After my first taste of Dee’s Big Daddies, I was left wanting more. Dakota is fantastic, but there are so many models from the indie sex toy company that I’ve had my eyes on. So, when the opportunity came up to continue working with them, I jumped! Diedrich caught my eye because of the dramatic head and coronal ridge shape and the shape of the shaft. Imagining the large realistic dildo in a shimmery hot pink (Peg Me Pink) had me not-so-patiently waiting for the package to arrive.
I hope you’re ready for Diedrich, because he’s a lot to handle 😉
Meet Big Daddy Diedrich
With a slight curve, a bulbous head and shapely shaft, Dee’s Big Daddies’ Diedrich is a realistic dildo available in 5 sizes. The dildo has realistic vein texture and skin lines, with a wide base that makes the dildo both anal safe and strap-on o-ring compatible. Just below the head of the dildo is a dramatic decrease in girth, with a large swell that only slightly decreases just below the midway point of the shaft, before quickly increasing to the maximum circumference by the base. Made with platinum cure silicone, all of Dee’s Big Daddies dildos are customizable by size, firmness, and color, and some sizes also have an option vac-u-lock port add-on. The indie dildo company is based in Orlando, Florida, and pours everything to order. Most of their designs are realistic, like Diedrich, but they have a few fantasy dildo designs as well.

The main listing for Diedrich only has four of the five size options available, so if you’re looking for the “Wee Daddy” sizes, you’ll look at a separate listing. I selected the size Large Diedrich in the soft 00-50 firmness, which is my preferred firmness for experiencing textures like those on this model. I opted for a single color, Peg Me Pink, with a vac-u-lock port. The size large Big Daddy Diedrich has the following dimensions:
- Total length: 8.25″ / 20.96cm
- Insertable length: 7″ / 17.78cm
- Head circumference: 4.75″ / 12.07cm
- Mid-shaft circumference: 5.875″ / 14.92cm
- Base of shaft circumference: 6″ / 15.24cm
- O-ring size: 2″ / 5.08cm
Care Instructions for Dee’s Big Daddies Diedrich
You know what I love about platinum cure silicone dildos? They’re very easy to clean! Big Daddy Diedrich, and all the dildos from Dee’s Big Daddies actually, are pure silicone so there are a few different cleaning options available. For your regular, day to day clean, all you need is warm water and your preferred toy cleaner or an unscented, antibacterial soap (hand and dish soaps are often perfect). Lather up the shaft with soap before giving it a good rinse and allowing it to dry thorough before storing the dildo. Because silicone is a little sticky feeling, you should always wash your sex toys both before and after each use. You don’t want pet hair, dirt, lint, pollen or anything else going inside of you!
For a deeper clean, you can soak the dildo in a 10% bleach/90% water mixture for up to 10 minutes, or you can boil it in water for 10 minutes, making sure the dildo isn’t resting against the sides or bottom of the pot. If you have a dishwasher with a sanitize setting, that’s another option, just do not use any detergent!

According to Dee’s Big Daddies, water based lubes are the best lubricant option for the longevity of their dildos. They warn not to use silicone based lubricants, as it can damage the surface and finish of cure silicone. This can cause the dildo to become unsafe, and unlike Uncover Creations and Sinnovator, they do not replace toys if damaged by using the wrong lube.
Also make sure that you’re storing your dildos properly! Do not store them against abrasive surfaces, such as wire racks, sharp surfaces, etc. You also need to make sure that your platinum cure silicone dildos are not touching any sex toys or other products made with TPE, jelly, rubber, etc. These materials may permanently damage platinum cure silicone! It is, however, perfectly safe for you to store platinum cure silicone toys with other toys made with platinum cure silicone.
My Experiences with Big Daddy Diedrich
When Diedrich arrived, I was so happy with how the Peg Me Pink looked and the squish level of the soft 00-50 silicone. Dee’s Big Daddies compares the 00-50 silicone to erect penis tissue, which I’d say is pretty accurate. It’s not the same type of squish or “real feel” that you get with a dual density dildo, but it does feel really nice. It’s my favorite firmness, or density, level to get most toys in. It allows me to appreciate the texture and design of a dildo without getting overwhelmed by either. Plus, it’s a nice “meet in the middle” texture that both my wife and I can appreciate (she usually prefers firm or dual density dildos).

I debated getting the Wee Daddy Diedrich instead of the Big Daddy Diedrich, as the circumference of the mid and lower shaft are on the high end of sizing I can comfortably take. After also getting a Wee Daddy Duncan, I’m glad that I went larger. The large is a stretch for me, but not so much that it’s uncomfortable or too close to my maximum that I can’t just pick it up and use it any time. As long as I’m feeling physically aroused, I can slowly work it in.
The product photos on the listing didn’t quite prepare me for the shape of the shaft. From the photos, I couldn’t quite tell that the shaft has more of a triangular shape rather than a circular shape, especially above the point where the dildo curves. The vein on the underside of the shaft is what gives Diedrich this rounded triangular shape, though I can’t say that it adds much to the texture itself, just the overall shape.
Cassie and I really put Diedrich through the motions when it came to testing, likely because it only took each of us one single use to decide that we both like this dildo. We both strap-on topped and bottomed with it and we both hand pumped it into each other. Beyond that, I also tried it in the thrusting fuck machine, riding it and masturbating with it. I tried it with a vac-u-lock ergonomic handle and with a port plug, and with nothing plugging the port at all.

