I’d love to tell you that I was really excited to try the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads, but if I did that, I’d be lying. These vibrating anal beads sat on my “to review” shelf for an embarrassingly long time. Heck, they even came over to the Netherlands with me from the US, having sat untouched for several months prior to our move. They were part of my onboarding gift as an “influencer” affiliate with b-Vibe and Le Wand, but I just wasn’t as interested in them as I was all the other toys I received.
Fast forward to late 2025, when I tried PIA sex for the very first time, and suddenly the anal beads were moved from my “to review” shelf to my office. I was curious about them, having never tried anal beads before. The petite size seemed approachable to me, and I’m all about a good vibrator! But how would this anal vibrator compare to another vibrator I’d tried recently? Well, there was only one way to find out: put on my lab coat and safety goggles, and begin my scientific investigation.
Ok, just kidding, I didn’t put on a lab coat or safety goggles, but I did begin testing!
The Basics of the Triplet Anal Beads by b-Vibe
Made with body safe silicone, b-Vibe’s Triplet Anal Beads are petite, vibrating beads with an anal safe t-base. They’re available in Fuchsia and Black, and come with a remote control, charging cord, and a storage pouch. Starting with a small bead, the anal vibrator has a total of 3 beads, each slightly different in size. The device boasts 15 vibration patterns, each with 6 vibration intensity levels that can only be reached by using the remote control. The remote control is battery powered and takes a CR2032 battery type.

They’re rechargeable and splash proof, meaning you shouldn’t submerge them in a tub or pool. There’s also a travel lock so the vibrator doesn’t accidentally turn on while in your suitcase or purse! The Triplet Beads have the following dimensions:
- Total length: 5.4″ / 13.72cm
- Insertable length: 3.7″ / 9.4cm
- T-Base length: 2.5″ / 6.35cm
- Top bead diameter: 0.8″ / 2.03cm
- Middle bead diameter: 1″ / 2.54cm
- Bottom bead diameter: 1.2″ / 3.05cm

b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads Care and Charging
Don’t let your excitement to use the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads get in the way of the necessary first step: charging the device. With the included charging cord, plug the USB end into a USB port or charging block, then attach the magnetic end to the base of the vibrator. Charging will take approximately 2 hours, and the power button next to the magnetic charging port will light up and flash while it’s charging. Once the vibrator is fully charged, the light will turn steady. If the light is rapidly flashing, this indicates that a charge is needed. Each charge is estimated to last about 1 hour.
The second necessary step before you can use the device? Cleaning! Using an unscented, anti-bacterial soap that does not contain silicone, rinse the device under hot water, lather it up with the soap, then rinse again. Soap wise, you don’t need to use a specialty toy cleaner! Sure, you can, and maybe you should if you don’t have control over the soap used in your household, but regular old dish soap will do the trick. Just check the ingredients list for anything ending in “-cone” and if you see that among the ingredients list, try a different soap.

Because these vibrating anal beads are splashproof, you should not submerge underwater. Also avoid charging your anal beads while they are wet. The remote control is also not waterproof! Use a gentle cleaning cloth to wipe away any lubricant that you get on the remote and allow it to fully dry before use.
One last thing before you can actually get to the fun part: make sure you’re using a water-based lubricant. b-Vibe recommends avoiding silicone lubes, as they can damage the product.
How to Use the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads
Charged, cleaned, and ready to go? Perfect! With your preferred water based lubricant, apply lube to the tip of the anal beads, generously moving it around the entire insertable length of the vibrator. Using either your finger or the tip of the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads, disperse some of the lube on your anus, then gently begin to press the beads into your body one at a time. If you’re having trouble, slowly use the first bead to thrust into your body, pushing further every other thrust. You may also find it easier to have the vibrator turned on to stimulate and relax your anus before pressing it into yourself.

