I want to take things to the next level. Let’s go a little deeper together. Let’s explore new depths with The Night King Dildo by Uberrime. It’s ready and waiting for us… are you ready too?

Uberrime is one of my favorite shops that makes handmade sex toys. Not only are their products thoughtfully designed, but they’re also very queer and trans friendly, they love supporting sex workers, and they’re based in my birth city, Orlando, Florida. All of their toys made in-house are made with platinum cure silicone, so everything you buy from them is hypoallergenic, latex-free, phthalate-free, and non-porous.

The Basics of Uberrime’s The Night King Dildo

Game of Thrones fans, this one is for you! Uberrime’s The Night King Dildo is inspired by the GoT character of the same name, complete with some extra texture to the extra long humanoid dildo. The phallic head is really where the most of the humanoid design stays, because once you make it past the prominent coronal ridge, the texture grows tall. The high-profile, asymmetrical texture runs horizontally up the shaft, which has a dramatic curve. Designed for a-spot stimulation, the Night King is ideal for depth play, externally as a grinder, or by using the extra length as a handle.

The Night King is available in one size, though you do have the option to either purchase a ready made in 12a firmness in one of three colorations, or you can customize your own. By customizing your own, you can choose from 5 different firmness options and 1-3 colors, with the option for a vac-u-lock or bullet vibrator port added to the base. I opted for the recommended 8a, with a vac-u-lock port in the Coquet Colorway (Nebula Purple, Red, and NOLA Purple). The squish levels of 8a feels pretty close to 00-50, maybe marginally more firm. During squish tests, it was difficult to distinguish between 8a and 00-50.

The fantasy dildo has the following dimensions:

  • Total length: 9″ / 22.86cm
  • Insertable length: 8″ / 20.32cm
  • Head diameter: 1.67″ / 4.24cm
  • Average shaft diameter: 1.7″ / 4.32cm
  • Maximum diameter: 1.91″ / 4.83cm
  • O-ring size: 2″ / 5.08cm

Care Instructions for The Night King by Uberrime

All over Uberrime’s made-in-house products are made with platinum cure silicone, which means that cleaning The Night King is very straight forward. Using warm water and an unscented soap that does not contain silicone, rinse the fantasy dildo, lather it up with soap and gently run a finger in any nooks and crannies, then rinse again with warm water. Allow the dildo to fully dry away from direct sunlight before you store it.

If you need a quick option for drying the dildo, I suggest using a lint-free cloth to pat dry the dildo, then store it in a plastic bag with a silica packet to soak up any remaining moisture. Zip-lock style plastic bags are fine for storing silicone sex toys in, just don’t store any other sex toys in the same bag unless the other toys are also made with platinum cure silicone. Don’t store TPE, latex, or other porous materials with your silicone!

Silicone is a non-porous material, which means it can be actually sterilized. This comes in handy if you’ve shown symptoms of an infection, if you’re sharing toys with a new partner, switching a toy from anal use to vaginal use, or if you’re buying/selling a toy on the second-hand market. Since there aren’t any motorized parts inside of The Night King, you can use heat to sterilize! Here are a few of the options you have for sterilizing your sex toys:

  • boil in a pot of water for up to 10 minutes, using tongs to make sure the toy isn’t resting against the sides or base of the pot
  • bake in a preheated oven set to 350F / 180C on a lined baking sheet for 10 minutes
  • run through the dishwasher on a Sanitize cycle without detergent and without dirty dishes
  • give it a bleach bath in 10% bleach, 90% water for up to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water

If you do get a vac-u-lock or bullet vibrator port on the base of your sex toy, be careful removing the adapter or vibrator from the port hole. I recommend inserting whichever with a bit of water-based lube on the walls of the port. When you’re done, remove the adapter or vibrator from the hole promptly and do not let it sit overnight, as this can make it difficult to remove the following day. To remove an adapter or vibrator, gently pull the base of the dildo away from the inserted piece to break the seal, then gently wiggle it out of the port. Do not just pull it out, as this can damage the dildo!

Testing Uberrime’s The Night King

I’ve had Uberrime’s The Night King dildo on my radar for a while, so when they asked if I’d like some more toys to review, I made a point to ask for one. The overall design appealed to me: a humanoid-ish shape with horizontal texture that didn’t look sharp or pointed, plus a juicy coronal ridge and secondary ridge. It’s long enough for both anal and vaginal depth play, so I’d hoped my wife would also have interest in it.

Cassie’s Night King Experiences (Anal Use)

Thankfully, my hope was well placed, because upon arrival of the care package with The Night King fantasy dildo in it, Cassie’s eyes grew big and I could see her curiosity piqued. Using it on my wife was a delight, both while hand-pumping and with it in a strap-on harness. Cassie is a fan of highly textured toys and she loves long strokes, so The Night King was an excellent option for her. There’s a whole lot of length to this dildo, making it very easy to pull most of the way out before sliding back in, with each thrust eliciting a pleasurable response from her.

Cassie had a strong preference for the vac-u-lock port being plugged, which thankfully, Uberrime makes a port plug for that very purpose. The plug does stick out slightly from the base of the toy, as it’s designed to do. I don’t love the feeling of the port plug pressing into my body while strap-on topping, so I tend to prefer doing so with a little bit of padding between it and my skin. Using a neoprene stabilizer in pouch of my RodeoH harness behind the base of the dildo worked well enough that it didn’t feel quite as irritating.

