Beginners beware! The Maia Tegan Jump-Thrusting suction cup dildo is not for everyone. This intense vibrator is a lot to handle, and that’s a good thing.
The Basics
Maia Tegan Jump-Thrusting suction cup dildo is a harness compatible thrusting toy with a remote. Featuring 3 speeds, Tegan is ready to jump into your bed and rock your world. Maia Tegan not only thrusts, but also vibrates as well. Thrusting and vibrations happen simultaneously and are not independently operated, something that I’d suggest Maia do with future versions of this particular vibrating dildo.
Made with body-safe, nonporous silicone, Tegan is 9.3″ long, with an insertable length of 6″. It’s 1.5″ wide. It has a phallic design, but it’s not particularly realistic. Maia Tegan is a wonderful shade of hot pink, and the ABS plastic remote matches perfectly.
Designed with a similar shape to gyroscopic vibrators, I was surprised to learn that Maia Tegan is not a gyroscopic dildo. Instead, it jump thrusts, and does so at a similar speed to the gyroscopic vibes out there. It doesn’t have as much back & forth motion the way gyroscopic dildos do, but the motion is just as intense once it’s inserted. The up & down motion isn’t as dramatic as fuck machines, but gosh does this baby thrust.
The suction cup on Maia Tegan is pretty strong, and easy to pop into an o-ring strap-on harness. Unless I was suctioning Tegan to a wall or piece of furniture, I actually struggled keeping it in place. I attached it to my TOM dildo mount, only to have it thrust itself away from my body. I imagine that if I had the weighted add-on for TOM, this may not have been a problem.
Maia Tegan is water-resistant/splashproof, but is not fully waterproof submersible. You can still wash it with your preferred toy cleaner or mild soap under running water. Maia Toys recommends using water-based or hybrid lubricants on Tegan.
Included in the box is a charging cord, which plugs in just above the round motor on the opposite side from the power button. The remote control is also rechargeable, with a charging port on the bottom underside of the remote.

How to Use Maia Tegan Jump-Thrusting Suction Cup Dildo
Maia Tegan can be used with or without the remote. My personal recommendation is to use this thrusting dildo with the remote for easy power changes.
To use without the remote, press the power button for 3 seconds to turn Tegan on. Press and release the button to cycle through the 3 speeds. To turn Tegan off, hold the power button down for 3 seconds.
To use with the remote, turn Tegan on using the button on the shaft, then press the power button on the remote control. Use the wavy line button on the remote to cycle through the 3 speeds. You’ll need to turn off both the remote and the vibrating dildo by holding each of the power buttons for 3 seconds.
My Experience with Maia Tegan
I wasn’t too sure about Maia Tegan at first. I’ve used fuck machines before. I’ve used thrusting dildos before. I’ve used gyroscopic vibrators before. But I hadn’t used anything quite like this one on my own before, so I had to give it a couple of tries. I started with it on my TOM suction dildo mount, which ended up being too lightweight and the power of the thrusts & vibes ended up moving it away from where I needed it. I had to put a heavier object behind it to keep it from vibrating out of me.
For some reason, I tried hand holding it, though in my brain I kept asking myself “why would you try this?” When powered up, I did not enjoy hand holding this. The vibration transfer was a bit too much for me to handhold comfortably, so I’d recommend not trying unless you like your whole arm shaking along with the vibrator.
I found that the best place to use Maia Tegan was either in the shower or suctioned to a plastic chair or other surface that I can easily squat over. I personally preferred more a sitting position rather than bending over, but I’m confident that others would enjoy this in more of a doggystyle position in the shower.
Regardless of the position I was in, I was always really glad to have a remote control at hand. I do wish that there was the ability to turn on both the vibe and the remote without having the vibrations instantly start, but I did find that I could turn both on then quickly hit the power button on the remote to stop the motors until it was inserted and I was ready to go.
I didn’t get the chance to test this in a harness with my partner, but it’s on my to-do list.
Final Thoughts
Though it took a while for me to get accustomed to the powerful vibrations and thrusts, I ended up enjoying the Maia Tegan jump thrusting vibrating dildo. It’s got a lot of power to it, and though there are a few minor changes I’d love to see in future iterations of Maia Tegan, this is a great start.
If Maia Toys ends up reworking the Tegan in the future, I’d love to see independently controlled motors, an “on” but not vibrating option, and a longer battery time.
The silicone is really nice and the suction cup is study. Overall, I’d give this an 7.5 out of 10.
