When it comes to powerful vibrators, BMS knows how to pack a punch. It was no surprise to me that the first time I tested out the BMS Monarch Swan vibrator that it was almost too much power. At first glance, the Monarch Swan is gorgeous. The deep jade color is unique and partnered with the gold chrome accent, it’s truly an eye catching toy. When you add in the fact that it transforms, I was already sold on this sex toy. You can use it as a dual stimulation vibrator, or you can twist it to use only the clitoral or vaginal & g-spot vibrator. Since the Monarch Swan features 3 independently operated motors, you can truly customize your pleasure.

Each of the motors provides different pleasures: 5 vibration functions on the vaginal & g-spot vibrator, 5 suction patterns on the clitoral suction head, and 5 fluttering tongue patterns on the clitoral head. I got overwhelmed trying the suction and the tongue at the same time, but using one or the other with the vaginal vibrator inserted was absolute bliss.

How to Use:

Each of the motors operates independently, which really does give you the option to customize your pleasure. The internal vibrator and the tongue each have 3 steady speeds and 2 patterns, while the suction only has 5 patterns or rhythms – 1 speed and 4 patterns. I like using the internal vibrator & tongue together the most!

I can’t overstate how much lube matters with this toy. I tried using the suction head both with and without lube, and without lube it wasn’t nearly as comfortable or pleasurable to use. Plus, it’s silicone, and while BMS has a silky smooth silicone, there is still a slight amount of drag that lube helps overcome.

As with many dual-stimulation toys, your anatomy matters in how much you like using it as a dual-stimulator. It overall worked for me, though it took me a little bit of time to properly find the most comfortable position for it to sit that hit the right spots.

The Monarch Swan is not fully waterproof – you shouldn’t submerge in water when the suction is running. It is water-resistant (IPX6), though! You can take it in the shower, but I’d skip taking it in the bath.

When it comes to charging, the Monarch Swan ships with a magnetic USB charging cable that you can plug into a charging base (not included). It takes up to 90 minutes to charge, depending on how much charge is left in battery. Fully charged, you can use the Monarch Swan for up to 80 minutes of playtime, though using all 3 motors at once may make that a shorter period.

Since it’s made with body-safe silicone & is water-resistant, the Monarch Swan is really easy to clean. I prefer to use a toy cleaner over normal hand soap, as toy cleaners are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and specifically made to help keep your toys in good condition for longer. Simply get the vibrator wet then pump some toy cleaner on, give it a quick rub down by hand, then rinse!

Final Thoughts

The Monarch Swan is a very powerful vibrator, and I was really only able to handle it at the lowest power levels. My preferred way of using the Monarch Swan as with the g-spot vibrations & the fluttering tongue. I’m incredibly sensitive and prone to over-stimulation, especially with dual-stimulation toys, but if you like your vibrators to have a good amount of strength to them you’ll likely enjoy it.

The tongue is a great size and shape for me. It’s not too pointy and not too thin, though I do wish it had a little extra length.

I only tested this toy on myself, by myself. I tend to avoid most dual-stimulation toys for partnered play,  and this one was no exception to that. It’s perfect if you want to lay back and relax, letting the toy do all the work.