To turn the vibrator on, simply do a quick press of the power button on the bottom of the beads. The light will flash to indicate the device is powered on, and another quick press will begin the vibrations in “manual” mode. If you’re using the remote, after you’ve powered on the device but before you’ve entered into manual mode, press the middle power button on the remote. Whether you’re using the remote or not, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the device off.
Now, here’s where things can get a little tricky. The travel lock also requires you to press and hold the power button! Instead of 2 seconds, you hold it for 5 seconds. If you’re not paying attention when you power off the beads, you may accidentally switch the device into travel lock, and then the next time you go to use it, panic and wonder why a quick press isn’t turning them on. Learn from my mistakes ya’ll! Count your seconds as you press and hold!
When I pulled the vibrating anal beads out of the box and charged them up, the remote control was already linked to the vibrator. However, if you need to connect the two, first power on the anal beads. While the base light is flashing, press the power button on the remote. The base light show become solid, indicating that the remote is properly paired with the vibrator.

Ok so the remote control experience… I’m not a huge fan of remote controls, but I much prefer them over app controlled vibrators! In the case of the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads, the remote is actually pretty damn helpful. Without the remote, you’re limited to a single intensity level across all 15 vibration modes. Boring! With the remote, you unlock the 6 intensity levels across all 15 vibration modes. In addition to the power button on the remote, there are 3 other buttons: +/- to control the intensity levels, and a “W” squiggly line to control the modes.
My Experiences with b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads
A little over a year ago, I decided to start exploring a type of stimulation I’d previously had no interest in doing: anal. I’ve given plenty of anal to others, but my backdoor was basically “off limits” for penetration, though I had some partners rim me and I had tried a tiny little butt plug. Then, in 2025, I started experimenting with my own anal stimulation using a tapered dildo, a couple small plugs, and a couple vibrators, including the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads.
All of this experimenting brought me to the question of “why the hell have I avoided this for so long?!” It turns out that I actually enjoy some anal stimulation!
“Some” being an important word choice, though. Because not all anal stimulation has felt pleasurable. Some of it has felt kind of bland, some of it has felt overstimulating. The b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads? For me, it depends entirely on how and when I’m using them.

During Other, Non-Masturbatory Activities
Since I enjoy using pussy plugs and wearable vibrators while doing mundane tasks, like household chores, my nighttime skincare routine, or writing, I was really excited to try the b-Vibe vibrating anal beads the same way. As I moved around the house, putting away laundry and tidying up for visitors, the vibrator was doing its thing inside me, and I was becoming more and more aroused by the minute.
I wasn’t able to achieve orgasm, but I also wasn’t trying either. I primarily wanted to see if I’d enjoy the anal vibrator the same way I enjoy wearable vibrators inserted vaginally, and I did! After doing some housework with the anal beads inserted, I experienced a level of wetness that enabled me to insert a separate toy vaginally, sans lube, with much more ease than normal (thanks, medication).

During Masturbation
Speaking of inserting a separate toy vaginally… This is where I really started to notice just how much it mattered which toy I had inserted vaginally. I tried to use a few different dildos and vibrators, and I really wish I could point to a specific trait that made a toy “better” for double penetration, or DP, when paired with the Triplet Anal Beads. Instead, I can point to a few things that did not work for me:
- skinny dildos just left me wanting more more more
- firm dildos, like a 10A firmness, were too firm and felt uncomfortable
- vibrators filled me with a sensation of my entire pelvis was vibrating (negative). The one exception was good g-spot vibrators, specifically the Pillow Talk Sassy and Maia Kora, which gave me more targeted vibrations.
Thankfully, I have ample options of girthy and squishy dildos to choose from! DP also isn’t the only way I tried the anal beads during solo play. When pairing the vibrating anal beads with a clitoral vibrator or an air pulse toy, I thought my brain would explode in pleasure. I did still have a sensation of “vibrations everywhere” but on the lower intensity levels, bullet vibrators were really delightful. My favorite toy to pair with the b-Vibe vibrating anal beads ended up being the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3. The gentle “suction” was just the right amount of stimulation to send me spiraling into the depths of pleasure.

