When I opened up the first box from Blush, I was shocked. I knew this was the dildo I had picked out, but I didn’t realize that *this* was the dildo I picked out. To a novice sex toy user, Lycan from Blush’s The Realm collection might be a bit intimidating. It’s 10.5 inches long and girthy AF with a 2 inch width. It did me a heckin’ shock. 

But when I slid it out of the packaging, I knew everything was going to be just fine. Better than fine, in fact. 

Lycan has a texture that I instantly fell in love with. I already swoon for the smooth silicone that Blush’s Avant line uses, but how was I to know it could get better? There was no drag as I slid my hand down the shaft, leaving me excited to give this monster a try. 

Oh. Ahem. Sorry, I got distracted. There’s still more inside that box. 

The Realm collection has a couple interesting toy attachments, specifically sword handles. If you’ve never taken your phallic shaped sex toys for a wave around in the air while making light saber noises, are you even living? I mean really, a dildo sword fight has been a dream custom of mine for years now. 

And with Blush’s Drago and Rougarou vac-u-lock dildo sword handles, that’s now a thing that I can *actually* do. 

The Rougarou handle has a delightful weight to it that feels easy to hold while giving me a sense of sturdiness. But… how does it feel with the Lycan attached? Heavier, but in a good way. Using this combo to penetrate a partner is going to be the arm workout I’ve been putting off for a while. The sturdiness of the two products gave me a sense of better control than using a dildo without a handle or one without a big enough base for me to comfortably grip. 

When I tried Rougarou and Lycan together during some well deserved solo fun, I was surprised that Rougarou didn’t make masturbation more difficult. I’ve got short little t-rex arms and wasn’t sure I’d be able to use the sword handles for solo play. The extra weight meant that when I wasn’t pumping the toy, it had enough weight to hit that sweet spot and hold still while I moved my hips. 

Ok so what about the Drago handle? 

NGL, if Blush made the Drago handle into a dildo, ya girl would use it.

Drago’s alternative style did make it less comfortable for using on my own, mainly because I couldn’t quite grip it with the two adornments that stick out from the handle. For me, using Drago is definitely better with a partner! The weight is similar to Rougarou, with neither being too heavy to use comfortably for extended periods of time. 

The handles are nice and all, but I think ya’ll came here for the Lycan review. 

Lycan is a big boy, definitely bigger than what I would recommend for a first time user. He’s got both length and girth, and both are fantastic. The material is butter soft and smooth with virtually no drag. I grabbed my favorite water based lube and slid him in slowly. Lycan has a bit more girth than what I use and he felt gooooooood as he filled me up. He’s got some realistic looking veins that run along the shaft, which felt fantastic! 

The base of Lycan is thick and easy to hold on to, even for someone like me who has these itty bitty lil hands. I love bases like this – they make holding much easier and give me a little extra length to work around my belly when using a strap-on harness to penetrate my partner. I love that it’s got a vac-u-lock hole on it since that means I can use it with my fuck machine, with a harness, or a vac-u-lock suction cup.  

If you aren’t sure how to care for non-powered silicone dildos: warm water with soap, boiling, dishwasher on top shelf, or a small amount of bleach added to warm water. Silicone should always be cleaned between uses.
