For someone who loves fantasy dildos, I realized that my collection is severely lacking when it comes to dragon dildos. Thankfully, Uberrime fixed that for me last year by sending me a new one: Draconis Dragon Dildo from their “beginner friendly fantasy” line, Phantasia. You may remember me talking about the Phantasia line before when I reviewed Equus and Oceanus, so I’m excited to continue to sharing the “entry level” fantasy sex toys!

Meet Uberrime’s Draconis Dragon Fantasy Dildo
Like the other toys in Uberrime’s Phantasia line, Draconis Dragon dildo is available in 2 different sizes: small and large. Customers can choose from two different firmness options, Soft & Squishy 00-30 or Soft 00-50, one to three colors, and, with the large size, a vac-u-lock or bullet vibe port. There is a matte surface to the dildo, which does have quite a bit of drag to it. Draconis has a flared base so it is safe for anal use and it is compatible with an o-ring strap-on harness.
Draconis does have a lot of texture, especially in comparison to the other fantasy dildos in Uberrime’s Phantasia line. There are bumps on the tapered head and a prominent coronal ridge, followed by a lot of horizontal ridges, in the form of dragon scales, along the shaft. There is a lot of texture going on, but it’s very low profile with soft, rounded edges.
I got a size large, though I did not customize mine. I believe it is a 00-50 firmness, in the colors Pearl Rose and Nebula Purple, however I’m not entirely sure (Uberrime occasionally offers their affiliate partners photoshoot models, which is how I ended up with this one). The size large has the following dimensions:

