Rising from the depths below, Creature Cock by Monster Cocks is perhaps a familiar design to fantasy dildo lovers. Years ago, when XR-Brands first launched their Creature Cocks line, one of the first designs they copied was Creature Cock. Unlike XR-Brands’ version though, Monster Cocks is a small company that hand-pours and hand-paints all of their designs. The original Creature Cock is a work of art unlike any knock-off you’ll find in the XR-Brands collection!
Frankly, I’m surprised at myself for having never written this review. When I first teamed up with Monster Cocks, they were still under the umbrella company Abyss Creations, along with RealDoll. Since then, Monster Cocks has moved away from Abyss Creations, took a bit of a hiatus from production, but recently reopened their internet doors for orders again.
Meet The Makers
Born from lifelong passions of horror and special effects, Monster Cocks was founded in 2017 when Michael Wilson wanted to make something that didn’t really exist at the time. A majority of the fantasy sex toys on the market at the time were based on fantasy or mythical creatures, and he wanted to capture the feeling of classic horror and sci-fi monsters since that’s what drew him into special effects in the first place. Michael isn’t the only person behind Monster Cocks anymore, now working along his business partner and co-owner, Kyle Anderson. When I first collaborated with Monster Cocks, they were under the RealDoll umbrella that gave them the support of a 30+ person team, however they stepped out from under the RealDoll/Abyss Creations umbrella, and now the two person team handles everything within the indie toy company.

With the desire to blur the line between collectible creature are and fantasy sex toy, Michael and Kyle start every new design as a hand sculpture in clay. They aren’t just trying to make something that looks cool, they’re spending time considering how a creature’s anatomy would look like if the creature actually existed. Or, in the case of their newest launch, Screamer, they ask themselves “how can we capture the feeling and personality of the character,” which brought upon a really unique depiction of Ghostface.
Speaking of unique, Monster Cocks uses a different pouring process than what is typical, doing multiple casts that build up layers and creates more complex transitions to achieve effects that are more challenging to get from a single pour. That’s not even all of what sets them apart from other indie shops! After years of trial and error, they developed a unique coloration process that involves hand-painting and/or airbrushing, depending on the model. They want each piece to look a little different so they don’t want to stick to just one style or technique, and looking through their catalog, it shows!
Their special approach to designing, pouring and coloring even caught the attention of a notorious copycat brand. The star of my review today, Creature Cock, was ripped off by XR Brands, who copied the design and started mass-producing a far lower-quality version of the fantasy dildo. The knock-off is missing the attention to detailing, the hand-painting, and the care that goes into each piece that Michael and Kyle make in the Monster Cocks shop.
The knock-off of Creature Cock isn’t the only attention Monster Cocks has received though. Fans of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula may remember seeing Landon Cider using Monster Cocks’ Severed Finger Nipple Clamps in season 3! Michael shared that seeing one of their creations on a show that celebrates horror, artistry, and drag was an incredibly rewarding experience. As a fan of Dragula myself, I can only imagine the excitement Michael and Kyle must feel.

The two artists are working on a new design that they’re hoping to launch in 2026, but they’re facing a fantastic problem for any artist: business has picked up far more than they expected after the re-launch of the Monster Cocks brand. Between custom commissions in which they work with clients to bring “weirdest ideas and sexiest nightmares to life,” and business as usual, the two artists are trying to find time for new product development.
We’ll have to do our best to stay patient as we wait for the new design, so, in the meantime, allow me to get to the good stuff.
About Creature Cock by Monster Cocks
Texture lovers, get ready, because this one is for you! With a slim design, Creature Cock by Monster Cocks is a heavily textured fantasy dildo with both high profile and low profile texture. The backstory of Creature Cock is a creature that has transformed from toxic waste and fish genitals, and is now ready to spread its seed even further. This monster dildo has scales, horizontal ridges, semi-transparent testicles, and a tapered tip for easy insertion. The base of the dildo is flared enough for both anal and strap-on use.

Unlike most of the indie toy companies I review, Monster Cocks doesn’t have any customizations readily available. They stick to one firmness, one one size, and one coloration, though you may be able to get a customization of the dildo, just be prepared to pay a pretty penny. Monster Cocks does only offer one firmness, which I would guess is around 00-50 as the dildo has a lot of flexibility and a decent amount of squish. Creature Cock’s dimensions are:
- Total length: 8″ / 20.32cm
- Insertable length: 6.25″ / 15.88cm
- Diameter: 1.5″ / 3.81cm
- Circumference: 5.12″ / 13cm
- O-ring size: 2″ / 5.08cm
Care Instructions for Creature Cock
This is not your average fantasy dildo, ya’ll. It’s far from average! The hand-painting is done after de-molding the model, which means it is a bit more delicate than you may be used to. Don’t be rough with the dildo, don’t store it with any other non-platinum cure silicone dildos, don’t bite it or scratch at it, don’t store it against abrasive surfaces. Treat it gently and carefully!