My favorite ways of using Diedrich and/or having it used on me, were during oral sex while it was thrust into me, during strap-on sex, both giving and receiving, and inserting it, letting my thighs keep it in place, and using a vibrator on my clitoris (cockwarming). The realistic dildo has a great design and delightful texture that really worked for me for both thrusting and cockwarming. I really loved the feeling of fullness I experience when Diedrich is just inserted and I rock my hips up and down, thanks to that swell on the shaft. And feeling the head moving through me as its thrust in and out is enough to make my brain explode in pleasure.
As a vaginal user, I only found one, single way of using Diedrich or having it used on me that I disliked. As I write that, even I’m thinking “that sounds too good to be true…” but I really did like using it every single way I tried. I obviously have preferences, and I occasionally find that some dildo designs are better for one purpose rather than a variety of purposes. Diedrich, in my opinion, is a good dildo for any purpose.
The one single way that I disliked? Strap-on topping with the vac-u-lock port plugged. Unfortunately, the port plug that I have from Uberrime sticks out a bit past the base, and I found it very uncomfortable to have it pressing against my body while topping. I don’t have a vac-u-lock strap-on harness, but I do believe that as long as there is a hard surface under the lock, this wouldn’t be as much of an issue. In theory, a hard surface would protect the top from any uncomfortable shapes pressing into their mons pubis (or wherever their strap-on harness sits on their body).

My wife, Cassie, is the primary anal user in the house and is also a bit of a size queen. She really enjoyed the head of the dildo for both prostate stimulation and the feeling of it moving inside of her, though she wasn’t getting quite as much texture sensation anywhere else except at her sphincter. Her preference of movement with Diedrich was long, hard strokes or short, upward angled strokes with the head aimed at her prostate. This was a really comfortable dildo for Cassie to take, though she did vocalize that she wished for larger and/or firmer.
The one thing that Cassie had a very strong opinion about was the vac-u-lock port. She very much preferred having the vac-u-lock port plugged since without it, the lower part of the shaft becomes very squishy and easily squeezed together. That’s pretty typical when it comes to a vac-u-lock dildo that doesn’t have a port plug inserted, though. Since I didn’t like the feeling of the plug port popping out against my body, this did mean more hand-pumping the dildo into her rather than strap-on topping. The port plug worked in my favor here, as it gave me something to wrap my fingers around for a more comfortable hold.
The base of the size large Diedrich is big enough that I can comfortably grip it, however having a little extra assistance via the port plug was very welcome. The port plug was nice to wrap my fingers around to give me better stabilization while hand pumping the dildo into Cassie and when thrusting the dildo into myself. It didn’t ease the position of thrusting into myself much, so if that’s a concern of yours, I’d recommend looking into the SilcArts Vac-u-Lock Ergonomic Handle. The handle did add a lot of stability to the dildo when using it on myself, and made thrusting much easier while on my back, the position where my big belly/short arms combo make it more challenging.

If you are in a relationship like Cassie and I, where one of you is a vaginal user and the other is an anal user, it is important to properly clean the dildo between anal use and vaginal use. For some people, thoroughly washing with a hand soap or dish soap a couple times is enough, but it may not be for everyone. If you have a sensitive vaginal biome, I recommend following my instructions above for a deep clean. I personally like to follow up with a boric acid suppository inserted vaginally before bed after using a toy that has been in anyone’s ass, though you should talk to your health care provider first before doing the same thing. Though platinum cure silicone is non-porous, it is always better to be safe than sorry.
Pros:
- custom made to order in your choice of size, firmness, color(s) and base style
- made with platinum cure silicone
- great head shape for g-spot or p-spot stimulation
- mid-shaft swell gives a really nice feeling of fullness
- support a queer owned indie toy company
- anal safe
- harness compatible (o-ring and/or vac-u-lock)
- easy to clean
- no cringey food terms for the 5 realistic human skin tones available
Cons:
- soft silicones can have a tacky/sticky surface texture that causes hair, lint, pollen, etc to stick the surface
- vac-u-lock port not available on the Wee Daddy size (too small to accommodate a port)
- no pour style customization with multiple colors

My Final Thoughts on Diedrich by Dee’s Big Daddies
Cassie and I both really enjoyed Dee’s Big Daddies’ Diedrich. The size large in 00-50 firmness worked well for us both, her for prostate stimulation, me for g-spot stimulation. The coronal ridge and swell are both Cassie’s and my favorite design aspects of Big Daddy Diedrich.
I would recommend Big Daddy Diedrich to anyone who likes realistic dildos, who likes a bulbous head with a very prominent coronal ridge, or who likes a dildo with a good swell on the shaft. It’s fantastic for partner play and solo play alike, though the wide base also makes Diedrich a great option for strap-on play, such as pegging.
