I’m a sucker for cute things, ya’ll. I’m not immune to the line-up of cute dildos and sex toys from KumoCoom, and I knew I’d grow my collection of toys from them. After reviewing Maid’s Secret, I decided to purchase a Glimmer Bow as my next dildo from them.
Like Maid’s Secret, Glimmer Bow arrived with its own cloth storage pouch, tiny squishes, and a few pins. Unboxing it was a lot of fun, though I was given a sneak peak of the package being boxed up by KumoCoom on Bluesky!
The Basics of KumoCoom’s Glimmer Bow Dildo
With 4 sizes currently available, KumoCoom’s Glimmer Bow is another cute dildo design by the Chinese indie toy company. Unlike some of their other designs, Glimmer Bow isn’t a fantasy dildo, instead it sort of resembles a crystal, with angular “cut” shapes along the shaft and testicles. The tip has a slight taper to it, but quickly reaches maximum circumference. The shaft also has a very slight curve to it, curving the tip upwards away from the testicles. The cute dildo is made extra fancy with a large bow design on the testicles. To finish it off, the dildo also features a suction cup base.

All of KumoCoom’s dildos are made with platinum cure silicone in a squishy 00-30 firmness. Since my previous review of Maid’s Secret, KumoCoom has added not only a new dildo design, the Blob Stack, but they also started offering customization of pours and colors! The customization option is quite new, launched in September 2026.
Of the 4 size options available, I selected Glimmer Bow in a size small in the purple coloration. The squishy silicone is very squishy, but still maintains shape well and is easy to insert. The size small has the following dimensions:
- Total length: 5.9″ / 14.99cm
- Insertable length: 4.7″ / 11.94cm
- Shaft circumference: 4.17″ / 10.6cm
- Circumference around bow: 7.09″ / 18cm
- Base circumference: 10″ / 25.4cm
- O-ring size: 1.5″ / 3.81cm

Caring for KumoCoom’s Glimmer Bow Dildo
Since all of KumoCoom’s dildos are made with platinum cure silicone, cleaning them is really easy and there are options for actual proper sterilization/sanitation. Platinum cure silicone is non-porous, meaning that no pathogens or anything can get stuck beneath the surface of the toy. However, pathogens, dirt, fur, hair, etc can still stick to the surface of the toy, due to a level of static electricity within the toy. That is why it’s so important to clean your sex toys both before and after each use! To clean your toys, here are some of the options you have:
- Basic clean: warm water and an unscented soap that does not contain silicone. Rinse the dildo, lather it up with soap, then rinse again. This is the cleaning method you’ll likely use the most often and is sufficient for a non-sterilization cleaning.
- Deeper cleaning: These options below are ways to sterilize platinum cure silicone sex toys. You likely won’t need to do them often, but you should do so if you’re buying/selling a toy on the second-hand market, you’ve shown signs/symptoms of an infection, you’re moving a toy from anal use to vaginal use, or you’re sharing a toy with a partner that you’re not fluid bound with.
- Boil it in water for 10 minutes. Use tongs to both place the dildo into the water and pull it out. You may also need to move the dildo during that time to make sure it’s not resting against the sides or base of the pot.
- Bleach bath for 10 minutes. 1 part bleach, 9 parts water. Soak the dildo then thoroughly rinse it off afterwards to insure there is no bleach remaining on the surface of the toy.
- Bake it on a lined baking tray in a preheated oven set to 350F / 180C. Bake for about 10 minutes.
- Use your dishwasher’s Sanitize setting and run it through a cycle. Do not use any detergent and do not put any dirty dishes in the same cycle.
- Soak a lint-free cloth in isopropyl alcohol and gently rub the dildo down. Afterwards, you’ll need to thoroughly rinse it with hot water to make sure there is no alcohol remaining on the surface of the toy.
The bow on the balls of the dildo can be a little challenging to clean around, but I found that running my pinkie finger around the bow while it was soaped up was enough. I didn’t need a small, soft toothbrush for the job, but you can use one if you prefer.

I have seen some indie toy makers say that heat can cause Near Clear to yellow temporarily, so if you get the same coloration as I did from KumoCoom, you may want to stick to sterilization methods that do not require heat.
Silicone sex toys can last for years upon years with proper care. Keep these tips in mind to increase the longevity of your KumoCoom sex toys:
- Don’t bite or scratch the dildo
- Don’t store platinum cure silicone dildos with toys made from porous materials, such as TPE, latex, jelly, PVC, rubber, vinyl, etc.
- Allow the toy to fully dry before storing it. If you must store it immediately, pat it dry with a lint-free cloth then store in a bag with a silica packet to help absorb remaining moisture.
- Don’t store it against any abrasive or heavily textured surfaces.
- Don’t pull the dildo in attempts to break a suction cup seal. Instead, use the tip of your finger to gently push and lift around the base where the suction cup is located to break the seal.
My Experiences with KomoCoom Glimmer Bow
When I first learned about KumoCoom and made an impulse purchase of Maid’s Secret, that wasn’t the only dildo I wanted from the Chinese indie toy maker. However, I’m the type of person that will make a small purchase first to test the waters before buying more. So, I only bought one toy at that time. Around the time that my review of Maid’s Secret went live, KumoCoom offered me a “buy one, get one free” type deal as thank you for that review, and I decided to purchase Glimmer Bow and selected Nebula Pony as my free toy. I’ll review Nebula Pony in the future, but Glimmer Bow has gotten significantly more use so far, so it’s up for review first!

