I’m always so thrilled when I get to test and review wearable vibrators, so when HoneyPlayBox reached out again to have me review another toy from them, I was eager to try another wearable vibrator from them since I enjoyed Melody so much. This time I wanted a vibrator that I could wear vaginally or anally since I’m slowly but surely exploring anal pleasure, so when I saw Oly 2 on their site, I knew that was which one I wanted to try.

Meet HoneyPlayBox Oly 2
Oly 2 is the new, upgraded version of HoneyPlayBox’s best seller, Oly. Having never tried Oly, I’m unable to speak to any major differences between the two, however Oly 2 has one big change from Oly that I imagine makes a world of difference: pressure control. I’ve only tried a pressure control toy once before, and I didn’t even review the toy (silly, I know). Pressure control is basically when the vibrator will adjust intensity based on the amount of pressure applied to it, increasing or decreasing vibration intensity as your body moves through different stages of pleasure. From what I was able to tell, this is really the only notable change between the two versions of Oly.
Oly 2 is available in four colors: Pale Pink, Mint Green, Fluorescent Green, and Black. The wearable egg vibrator is designed and marketed for vaginal use, but is safe to use for anal. It’s rechargeable and has an IPX 7 rating, meaning that it is waterproof submersible and safe to use for up to 30 minutes in about 1 meter / 3.29ft of water. The vibrator is also marketed as having “Vaginal Temperature Detection,” which is available in the optional app. Included in the box are a storage pouch, charging cord, app guide and user manual.
HoneyPlayBox Oly 2 Care Instructions
When your HoneyPlayBox Oly 2 arrives, it will have a partial charge already, however you should fully charge the vibrator before your first use. Using the included magnetic charging cable, charge the device for approximately 2 hours. While charging, the light on the base will flash, then stay on once fully charged. Each charge will last about 1.5 hours.
To clean the vibrator, use warm water and an antibacterial, unscented soap (hand soap or dish soap is fine), or your preferred toy cleaner. Allow the device to fully dry before storing it. If you plan to use the vibrator vaginally after previously using it anally, I recommend doing a deep clean by soaking it in a 10% bleach/90% water mixture for up to 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly. Silicone is non-porous, but some people may have more sensitive vaginas, so it’s always better to be safe. Avoid using any alcohol, gasoline or acetone products to clean the vibrator.
According to HoneyPlayBox, you should avoid using massage oils, lotions and silicone-based lubricants with the Oly 2. Instead, you should use a water-based lube.
How to Use HoneyPlayBox Oly 2 Wearable G-Spot Vibrator
After you’ve charged and cleaned the vibrator, it’s time to let the fun begin! The power button is located on the bottom of the t-base, so it can be pressed while the Oly 2 is inserted. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to power the device on. The light on the base will glow to show the device is powered on. Press the button again to switch between the 9 vibration patterns. To power the device off, simply press and hold the button again.
If you want to use the app to control the device, you’ll have a wider range of controls at your fingertips. The outside wrapper of the packaging and the included user manual both have a QR code to scan to download the app, or you can search the Apple Store or Google Play for the HoneyPlayBox app. After signing up and logging in, turn the vibrator on, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, then click on Bluetooth Connect and the app will recognize nearby devices. Oly 2 will pop-up on the app, and you’ll need to select it then hit Connect on the bottom of the screen. You can choose between preset modes, manual control, music activated, or remote control.
There are also AI companions within the app, but I am firmly anti-AI and do not have interest in trying any AI features.
My Experiences with HoneyPlayBox Oly 2 Wearable Egg Vibrator
As a strap-on top, I really love wearable vibrators. I typically don’t receive much, if any, psychical stimulation while strap-on topping, so wearable vibrators are a great way to increase my pleasure while topping. For me, strap-on topping is really fun and it turns me on a lot, so it’s almost like foreplay to me. My mind starts focusing on the pleasure as my body reacts to the mental arousal. However, if my bladder is full and a partner is riding my strap-on, sometimes it’s enough pressure for me to get close to achieving orgasm, but that’s still a pretty specific scenario that I can’t always count on.
In fact, the lack of physical stimulation and pleasure was at one point a sore spot for my wife. She was worried that she was getting all of the pleasure and it wasn’t fair that I wasn’t receiving any while strap-on topping. We’ve thankfully moved past this, as she’s learned that topping her is mentally stimulating for me, which leads to faster physical arousal. Oddly enough, I didn’t test Oly 2 while strap-on topping until one of the last stages of my testing process! I was having too much fun using Oly 2 in other ways that, well, honestly, I forgot about strap-on topping with it inserted. Oops.