Monster Cocks recommends washing Creature Cock both before and after each use, using warm water and a mild soap or body safe toy cleaner. Dish soap and hand soap are both ok, as long as they’re unscented and do not contain any silicone. If you’re not sure if a soap has silicone in it, just check the ingredients list for anything ending in “-cone” and avoid that soap if you see it listed.
Because of the delicate nature of the toy, if you need to sanitize it, stick to non-heat methods, such as soaking in a diluted bleach mixture for 10 minutes or gently rubbing it with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
My Experiences with Monster Cocks Creature Cock
It’s been long enough for me since I received the Creature Cock from Monster Cocks that I don’t remember the packaging. However, I recently received care packages from Monster Cocks, and their new packaging is very simple. They sent me two pieces, Screamer and Devil Tail Butt Plug, and each piece was shipped individually, carefully wrapped and included stickers and care instructions, plus a handwritten note.
I realized that I’d only ever filmed a review of the fantasy dildo, and well, that had to change. So, I did what any toy tester would do: grabbed my lubricant, got comfortable, and got to work. I wanted to leave as much of my biases aside as possible, so I opted not to rewatch my own review of Creature Cock prior to testing. A lot has changed since then that can have an effect on my experiences: I’m older, I’m medicated differently, my diet is different, I’m more accustomed to highly textured toys, and my stress levels are different.

For me, Creature Cock is such a unique piece of art that it’s more of a showpiece rather than a regularly used piece. In fact, prior to preparing to write this review, the last time this fantasy dildo was used was on Little Puck in a scene her and I filmed together while I was still living in Las Vegas about 2, maybe even 3 years ago. It’s not that I haven’t wanted to use the dildo, it’s that I’m afraid of hurting the dildo! It’s so pretty and I’d feel devastated if it were to get damaged somehow.
After having ruined a dildo by RealDoll, Monster Cocks ex-sister company, I’ve tried to treat the 3 pieces I have from the indie toy company with as much care as possible. Lube was what ultimately caused serious damage to the dildo from RealDoll, so when it came time to test Creature Cock, I paid closer attention to the ingredients list of the lubes and soaps in my house. I found pjur Woman Aloe Water Based Lubricant was a great fit (I don’t love the gendered part of the product name, but that’s another story), and the Satisfyer Premium Toy Cleaner Spray worked well for cleaning up.
Beyond that, I’ve treated Creature Cock like a delicate work of functional art: I don’t shake it around or do much in the way of bending or anything that could stretch the silicone temporarily, I don’t rub it down with any fabrics or paper towels or anything along those lines, I don’t expose it to high heat or direct sunlight, and I don’t use a toothbrush to clean in the crevices. Sure, it’s possible that I’m going a little overboard with treating the piece delicately, but why risk an expensive work of art?

As far as actually using the fantasy dildo, I couldn’t even handle faster or hard penetration with it, which made treating it gently quite easy. There’s a whole lot of horizontal texture on Creature Cock, and the texture is aimed in two different directions for maximum stimulation. On the top of the shaft, the ridges have a sharpness to them that is very noticeable during insertion, since the texture is aimed towards your body. Between the ridges are also hundreds of individually carved out scales, giving additional texture stimulation. On the bottom of the shaft, the ridges don’t have the same level of sharpness, but they are a mid-to-high profile texture. The only smooth part of Creature Cock is the head.
The texture was very stimulating to me, to a point where I needed an internal warm up prior to inserting Creature Cock to avoid instant overstimulation if I wanted any movement with the dildo at all. Even once I had some proper warming up, too much movement with the creature dildo was a lot to handle. Slow and steady thrusting was all I was able to take with Creature Cock, which was fine with me since my goal is to enjoy a toy in whatever way works best for me.
The best way for me to use Creature Cock by Monster Cocks was to cockwarm with the dildo. Whenever I planned to use the monster dildo, I’d either insert a pussy plug for a short period or grab a g-spot vibrator as my warm up. Once I felt sufficiently ready, I’d swap out the plug or vibrator for the fantasy dildo and use a vibrator externally on my anatomy. The base of the dildo is pretty wide and a bit thin, but I was able to use my thighs to help keep it in place. While rocking my hips up and down, I was able to get micro-movement with the fantasy dildo that allowed me to appreciate the texture without inching my way closer to overstimulation.

