Spring is here and it’s time to show off a pretty little flower. I know, “florals for spring, how original”, but trust me when I say that you need to know about this indie toy brand: Faux Phallus.
Pardon me & my love for all things botanical, but I think you’re going to like these too.
Enter the Faux Phallus Garden
As creators of unique botanical and creature inspired pieces of silicone art, Faux Phallus is a two person team based in Australia. They’re off the coast of the mainland, situated in Tasmania, where they create some beautiful works of art. Faux Phallus opened shop in 2021, wanting to make something unique in a monster dominated market. A majority of their designs are hand sculpted with clay before they create molds that then turn into unique, hand poured, custom adult toys.
I originally learned about Faux Phallus on Twitter, where a selection of their floral dildos came across my feed. I loved the silicone “bouquet” of flowers, all poured to match with green stems and red buds. They were gorgeous! I gave them a follow, and eventually ordered my first custom piece from them, the Hibiscus dildo, for a Poison Ivy cosplay I planned.
Every single time I saw one of their matching sets posted on socials, I became more and more entranced by Faux Phallus. It didn’t matter if it was their v-plugs or flowers or creatures, their matching sets always caught my eye.

Meet the Frangipani V-Plug
Available in 6 different sizes, the Frangipani v-plug, or pussy plug, was designed specifically for vaginal use (don’t use this anally, as it does not have a flared base). It gives users a feeling of fullness while gently stimulating the g-spot. The heads are all gently rounded to reduce any uncomfortable sensations. The v-plug is smooth at the top and bottom, with texture midway up the plug that is slightly raised, in the shape of frangipani flowers and leaves. The base is small and round, though the larger the size, the larger the base.
Faux Phallus sent me a size small, which measures in at 6 ⅛” in total length, with a max circumference of 6 ⅝” on the shaft and 4 ⅝” on the base. They used Extra Soft 00-30 silicone to make this one, which is the recommended firmness for this size. It’s a single color pour in Seamist, though as you can see in the pictures, there’s quite a bit of depth to it even as a single color.
If you’re keen on a full set, Faux Phallus does offer the Frangipani v-plugs as a full set of 6 at a 20% discount over buying them individually. All 6 sizes are 6 ⅛” long, though the circumferences go from 4 ½” of the extra extra small up to 11 ¾” of the extra extra large. When you order the full set instead of individual plugs, the full set will be made to match, so if you want different colors for each one, you’ll have to order separately.
Care Instructions for Faux Phallus Toys
It’s really important to clean your Frangipani V-plug and all other toys both before and after use. Clean well with warm water and fragrance free soap, or you can boil for 5-10 minutes, or run through the dishwasher without soap. You can also clean with a 1 part bleach/10 parts water mixture, but NEVER BOIL BLEACH!!
When storing your Faux Phallus toys, make sure they aren’t stored against non-silicone toys. If you’re not sure, it’s better to store your Faux Phallus toy in a storage bag or on a flat shelf. Tears can occur, so be careful with sharp objects, biting, or digging into the silicone.
It is recommended to only use water-based or oil-based lubricants with your Faux Phallus toys. Avoid silicone-based lubes, as these can damage the surface of the toy.
My Experiences with Faux Phallus Frangipani V-Plug
I really like pussy plugs, and every time I use one, I end up liking them even more. The first day that I inserted the Frangipani V-Plug by Faux Phallus, I was having an administrative day, so I was sitting at my desk. That may not sound exciting, but I couldn’t help but moving my hips, rocking back & forth regularly. The feeling of fullness that it provided was amazing and I was aroused for hours after pulling it out. Even the slightly raised texture drove me crazy!! I could feel it caressing me and my gosh it was nice 🥵
The base of the Frangipani V-Plug was also really comfortable for long term wear. Unlike the G Squeeze, it has a round base. On the size small, the base is maybe about as wide as a quarter and about an inch long. Larger plugs have larger bases. The base never bothered me or rubbed me the wrong way, regardless of whether I was sitting or moving around.
My favorite time to use pussy plugs is when I’m throwing strap, and this was no exception! I loved the way this one felt while I was strap-on topping my wife, giving me pleasure as I was giving her pleasure. I wasn’t quite able to achieve orgasm while wearing it like this, but it absolutely heightened my pleasure to a point where I thought I might explode if I received any additional stimulation.
I’m also a big fan of wearing pussy plugs while I’m doing housework. Sometimes, pussy plugs give me the sensation that they’re sliding out of me when I’m walking around, so I always pull on tight fitting yoga pants or bike shorts while wearing them. Wearing the Frangipani pussy plug while doing chores also just turned me into a horny mess! 🤭
Usually this would be the point where I’d have pros & cons listed out, but it’s actually really hard to find something to dislike about the Frangipani v-plug. The only “con” I can think of is that soft silicone tends to be a bit sticky so it picks up lint, hair, etc.
Final Thoughts
Frangipani V-Plug by Faux Phallus is a really beautifully designed pussy plug. The texture is light & intricate, so it’s not overwhelming. The base was comfortable for long term wear. The rounded head didn’t feel like it was poking me. It comes in 6 sizes that can be fully customized or even bundled together to save 20%.
As an indie toy company, Faux Phallus is really creating some unique and incredible designs. Each piece I have from them, which is now up to 4 pieces, feels special. No two pours are identical, as the swirls of silicone present themselves a little differently even with the same colorations. Their toys are all on display in my living room, they’re so gorgeous!