During PIV Sex
I’ve become a big fan of DP, ya’ll. I never saw that coming, but here I am. Having the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads fully inserted during sex was kind of lackluster for me. The vibrations of the device were strong enough that they distracted me from feeling my partner’s penis. Granted, my boy toy is not “porn star” endowed, but he’s got a nice length and decent girth. I kind of expected and hoped to be able to still enjoy his penis while the vibrating anal beads were inside me though. Instead, all I could feel was the vibrations.
We tried multiple positions with the beads inside me, doggystyle, mating press, standing, cowgirl, missionary… None of them really hit the spot the way DP with him usually does, including when we’ve tried other vibrators inserted in my ass. Frankly, I was disappointed because I wanted to feel both, and I just wasn’t, especially with the steady vibrations.
Lucky for me, I guess, my boy toy wasn’t a fan of the steady vibrations either and switched over to one of the patterns. Patterns 2 and 3 felt the most enjoyable for me while my pussy was filled by my partner, but he really liked patterns 7, 11, and 12. The patterns helped make PIV sex more enjoyable while the anal beads were inside me, but not enough that I care enough to bring them with me for further scientific research.
The one thing that my partner did that I really, really enjoyed? Slowly slid the beads and in and out of my anus. Both with and without the vibrations turned on, the repeated thrusting of the beads in and out of me felt fantastic. This was easiest to achieve in doggystyle or in a face down prone position.

Everything Else
One of my small gripes about the remote controlled vibrating anal beads is the remote itself. The wavy “W” button that switches between vibration patterns just doesn’t feel like a button to me. While the +/- buttons on either side of the remote control’s power button behave like buttons, the top quadrant where the “W” button is does not move the same way. There’s no real “click” sensation beneath my thumb, and it annoys me. I think that it should have the same “click” sensation as the other buttons!

My other gripe is the button placement on the vibrator itself. I encountered similar button placement when I tested the Anal Training and Education Set from b-Vibe. I’ve got a big butt, however, it’s not so big that the power button on the bottom of the device is properly cushioned beneath it when I sit down. The base is thick enough that it reaches out from between my cheeks. If I’m sitting on a firm surface, I accidentally turn the vibrator off. I do recognize that there’s not really anywhere better to place the button, but I’m still bummed that I can’t sit down and have the vibrator keep going.
I’ve found that with my short arms/big belly combination, the easiest way for me to insert the anal beads is when I’m on my side. Squatting and reaching between my legs isn’t terrible, but reaching behind to insert while in a spoon type position was far easier for me.
As someone who does not have a prostate, I did enjoy the vibrating anal beads, but I could take them or leave them. They were fun and I was able to have some pleasure from them, but they alone never got me to the point of orgasm. Maybe it’s better or different for people who do have a prostate, but Cassie didn’t test these beads out so I’m really not sure.

Pros:
- body safe silicone vibrating anal beads
- rechargeable
- remote control unlocks 6 vibration intensity levels
- 15 vibration patterns can be used manually or with the remote control
- t-base is anal safe
- petite size is approachable for those newer to anal stimulation
- easy to insert
- travel lock
- quiet
- decent flexibility
Cons:
- the number of times I accidentally turned on the travel lock…
- not the most affordable option on the market
- splashproof only 🙁
- visible seam lines that are noticeable beneath my thumb (but not while inserted)
My Final Thoughts on b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads
Though I had some clear losses with the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads, I also had some wins. The anal vibrator is well made, and the silicone is buttery smooth. There are far more vibration patterns than I personally need, but my partner seemed to enjoy them. I was glad for the 6 intensity levels, which can only be reached when using the remote control (which I’m not the biggest fan of). It is, overall, a well made vibrator, even if it’s not the anal vibrator for me.
The size of the anal beads is really approachable, even for those newer to anal stimulation. However, the price point for the b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads is not the most affordable, which takes away from the approachability of the vibrator. They’re good anal beads, but personally speaking, I’d rather wait for a sale than pay the $145 price tag.