How to Care for Your Draconis Dragon Dildo
Because Uberrime only uses platinum cured silicone to make their sex toys, they’re all very easy to clean! The hardest part of cleaning the Draconis Dragon dildo is the texture, however I don’t find the texture deep enough to warrant needing a soft brush to help. All you need is warm water and an unscented, antibacterial soap that does not contain silicone (check the ingredients list for anything ending in “-cone”). Rinse it off, lather it up with soap, then rinse again. Allow the fantasy dildo to dry completely before you store it.
Another great thing about platinum cure silicone is that it is non-porous, which means you can actually sanitize or sterilize it! You don’t really need to do this often, however if you’re switching a toy from anal use to vaginal use or you’re sharing with a partner or selling a toy, you should take the time to properly sanitize it first. There are a few options available to you:
- Soak in a 1:10 bleach:water mixture for up to 10 minutes
- Boil in water, using a silicone utensil to make sure the toy isn’t resting against the sides or bottom of the pot
- Run through the dishwasher on a sanitize setting without detergent
- Bake on a lined baking tray in a preheated oven set to 350F/180C for 10 minutes
Lubricant is also really important! Uberrime suggests staying away from silicone based lubes. Only use water-based lubricants or natural, body-safe oils or oil lubricants.
Silicone is a pretty strong material, however it’s still a somewhat delicate material. You should avoid biting or scratching it, and make sure not to store it against any heavily textured or abrasive surfaces. To further protect your platinum cure silicone sex toys, also avoid storing them with any sex toys that are not made with non-porous materials, such as TPE, jelly, silicone blends, etc.
Flying High on Uberrime’s Draconis Dragon Dildo
Draconis arrived alongside Equus and Oceanus, however I focused my attention on the two small dildos while Cassie focused her attention on this one. For her, it’s a small dildo, though it’s important to note that Cassie is a bit of a size queen. I knew that I’d eventually get around to using Draconis on myself, but I wanted to let her have some fun with it first.
And fun was indeed had! Cassie often prefers firmer silicone or dual density dildos, with some of her favorite dildos including the Splendid Dildo, Seahorse, Joy, and Maxima XXL. I was surprised when she repeatedly asked me to use Draconis on her because it’s much squishier than all of those, but when she says she wants something… I’m going to give it to her! Both the length and girth were really comfortable for her to take anally, and the texture is far less raised or dramatic compared to some of the other dragons in our collection. Draconis became one of Cassie’s regular “warm-up” dildos for us to use. Sometimes, she’d want something with more girth or texture afterwards, but sometimes we’d both end up surprised that Draconis was enough.
Cassie enjoys the texture quite a bit, as it does have a lot of texture but it’s not so deep that it’s overstimulating to her. I’m able to thrust hard and fast with the fantasy dildo, with both short or long strokes, and she’s euphoric without the texture causing her to tap out sooner. The softness of 00-50 is softer than Cass usually prefers, but it’s really working in her favor. Her favorite aspects of the dildo are the texture and that it handles well when I strap-on top her with it.
Wielding Draconis Dragon dildo in my strap-on harness was pretty comfortable and easy. It fit easily into my strappy CalExotics harness that is my usual “go-to” harness, but it also worked well in the Ouch! by Shots panty style harness that I have, which has an adjustable o-ring rather than the RodeoH harnesses that have a static o-ring size. Prior to us trying Draconis in a strap, I was a bit worried that the base was too thick. I’m not a fan of thick bases, as they can feel uncomfortable pressing into my belly or mons pubis. Thankfully, the base wasn’t that thick and the softness of the silicone helped minimize some of the discomfort I’d feel with a firmer silicone.
The base is also thick enough and wide enough that it was pretty comfortable for me to hold when thrusting it into her by hand. There are some positions that work better or worse for me and my hands/wrist, but I never struggled more than a moment to find a better hold position.
There is a very slight curve to the shaft, but it’s not quite enough for prostate stimulation unless angling the dildo just the right way. We were able to get Cassie to have a prostate orgasm using Draconis, usually with her in a mating press position on the bed, with me standing so that there was an upwards angle of penetration. It was also achieved with her in doggystyle and my standing over with my legs outside of hers so the dildo was angled downwards.
Getting my turn with the dragon dildo was almost a challenge because Cassie just kept reaching for it. It took a while, but eventually I was able to do my testing of the dildo.
As a vaginal user, I was a bit worried about the dragon fantasy dildo because the texture is primarily horizontal. Horizontal texture is more stimulating to me since it’s not moving in the same direction of thrusting, whereas vertical texture is much less noticeable to me. The overall shape excited me, the bumps on the tip excited me, but all those ridges?
Much to my own surprise, Draconis Dragon Dildo was delightful. My preferred way to use the dildo was to lube it up and insert it, leaving it to sit while using a vibrator on my clitoris until I was ready for thrusting. This helped me warm-up to the texture before feeling it move in and out, especially if I let myself achieve orgasm before thrusting with the dildo. Once that happened, I could handle quite a bit more… more thrusting, more speed, longer strokes, all of it!
That’s the thing about textured dildos and me: I need warm up before I can handle a lot of texture. It’s something I often forget about myself, which means I almost never remember to even mention it here. A good warm up and a bit of lube goes a long way!
Gripping the base of the dragon dildo to thrust into myself wasn’t too uncomfortable. Again, the base fit pretty comfortably in my hand and I was able to hold it without experiencing any discomfort. I’m currently a bit limited in my left arm movement due to tendinitis, though I was able to comfortably grip with my right hand and thrust if I wanted it. Often times, I’d work myself up, then spend a few minutes thrusting the dildo into myself. It was easiest to reach with a couple pillows under my shoulders and upper back, but using a double-sided suction cup and my ergonomic handle made it even easier for me.
There are two small imperfections on the base of the fantasy dildo, and I am unsure whether they are my own fault or if they arrived with the imperfections. I just can’t remember and the photos I have from the unboxing don’t show the base. Thankfully, the imperfections do not impact use!
One of the biggest downsides of Uberrime’s Phantasia line is that “large” is significantly smaller than some toys from other brands that are also labeled as “large.” For me, the size was comfortable, though I didn’t always take the full length. I think that some fantasy dildo enthusiasts may find this “large” is actually on the smaller side, but this line is not really aimed at those who have existing experience with fantasy dildos. For those unsure which size is right for them, I’d suggest going with the size small. For those who aren’t sure about firmness, I’d suggest the 00-30 for vaginal use and 00-50 for anal use.

My Final Thoughts on Uberrime’s Draconis Dragon Dildo
As usual, Uberrime and the designer ExcelDDesigns did a fantastic job with Draconis. As a regular user of fantasy dildos, the size large could be larger, but I find it quite comfortable and I do think it’s a reasonable size for the Phantasia Beginner-Friendly Fantasy line. Even as a regular fantasy dildo user, horizontal ridged textures are often ones that I tend to avoid, so I was really impressed that I was able to use the dildo without experiencing any overstimulation. I think it’s safe to say that I’m a fan!
If you’re considering buying a fantasy dildo for yourself or a partner, remember that it’s ok to start small and soft so you can later have room to grow into larger toys with more firm textures. I would recommend the Phantasia line as a whole to anyone who has never used fantasy sex toys but is curious to do so. Uberrime is a great company and they make really beautiful toys!
