Le Wand Rechargeable Vibrating Massager Review

Have you seen the Le Wand rechargeable vibrator massager? I recommend considering it if you’re in the market for a magic wand vibrator!

Magic wand vibrators are one of the most popular types of vibrators for a reason! They’re powerful, great for using with a partner, and easy to use during solo time. It seems every major toy manufacturer has at least one wand style vibrator in their catalog, so narrowing the options down is quite a challenge! Don’t worry, though. I’m happy to share my experience with wands with you!

So, let’s chat about Le Wand Rechargeable Vibrating Massager!

The Basics

Le Wand‘s rechargeable vibrator is a body-safe, rechargeable wand with 10 rumbly vibration speeds and 20 vibration patterns. It’s available in black, white, grey, magenta, pacific blue, and purple, and measures 13.39″ long with a 2.44″ diameter massage head. It weighs about 1.5 lbs, making it slightly heavier than the Magic Wand Rechargeable. I opted to get the magenta Le Wand Rechargeable.

I think the design is sexy and luxurious. Metallic ABS plastic lines the head and the top of the handle. You’ll find 3 buttons to control the wand, about midway on the handle. It looks stunning, but it doesn’t differentiate much from other wands beyond the wider variety of color options than some wands on the market. In fact, it looks quite similar to the Magic Wand Rechargeable. In comparing the two wands, the MWR has a shorter head, though the diameter is almost identical.

Magic Wand Rechargeable (top) and Le Wand Rechargeable (bottom) are almost identical in design, though Le Wand manages to add a level of visible luxury that the Magic Wand is missing

You’ll find a travel bag, toy guide, product manual, and charging plug with attachments for international usage. This makes it a perfect wand for travelers! Of all the wands I’ve purchased or been gifted, this is the only one to include a travel bag & international travel plug attachments. Given that I have a big international move in my near future, I’m so glad that I don’t have to worry about getting a new charger or plugging into a converter & frying the wand! I already have everything I need to bring the Le Wand rechargeable vibe with me.

The packaging for Le Wand rechargeable vibrating massager is on the thick side, but it is sturdy and makes for a luxurious unboxing. I think it makes for a lovely gift because its design is clean, stylish, and easy to wrap.

Charging time is about 3 hours, which Le Wand states will last for up to 3 hours. I’ve found that if I’m using it on lower power levels, I can extend that a bit. Perhaps about an extra 30 minutes of run time. When charging, a light will flash around the buttons. Once the light is solid, the vibrator is fully charged.

The rechargeable Le Wand vibrator is made with body-safe silicone on the head and ABS plastic on the handle. To clean the Le Wand rechargeable vibrator, use either a toy cleaning wipe or a damp cloth and a mild antibacterial soap to wipe the toy down. After wiping it down with a damp cloth and soap, use a damp cloth to remove all soap residue and allow the toy to dry.

Le Wand Rechargeable is splashproof only. It cannot be submerged in water, though you can use it in the shower. I personally shy away from using toys in the shower if they are not properly waterproof, but I might just be a little paranoid of frying a vibe.

Pros:

  • 6 beautiful & luxurious color options
  • Includes international plug attachments & travel case
  • Easy to switch between vibration speeds & patterns
  • Powerful
  • Great for non-sexual massages
  • Flexible neck
  • Travel lock

Cons:

  • Copy-cat design of MWR
  • Not as rumbly as advertised
  • Louder than MWR
  • Quite pricey at $179.99

How to Use Le Wand Rechargeable Vibrating Massager

Using the Le Wand Rechargeable is incredibly easy. Once it’s fully charged, use the “+” button to turn on. The same button will cycle through all of the 10 speed intensities. The middle button is for the vibration patterns. To turn off the Le Wand Rechargeable, press the “-” button until the vibrator turns off.

To turn on the travel lock, press the “+” and “-” buttons together for 3 seconds. To unlock, press the same buttons again and a flashing light will indicate that the vibrator is unlocked.

My experience

I keep two wands in my nightstand, this one and the Blush Wellness Eternal Wand. It’s a good wand and the power is perfect, for me. That being said, I do tend to use Le Wand Rechargeable with one of the wand attachments that Le Wand makes. My favorite attachments when using the wand on myself are the Flick and Flexi. When using the wand on my trans wife, she prefers it without an attachment, or the Ripple or Flick.

As a plus size person, I do like toys with handles because it makes them easier to hold. However, I do prefer the curved & elongated handle of the Blush Wellness Eternal Wand a bit more than the Le Wand Rechargeable. I find most wand handles, including LWR, to be a little less comfortable to hold for long periods, though still better than some vibes without a handle.

When it comes to vibration transfer, I find that the further away from the head that I hold the wand, the less vibration transfer I feel. If I’m holding it closer to the head, which is sometimes more comfortable when using it on a partner, I end up with the dreaded vibration fingers.

I tend to only use the lower speeds on Le Wand Rechargeable, but I’m also a fan of more pinpointed pleasure than wands are able to provide. Since wands generally have a wider surface area, the stimulation is distributed differently than my preferences. If I am using Le Wand Rechargeable, it’s usually over panties or clothing so as not to overstimulate myself to the point of tapping out too early.

That being said, my trans wife loves wands, with or without a clothing barrier. It’s excellent to press against her perineum or the tip of her girl cock. She prefers the rumblier motor of the MWR over the buzzier motor of LWR, but is happy to use either one.

Occasionally, I find myself using this wand on my various aches and pains. It’s great for neck massages and for helping get rid of bruises quickly.

I do achieve orgasm when using the Le Wand Rechargeable, though the intensity of vibrations and the lack of pinpoint stimulation makes it a bit more of a challenge for me to orgasm in comparison to other vibrators, such as a bullet vibe. I know other people love and prefer wands, to which I say: to each their own.

Final Thoughts

Le Wand Rechargeable is a powerful wand, and I love that it comes in a variety of colors. I think that the cost is high, especially when the MWR is $130, though it is a much more luxurious look than the MWR. It makes for a beautiful gift, especially for travel lovers.

Is it the best wand on the market? Maybe, maybe not. I haven’t tried enough wands to confidently lean in either direction. But I do know that of the 10+ wand vibrators that I own, this is 1 of 2 that I enjoy enough to keep in my nightstand.