I selected Glimmer Bow because I wanted something different for anal use. Leading up to getting Glimmer Bow, Oceanus, Equus and Prima were my go-to dildos for anal, and while they are all good dildos for that job, I was keen for a different type of texture and head shape. Glimmer Bow’s shape appealed to me, and I hoped that the angular texture in soft 00-30 would feel nice anally.
Despite buying the dildo for anal use, I didn’t use it anally right away. I started with vaginal use.
Vaginally, the size small dildo was just ok for me. The texture is far more gentle in its “diamond-cut” angles than Echo, plus it’s softer and smaller than that particular model in my collection. The combination of the three made it very comfortable for use pretty much anytime, something that I appreciate when I’m feeling a bit tender or sore from prior penetration.
Glimmer Bow’s texture is very angular and it’s asymmetrical, however, I didn’t notice either much during vaginal use. The softness of the silicone really dulls the texture for me. I could feel it, but it wasn’t an intense texture. I noticed it more during my time of month, when my sensitivity is slightly increased.

The length did work for g-spot stimulation, particularly when cock warming and using my thighs to hold the dildo in place or when having the dildo thrust into me on my fuck machine or with a partner’s helping hand. The softness of the silicone did make it slightly less intense g-spot stimulation, but I did find that it worked well enough to get me to orgasm, especially with help in the form of clitoral stimulation.
The size small wasn’t my favorite for cockwarming, as it just wasn’t quite filling enough. If I were to repurchase this dildo with the intention of cockwarming it, I’d go for a size large for vaginal use. That’s within my size range though, so make sure you pay attention to sizes to get something that would work best for your body!
Most of my testing of Glimmer Bow was as an anal dildo, which wasn’t a vastly different experience compared to vaginal use. I was surprised by how easy the dildo was to insert anally, though. The tip is pretty minimally tapered and the silicone is quite soft, so I wasn’t entirely sure how well I’d do with it. As a newer anal user, I’ve heard my wife complain about softer dildos being more difficult to insert. I can see what she means with larger toys when I use them on her, but I never ran into that issue using this small soft dildo on myself.

Cockwarming the dildo anally was the only drastically different experience during my testing. Vaginally, a 4.17″ circumference is comfortable to use, but doesn’t give me a feeling of fullness that I seek for cockwarming. Anally though? My ass felt full. The dildo doesn’t have any design features that make it good for staying inserted on its own, but I found that if I was on my back, having the dildo’s balls beneath me helped keep it inserted. That also worked for hitting my g-spot that way, though again, it wasn’t intense g-spot pressure. The soft pressure was still enough for me to have an orgasm, though!
As pleasurable as cockwarming the small dildo was for me, it was nothing compared to having the dildo fuck my ass repeatedly. The angular texture that wasn’t very stimulating during vaginal use suddenly felt more intense during anal use. I could feel the “diamond-cut” angular texture more clearly, and I really enjoyed it. Fast thrusts, slow thrusts, didn’t matter. The texture moving in and out, rubbing against my sphincter was positively stimulating.
My favorite anal use of the Glimmer Bow dildo was during double penetration, particularly while standing or in doggystyle. Having my partner penetrate me vaginally while also using the dildo on me anally sent me spiraling into the depths of pleasure and left me shaking after each explosive orgasm. He tried achieving it two ways: using his hand to thrust it into me and having the base pressed against his body. Hand thrusting was easier for him while standing and using his body to thrust it into me was easier in doggystyle or in a prone position with a pillow under my hips.

At the size that I got, I strongly prefer using the cute purple dildo for anal penetration more than vaginal penetration. Glimmer Bow has become a regular in my line-up of dildos for anal use, and I don’t see it getting de-throned from that position any time soon.
My only gripe with the dildo is with the suction cup base. It isn’t quite as strong as I’d hoped, so it didn’t stay connected to my textured shower walls. The size small’s base is also right at the same size as my 3.5″ Hismith suction cup adapter, so I’d need to get a larger adapter for the machine to use this dildo that way unassisted. As is, I used rubber bands to help keep it in place on my machine, though I wouldn’t recommend that if you want a sturdy connection.
Pros:
- available in multiple sizes in one of two predetermined colorations or pick your own colors and pourstyle
- low-profile, soft, angular texture is pleasurably stimulating in use
- petite sizing for those who prefer thin dildos
- safe for anal penetration
- harness compatible
- packages come with extra goodies and are fun to open
- slightly curved shaft may work for g-spot or prostate stimulation
- soft silicone dildo is very squishy and comfortable
Cons:
- only one firmness option available (00-30)
- area around the bow may require a bit of extra effort to clean
- suction cup base isn’t as strong as I’d like

My Final Thoughts on Glimmer Bow by KumoCoom
I’m obsessed with how cute KumoCoom’s toys are, and to have them work well for me is a blessing. Glimmer Bow’s design is an approachable textural delight, and I love the way it feels moving in and out of my backdoor. The size I got is underwhelming during my vaginal use, but that wasn’t my intended purpose of this dildo anyway. I’m really happy with my purchase, and I already know that I’ll get more of KumoCoom’s toys in the future now that they’re offering further customizations.
I’d recommend Glimmer Bow for people who want cute toys with abundant low-profile texture. I love that it comes in petite sizes so that it’s accessible to more people, and I’m extra happy that moving forward, customers can pick their own colorations. I think Glimmer Bow is a good option for people who need soft or small toys, and want approachable designs that are too cute to be intimidating.

I purchased this dildo on my own, though I did receive a second dildo with my purchase for free as “thanks” for my review of Maid’s Secret (also purchased independently). While I am grateful KumoCoom showing me their appreciation of my previous review, I would have purchased this dildo with or without that offer. All thoughts and opinions are my own!