While thrusting the dildo into her by hand, I would often skip using the port plug in leu of inserting a finger into the port. This gave me a better sense of stability and grip on the dildo, which is really nice with such a long toy. Thrusting the Night King Dildo into her by hand was also easier for me to deliver shorter, more shallow strokes so I could hit her prostate, resulting in multiple prostate orgasms.

My wife’s enjoyment of The Night King only built up my own excitement to take the dildo for a test drive. After properly cleaning the toy, I was finally able to test it out myself.

My Night King Experiences (Vaginal Use)

For me, as a vaginal user, The Night King’s texture took a bit to get comfortable with. Though the ridges aren’t sharp, they are high profile and they run horizontally up the shaft, both of which make them very noticeable during use. They’re also not perfectly symmetrical by design, and asymmetrical texture isn’t always The Thing For Me. Anticipating this, I took my time with The Night King, and I started my testing by simply inserting it and leaving it while using a vibrator externally.

Cockwarming the long fantasy dildo was really nice, especially when starting out with The Night King. By allowing my body time to adjust to the texture first, I was able to comfortably and pleasurably have the dildo thrust into me later in the same session. The texture ended up feeling fantastic, though even when I was fully aroused, I still needed to start slow when thrusting with it. Cockwarming tended to work best before starting to thrust with it, but slow strokes that gradually added more length were also an enjoyable way to build up.

The extra length on The Night King comes in handy when thrusting the dildo into myself. My big belly and short arms combo makes it so certain positions are easier or harder for thrusting, but I didn’t encounter quite as many challenging positions when using this dildo. I didn’t always need it going deep, sometimes I just wanted shallow thrusts for hitting my g-spot, and the length of the dildo made it much easier to achieve.

Getting the vac-u-lock hole has worked out really well in my favor when it comes to The Night King. It made attaching it to an ergonomic handle or fuck machine feel more stable than using a double-sided suction cup. Given the length of the fantasy dildo, the added stability was really great. The fantasy dildo does still droop a bit, which is expected with the medium-soft silicone firmness. Perhaps a firmer silicone would prevent some of that droop, though I imagine it still wouldn’t hold the curve shape.

Though I do have a vac-u-lock to suction cup adapter, I didn’t try riding up and down because of the length. I found that the adapter was great for using the silicone dildo in the shower, where I would suction it to the wall for a standing “ride.” The length of the dildo was also really helpful in this usage, because shorter dildos are sometimes not quite long enough to get past my thick thighs and butt unless I’m bending at the waist. I was able to use the Uberrime dildo either bent at the waist or not, depending on what kind of sensations I wanted while using it in the shower.

Going Even Deeper with Night King Dildo (Vaginal Depth Play)

Deep vaginal penetration is somewhat new for me when it comes to sex toys. I’ve had plenty of deep vaginal penetration for my spicier work, but there’s a difference in sensation between a human penis and a silicone dildo or other type of sex toy. Cervical stimulation hasn’t always felt good to me, but as I’m aging and taking a slower approach to it, I’m finding myself getting really, really into it. The Night King dildo is definitely helping me explore a-spot stimulation more and more.

The a-spot is the anterior fornix erogenous zone, located within the vagina on the inner wall. It’s deep within the vagina, next to or under the cervix. It’s also not the only spot to try to hit when it comes to vaginal depth play! There’s also the posterior fornix stimulation, which is below and past the cervix. Both spots are stretchy pockets of space around the cervix. When aroused, these areas relax and may expand. A fellow toy enthusiast, Vulpes, created a diagram demonstrating stimulation of these areas, and if you’re curious about vaginal depth play, I suggest checking it out!

Vaginal depth play is possible, though I do recommend training and going slow, as it can take some getting used to. The orgasms from vaginal depth play are different than a g-spot orgasm, and may lead to better natural lubrication for some bodies. At first, I wasn’t a huge fan of depth play, but as I’ve both learned more and practiced more, I’m now seeking out more of it. My orgasms from depth play are mind-blowing, toe curling, leaving me speechless.

Pros:

  • designed for depth play, both anally and vaginally
  • rounded ripples provide ample stimulation
  • extra long shaft can also be held onto for more shallow thrusting
  • available as a ready made or custom your own
  • available with an optional vac-u-lock or vibrator port when customizing
  • part realistic dildo, part fantasy dildo
  • made with platinum cure silicone
  • can be used to grind against externally
  • anal safe
  • harness compatible
  • easy to clean and sterilize

Cons:

  • bullet vibrator or vac-u-lock ports make the lower part of the shaft squish more
  • high profile, asymmetrical texture isn’t for everyone
  • silicone has some static electricity that causes hair, dust, lint, etc to stick to the surface
  • softer silicones may not stand upright quite as well as firmer silicones

My Final Thoughts on Uberrime’s The Night King Dildo

I had a feeling that I’d enjoy The Night King Dildo by Uberrime, even with the asymmetrical texture. Though it took me some time to get used to the feeling of the texture, I’m glad I was patient and kept trying because the pleasure this dildo has helped me achieve is fantastic. It’s helped me further embrace vaginal depth play, with countless orgasms enjoyed. My wife loves the long shaft that allows me to give her the long strokes she desires during anal penetration. Overall, there’s a lot to love about the dildo, and I’m really glad that I requested one to test!

If you’re curious about depth play, whether anal or vaginal, The Night King Dildo is a delicious option. The texture may be too stimulating for some users, but softer firmness options like 00-20 or 00-50 may be more comfortable for those who aren’t as comfortable with texture.