Since a lot of thrusting took me down the path to overstimulation quickly, I opted to skip testing Creature Cock by having Cassie use it on me, both hand thrusting and in a strap-on. Even with the changes my body has gone through, I’m still incredibly physically sensitive, and I just knew I wouldn’t be able to handle the horizontal texture paired with Cassie’s thrusting. That said, Creature Cock can be used in a strap-on harness, though I would strongly suggest trying it out with hand pumped thrusts first.
I also skipped on using the dildo anally. There’s just a whole lot of texture going on, and though I primarily use a fantasy dildo for anal penetration, there’s a huge difference in the textures that I’m just not quite prepared for. Cassie has not tried the dildo anally either, primarily due to the girth being smaller than what she tends to prefer.
As far as holding the dildo during use, the base is quite wide though not very thick. It’s easy to bend or manipulate the base into a comfortable position to hold, but it also works well with double-sided suction cups if I want to ride the dildo or use a handle on it for easier solo play. I typically just relied on my thighs to hold it in place, but for the sake of this review, I did try both. Double-sided suction cups acted more as a hinge, so I needed to hold the shaft to insert the dildo, but that’s pretty typical.

Pros:
- each piece is hand poured, painted, and airbrushed so each one is unique
- strap-on friendly
- anal safe
- wide base is thin enough to bend and manipulate for comfortable holding
- can be used hands-free for cockwarming
- made with platinum cure silicone
- heavily textured for texture lovers
Cons:
- only one size and one firmness
- needs delicate treatment
- lots of nooks and crannies to clean between
- heavy horizontal texturing is not for every body

Ok, Let’s Talk About the Knock-Off Creature Cock Real Quick
XR-Brands, otherwise known as Extreme Restraints, created the sub-brand Creature Cocks several years ago. The sub-brand is a known copy-cat brand within the indie fantasy sex toy community, and has ripped off designs from numerous small businesses, like Monster Cocks. Design theft is sadly a common thing that indie toy companies face. It’s not just the copycat designs, it’s also the undercutting indie brands on pricing. Sure, it’s cheaper to buy an $85+ knock off than it is to buy a $250 original, and there’s nothing wrong with buying mass-produced sex toys, but it damages those small businesses that they’re ripping off designs from.
XR Brands is a large company, with over 40 sub-brands under their umbrella (I stopped counting at 40, and I wasn’t to the end of the page). This is a Big Brand, and they don’t give the same attention to detail or the same attention to quality that you get with indie toy companies. The silicone they use is mediocre in terms of texture quality and surface feel, and it’s also significantly firmer than what you may find from indie toy companies (Monster Cocks only has one firmness, but other indies tend to offer ~3+ firmness levels).
You get what you pay for… kind of. XR Brands’ Creature Cocks both look and feel generic and mass-produced. $85 isn’t bad for a dildo, especially if you’re buying from an indie toy company! But $85+ for a mass-produced fantasy dildo that just knocks off a higher quality, individually made dildo? Meh. Not worth spending that $85+, in my opinion. You deserver better!

My Final Thoughts on Monster Cocks Creature Cock
Creature Cock was one of the fantasy dildos in my collection that there was never any question about bringing it with me when moving overseas. It’s a gorgeous, functional, statement piece, though I don’t use it as often as some other toys in my collection. But I love looking at it, I love seeing the brushstrokes, I love knowing the craft and care that went into making it. I’m just paranoid to damage it! Monster Cocks truly created a beautiful work of art, and I’m thrilled to have it in my collection!
While I do love having Monster Cocks’ Creature Cock in my collection, I also recognize that this dildo is not for everyone. The texture is a lot to handle, and I would not suggest the dildo for anyone who is sensitive to horizontal textures nor anyone who is not accustomed to taking heavily textured toys.
Ready to get one of your own? Monster Cocks sells on both their own standalone website as well as through SpiceRack. I’m not the biggest fan of SpiceRack, so I suggest purchasing directly through Monster Cocks’ website.

I am not an affiliate for Monster Cocks, however some links in this review may be affiliate links for other companies. I earn a small commission when you make a purchase with my affiliate links, which I use to maintain this blog and invest in more toys to review so I can help you find toys that may work for you.
I was gifted Creature Cock at the beginning of my collaboration with Monster Cocks, and have received additional gifts since then (Screamer and Devil Tail Butt Plug). All thoughts and opinions are my own!