After the first time I used Oly 2, I wasn’t sure I wanted to use it again. I had inserted it vaginally with the intention of sitting at my desk writing erotica with the vibrator going, and the clitoral stimulator was just not comfortable between my labia. I’ve got large labia and the device felt like it was trapping them under the base, giving me a pinching sensation. It didn’t feel good! However, what kind of toy tester and reviewer would I be if I didn’t try it again in other ways and positions?
So, I did.
That’s how I found my favorite way to use Oly 2: Using a dildo suctioned to a wall for anal stimulation while the egg vibrator was inserted vaginally. Driven by boredom and curiosity during an evening when I had the apartment to myself, I decided to test the device while doing my extra indulgent skincare routine. I inserted the vibe, pulled out all the skincare tech, and attempted to give myself the at-home spa treatment I deserved. I didn’t quite get through all of that because, in reality, what really happened was more along the lines of pressing my body against my counter as I moaned my way through washing my face, applying my toner, essence, serums and moisturizer before putting on my red light therapy mask and grabbing a second toy to use on myself at the same time. My preference was a dildo that I could suction to the wall and use anally.
Having enjoyed that stimulation so much, I tested the wearable vibrator one night while I was with my boy toy. I wore the vibrator vaginally while he was penetrating my ass, and though it was a very overstimulating combination, it was also the pleasurable kind of overstimulating. Standing and on my side were my favorite two positions while Oly 2 was inserted vaginally. We also tried him inside me vaginally while the vibrator was in my ass, and it felt good but not to the same degree. Mating press worked well for this combo, but the external stimulator poked him a bit in this position with the tip of the vibrator facing my belly button.
For my anatomy, Oly 2 is best served vaginally while standing up, for both solo and partner play. There is a decent amount of flexibility to the external clit stimulator, but I couldn’t ever quite get it comfortably placed in any other position. I tried the vibrator sitting, lying on my back, my side and on my front, but I just kept going back to standing with the vibe inserted. The egg reaches my g-spot well, but I just kept feeling like it wasn’t quite enough unless I was standing.
One of the features of Oly 2 that I was pretty excited about was the pressure control. According to HPB’s website, Oly 2 “features built-in pressure sensors for dynamic vibrations.” The only ever vibrator I’ve tried with this was the Together Vibes remote control double rabbit vibe, which I did not review and did not make the international move with me. One of the things I liked about the Together Vibes was the pressure control, because it wasn’t increasing the vibrations I felt when I squeezed down, instead it was increasing the vibrations my partner felt when I squeezed down. It was a fun combination!!
However, the pressure control on Oly 2 was a bit of a let down, comparatively. I didn’t notice any vibration changes when squeezing down on the vibrator internally. When I held the toy in my hand and squeezed, I again did not feel any changes in vibrations. Since I don’t have the strongest of grip strength, I turned to my wife for assistance. After squeezing and poking around on the device, Cassie believes that the sensors are located on the left and right sides of the egg. She noticed that once those sensors are squeezed, the vibrations increase but do not decrease once pressure is released. It seems the tech is there, but is also a bit particular about where the pressure is applied.
Though Oly 2 does have app control, I don’t really use that feature. I don’t do any camming or streaming, and I’m not a fan of picking up my phone during sex to adjust settings. HoneyPlayBox does have Vibe-Connect, which allows users to have interactive cam shows, and works with Chaturbate, MyFreeCams, CamSoda, Joystick.tv and more.
Another feature that Oly 2 boasts is the Vaginal Temperature Detection. While the vibrator was powered on and connected to the app, I could not find the temperature detection anywhere. Even after updating the app to the latest version, the temperature was nowhere to be found.
I also noticed a glitch or bug of sorts within the app. While trying to find the temperature detection information, if I exited out of the device control, I was not able to reconnect without restarting the app entirely.

- I could not find the vaginal temperature detection anywhere in the app.
My Final Thoughts on Oly 2 by HoneyPlayBox
Once I found which positions worked best for me to use the Oly 2 wearable vibrator by HoneyPlayBox, I really loved using the vibrator. My favorite way to wear it was vaginally while standing up, both with and without double penetration. As a butt plug, the vibrator just wasn’t really right for me, potentially because I do not have a prostate so the bulbous head is just there rather than pressing against a pleasure spot. Oly 2 is far from perfect and the HoneyPlayBox app definitely needs some work, but even with that in mind… I still really enjoyed using the vibrator.
I think Oly 2 is a great option for someone who enjoys strap-on topping and/or double penetration. Others may find that Oly 2 is more comfortable for their anatomy, but I have pretty large labia that hide my clitoris so some wearable vibrators like this one aren’t always a great option for me. Exhibitionists and those who cam/stream may also have a lot of fun using the app-controlled vibrator from HoneyPlayBox!
