Ever since my first grinder, I’ve loved grinders. I started with Uberrime’s Alia, then Uncover Creations’ Tentacle Grinder II, then motorized grinders from CalExotics and Orion. Each grinder I’ve tried has brought me intense pleasure, though each in a different and unique way. And each grinder has made me excited to try the next.
So when I saw NS Novelties Inya Grinder at ANME last summer, I was so excited! At the time, I hadn’t seen a grinder that both vibrated and had a flexible cock ring. I still haven’t found any other options for a vibrating grind pad with a cock ring, making the Inya Grinder a special find.
I’ll rewind a little bit.
What is a grinder or grind pad? A grinder, or grind pad, is a sex toy that is usable hands free to hump or grind against. Some grinders are motorized, while some are not. Some have straps to make it easier to grind against a partner’s thigh or on a pillow, while some do not. They can be used solo or with a partner as a means of external stimulation, though there are options available that have an insertable part too, such as CalExotics’ Lust Dual Rider or Orion’s VibePad 3.
I love grinders. Depending on the model, they’re great for solo play, partner play and group play!
Now, back to the Inya Grinder!
The Inya Grinder is a vibrating grind pad with a flexible hole to fit your partner’s penis or a dildo. It has 3 steady speeds plus 6 vibration patterns, all of which can be controlled via an app. It’s water-resistant and USB rechargeable. And, it’s made with incredibly soft, body safe silicone.
The dimensions are 5.9″ long, 4.1″ wide, and 1″ thick. The humpable portion is just over 3.5″ in length. The penis/dildo hole has a circumference of 4.17″, but does have some decent stretch to it.
In my attempt to stretch the hole to its limit, I grabbed Mr Hankey’s large Dildos & Dragons model, which has an 8.4″ circumference in the middle, which is about as far down as I could stretch the ring. Now, since I don’t have a penis, I can’t say how tight of a squeeze this is, but I’m imagining that it may be too tight for long term comfort.
This softness of the silicone is really my favorite part of the Inya Grinder. It’s substantially softer than the other motorized grinders on the market, offering far more flexibility than the grind pad offerings from CalExotics and Orion. The soft silicone has very little drag to it, and gosh… it just feels nice.
To turn on the Inya Grinder by NS Novelties, you’ll press and hold the power button on the bottom of the grinder for 2 seconds until the light blinks to enter standby mode, then press again to cycle through the 3 speeds and 6 vibration patterns. Thankfully, you can control this via the LoveSpouse app, which is available for both Google Play and App Store.
The app offers game mode, video mode, music model, draw, shake and interactive. The interactive mode allows users to play with a partner who’s also downloaded the app. The app isn’t great, but it is functional and makes it easier to switch modes instead of reaching around to press the button while it’s attached to someone or a dildo.
Cleaning the Inya Grinder is very easy, because it is IPX7 Waterproof, meaning it is rated for 30 minutes of immersion at a maximum depth of 3ft. To clean it, use a toy cleaner or anti-bacterial hand soap to thoroughly wash the ripples.

My experiences:
When it comes to usage and my experience, I got to try this out both on the receiving end and the giving end. I did find that I needed to use this in specific positions to enjoy this, but once I found those positions, whew. I really enjoyed the Inya Grinder!
I tried the Inya Grinder with a dildo in a few different positions, both with and without the Liberator BonBon. I did find that the BonBon put the position of the Inya Grinder just right for me, without my having to hold it against my clit. I found that was an easier way to enjoy it vs putting it on a suction cup dildo in either my shower or my bathtub to rock against, but that is likely due to my personal aversion to masturbating in the shower or bathtub if it involves having to work too much.
When it comes to sex with a partner…
For vulva havers, you’ll want the grind pad positioned to rub against the clit. So in missionary, you’ll want it above your partner’s penis, whereas in doggystyle, you’ll want it downwards resting on/above the testicles. I enjoyed using this while riding in cowgirl as well!
When it came to topping using the Inya Grinder, I had it secured to the dildo I was using to strap-on penetrate my partner, a trans woman who has a penis. We found that the best position for using it was while she was in doggystyle, so that the grinder was resting against her perineum.
Final thoughts
I’d give the Inya Grinder a 7 out of 10. I personally would enjoy more texture to grind against, as I do tend to enjoy pinpointed pleasure and the ripples just aren’t quite enough. Even with that being the case, NS Novelties did a great job designing the Inya Grinder. The medium strength vibrations are really pleasurable. The dildo/penis hole and soft silicone really set this apart from other vibrating grind pads in the best way possible.
The price point makes the Inya Grinder an affordable option as well, currently going for $54.99 on Peepshow Toys at the time I’m writing this ($75.99 when it’s not on sale).
