able to comfortably stand behind me without the leg poking him. If you’re planning to use the machine similarly, the accessory is absolutely worth getting.
My apartment has laminate wood floors, and only came furnished with one large rug in the living room. My main areas of use don’t have large nor heavy enough rugs to place the machine on during use, as any friction will then start pushing the machine away from me. The same thing happens on my bare floors. Hismith does have different rubber ends for the machine, but I haven’t tried them so I don’t know how well they work. Until that changes, I’m usually putting the machine on the bed or couch with me, or trying to find something heavy enough to prevent it from sliding back, like a photography sandbag or free-weights.
The legs of the machine also have tendency to shift along the feet during use, which can cause the machine to tip over if you’re on a squishy bed and not paying attention. In putting the machine together, I tried to tighten them as best as I could, but there is a lot more movement with them than I think is ideal. My wife tried tightening them further and said that pushing them any further would overwork the screw and cause damage.
The times that I noticed the Hismith sex machine struggling the most were all with heavier, larger dildos. Hismith says that the load capacity for the Premium 3.0 machine is 5lbs / 2.3kg, but I watched the machine struggle with toys that weighed less. The motor seemed to do fine, but it was the KlicLok adapters that had issues. In testing the machine’s limits, I decided to try attaching toys to it just to see how they handled even though I wasn’t using the toy or the machine on myself. As I tested the vac-u-lock adapter with Bruce by RealDoll, the KlicLok system straight up failed once I hit the 70 marker on the dial control. Prior to powering on the machine, I checked to make sure I couldn’t manually pull the KlicLok adapter off the machine and felt confident and comfortable to power it on.
Bruce is the heaviest dildo in my collection, followed closely by a size large Dildos and Dragons. Neither gets a lot of use in my house lately, so the Hismith machine not being able to properly handle those sizes isn’t a big loss for my wife and I. If you are a large toy user, you may wish for a heavier load capacity than what the Hismith Premium 3.0 and 4.0 can handle.
Another notable issue that I found was less about the machine itself, but still important to share: double sided suction cups may struggle at higher speeds. I found that cups that were closest in size to the suction cup plate worked best, as they had no movement capabilities. However, smaller cups that could move, did, and that movement occasionally caused the dildo that was stuck to them to go flying off. This happened less frequently with dildos with built in suction cups, but sometimes those also hit a speed where the suction cup shifted on the plate and broke the seal.
I believe that it is noteworthy to share that the products I requested and received confirmation I would get, the lilac machine and the lube launcher, were not the products I received. I was also asked to publish this review in a timeframe that made me feel rushed to review it, however I am publishing this post one week after my original planned posting date.
Pros:

- machine may shift during use, depending on the surface the machine is on
- hard to adjust the height/angle during use
- 8 thrusting modes have a lot of potential for overstimulation while also leaving a lot to be desired [by me]
- user manual could use updating for better clarity
- KlicLok disengaged at speed 70 with a heavy dildo attached (Bruce by RealDoll)
My Final Thoughts on the Hismith Premium 3.0 Pro Sex Machine
The Hismith Premium 3.0 Pro fuck machine itself works as promised and definitely delivers. It’s quiet, something that can’t be said for the other fuck machine in my life, meaning it can be discreetly used behind closed doors without worry. It’s powerful enough to handle most of Cassie’s and my regularly used big dildos, but those using Mr Hankey’s Toys large size or greater may wish for a different machine. I’m glad that I already have a number of adapters for the machine, and I’d encourage those considering a Hismith to make sure you get a suction cup adapter at the very least since KlicLok isn’t nearly as widely used by sex toy manufacturers.
Because of the wide range of stroke speeds, the Hismith Premium 3.0 is an acceptable machine for any experience level. I recommend always starting slow with stroke speed, even with dildos you’ve used before. The Hismith fuck machines provide a different intensity of stroke than manual dildo thrusting, and even your favorite dildos may feel too intense with 100W of power behind them.
