First, Let’s Talk About Uncover Creations
Based in the UK, Uncover Creations was started by two friends who were tired of generic, mass-produced sex toys. Then, customers like you & I, get to choose a toy and customize it to our preferences. What we receive is a body-safe silicone sex toy, hand-poured with pigments to create something special.

They have 5 different firmness options, and include a video at the top of the page comparing the firmness levels by squeezing some of their eggs. You may remember me mentioning Uncover Creations before, and that’s because they’re awesome. Before this review, I owned two toys from them: the Tentacle Grinder II and the Tentacle Ovipositor, but now I’ve got a few more to share with you, starting with the Equiknot!
Meet The Equiknot Dildo by Uncover Creations
If you’re a fan of equine themed fantasy dildos, The Equiknot is an excellent addition to a collection. With a slightly curved and flared head, the dildo also features a medial ring and a knot. It is a fully customizable dildo model offered by Uncover Creations, available in 4 sizes, 4 firmness options, 6 color styles and 2 base options (base options are not available on the X-Small size).
I got a size small in a medium firmness with a marble color style in Moonkissed and Violet, all with a flat base. The size small is 5.5″ in total length with an insertable length of 4.7″. The flared tip has a circumference of 2.4″, 3.7″ on the shaft, and a knot of 5.9″. I could handle most of the medium size, but I wanted that knot and there is almost a full inch of difference in knot circumference between the two sizes, making it a bit larger than I can handle. Make sure you pay attention to sizes as you order!
The overall design of the Equiknot doesn’t have a ton of texture: the slightly curved tip has some texture, the medial ring, and the knot are the main texture points. But you won’t find any extra ridges, bumps or other types of texture. I’d go so far as to say that Equiknot is a good beginner friendly knot toy for those who want to experience a medial ring and knot.
How to Care for Silicone Sex Toys
One of my favorite things about silicone dildos is how easy they are to clean. I mean, seriously, they’re so easy and you have multiple options available! The quickest and easiest is washing with warm water and a non-silicone based soap (an unscented dish soap, for example). This is all you’ll really need if you’re using water-based lubricants. Wash before and after use, and allow to dry thoroughly before storing.
The deeper cleaning methods are great if you’re using an oil-based lubricant or you just feel the need for something a bit more. You can boil for 5-10 minutes in water. You can run it through the dishwasher without detergent. You can soak in a 10% bleach to water mixture (just don’t boil bleach!).
Uncover Creations does say that their toys are compatible with silicone-based lubricants, and even offers a free replacement if your toy is damaged by silicone lube.
They recommend storing your toy in an air-tight plastic box after thoroughly cleaning & drying. You can store your toys with other silicone toys, but non-silicone toys can damage your toy. If you’re unsure about whether other toys are silicone or not, it’s best to store your toy separately.
Using The Equiknot
Before my big move, I gave away the equine fantasy dildo that I owned, so I was on the look out for something new. When I reached out to Uncover Creations about a soon to be shared project that I’m working on, they offered to let me pick out additional product to review and I had to grab The Equiknot. And my gosh, I am really glad that I did!!
The first time I used it was on camera for an unboxing review that is going up on my PornHub channel, and while I didn’t achieve orgasm in that video, I have used Equiknot & orgasmed multiple times since then. The shape is so nice and the texture is not overstimulating, but when it comes to the knot, I have struggled a bit to take it all. Sometimes, I’m able to take it without warm up, sometimes it’s just too girthy for me.
My favorite part of this dildo is the tip though. It’s every so slightly flared, with a bit of a curve to it, making it perfect for g-spot or p-spot stimulation. The shape of the tip is also one that I really enjoy and I find it’s quite easy to take. Feeling it hit my g-spot is blissful af!
The size of the base for the small Equiknot is another nice feature of this dildo, because it’s large enough that the dildo is anal friendly, but not so large that a partner can’t get around it while going down on me. I’m a big big fan of my wife going down on me while dildo fucking me, so I’m always keeping an eye out for bases that allow her to do so comfortably.
Because I got a size small Equiknot, I have not tried this dildo on my wife (#SizeQueenProblems), so I can’t speak to how well it handles in a harness. But I can tell you that the base is comfortable to hold in hand and an o-ring would fit over the knot without worry about it popping off the base.
My favorite way of using the Equiknot solo was sliding it in and using a vibrator on my clit. That dual stimulation always gets me! Using a vibe on my clit also helped my body relax enough to take the knot with some ease. I found it easiest to knot myself when I used a pussy plug earlier in the day or did some stretching prior to sex.
When mine arrived, I did notice a small “defect” of sorts: I can see lines from the 3D printed mould, though they are not pronounced enough to really feel them. At first, I thought it might just be the silicone ribbons from the pigment, but upon closer inspection, they are lines that are were not fully sanded down. This isn’t a huge deal to me – it’s only noticeable when you inspect it closely in a well lit room and I can’t feel the texture. It’s just something I noticed.
Pros:

Cons:
- Silicone does have a lot of drag and is sticky
- I can see the lines from the 3D printed mould, as if they didn’t fully sand it it down
Final Thoughts on Uncover Creations Equiknot
Using the Equiknot dildo by Uncover Creations is a lot of fun. I loved imagining how the pour I requested would come out, and when it finally showed up, I swooned over it. I love the marbled violet and shimmery dark grey (almost black!). The medium firmness works really well for me, though it is a bit more firm than I usually do at Shore 10-A.
