Holy. Moly. Thick, short, and perfect for g-spot stimulation? That’s Wyvern Vault’s Veld in a nutshell. Ever since it arrived, I’ve repeatedly reached for this fantasy dildo for solo play and I don’t know that I’ll stop anytime soon. It’s exactly what I hoped for!

Starting in 2019, Wyverns Vault is a one-person show based out of Manitoba, Canada. Dany, the owner of WV, had a deep interest in fantasy toys and started the company to further explore his passion & find financial independence. His passion not only shows in their gorgeous designs and pours, but has also led to 5 award-nominated designs: Obscura, Nimbus, Jorunn, Auros and Auros’s Maw. In talking with Dany, I learned that Obscura and Auros are also two of WV’s most popular models, and after seeing Bat’s post praising Obscura, I definitely know which model I’ve got my eyes on next.
I think I counted 18 different dildos, packers and v-plugs, plus several squishy designs in their catalog, which is an impressive feat for a single person business. But then, I see his Sakura Cheesecake, Spirit Flame, & Kintsugi pours and my brain practically explodes over how talented Dany is. Each time I’ve browsed through Wyverns Vault’s available inventory or social media feeds, I see so many eye-catching pours and I have to practice some pretty strong impulse control.
Speaking of inventory, Wyverns Vault primarily does inventory drops, but every once in a while they open some guided custom slots. Guided customs are surprises that allow for customers to send a prompt, picture, or color palette and Dany will create something one-of-a-kind based off their interpretation of it. These special guided customs are rare and they go quickly, so the best way to find out if they’re available is by watching their Bluesky account and setting calendar reminders whenever you see that they’ll be open.
Get to Know Wyverns Vault Veld
With a semi-humanoid design, Veld is an anthropomorphic alligator with a smooth texture and a short & stout profile. Veld has three products available: a dildo, a packer, and a mini bust. I got the dildo in a size small with medium 00-50 firmness, so that’s where my focus is today. The dildo is available in 3 sizes, mini, small & medium, while the packer is available in 2 sizes and the bust is currently only available in a single size.
Veld has some scale-like texture that starts mid-shaft and goes down to the base of the dildo. The shaft texture is not very raised and is so gentle that it’s easy to forget it exists. The head shape has a slightly raised coronal ridge and prominent frenulum. The model features a thicker in the middle shaft design that has a raised “vein” that runs from the testicles up to the frenulum. The size small has the following specs:
- Total Length: 5.5″ / 13.97cm
- Usable Length: 4.5″ / 10.16cm
- Minimum Circumference: 5″ / 12.7cm
- Maximum Circumference: 5.8″ / 14.732cm
How to Care for Veld
While Wyverns Vault doesn’t have care instructions on their site, don’t worry! It’s really easy. Before and after using the toy, make sure you give it a good wash with warm water and an unscented, non-silicone soap. The testicles do have some deeper grooves, so you may want to gently run a fingernail through the grooves to make sure there’s no leftover, dried lubricant.
Speaking of lube, water-based lubricant is your safest bet with the body-safe silicone. My personal favorite is System JO’s H2O original or if I want something with a thicker consistency, I reach for their H2O Jelly.
If you find yourself needing to do a deeper clean, soak your Wyverns Vault toy in a 1 part bleach, 10 parts water mixture, or place it in a pot of boiling water for 5-10 minutes, stirring to make sure the toy does not rest against the pot’s sides or bottom. After you clean your toys, let them air dry or gently pat dry with a clean microfiber towel before storing.
My Experiences with Veld
I bought Wyverns Vault’s Veld for one purpose: I wanted a short, thick dildo specifically for solo play. I don’t need repeated penetration or thrusting, but I have orgasms easier, better, and faster when I’m filled up. Recently, my body has really started struggling to achieve orgasm without penetration. My favorite form of masturbation is to insert a dildo and just leave it there while I use external vibrators, but I don’t always need or want a long toy or a toy with texture. Thankfully, Veld has lived up to its intended purpose perfectly. The thicker in the middle shaft is the perfect shape for giving me that really good full feeling in a size that’s not stretching me too much. For me, it’s a really comfortable design and size.
There isn’t a lot of texture on Veld, and what is there is so minimal that I didn’t even notice it while the toy was inserted. Since I’m not thrusting with this toy, that could be why I don’t notice the texture. However, I just think that the shaft texture is so gentle that it’s just not enough to make a difference in how the toy feels. The texture and shape of the head, on the other hand, is very noticeable to me (in a great way).
Veld has a slight curve to it as well, which only serves to benefit that great g-spot stimulation design. The head, plus the curve, plus the size? The length and the firmness? All of it comes together to make a perfect design for me. I’m in love with Veld!
I imagine that people with a prostate would find that Veld’s slight curve helps stimulate the p-spot as well. Because I bought Veld for that single purpose, I honestly have not used it for anything else. I haven’t used it in a harness, I haven’t used it during partner play, my wife hasn’t used it. However, the shaft length is a size that doesn’t work great with my body shape for strap-on topping with it, based on experiences with other short shaft toys. My belly is just too big for throwing strap successfully with this design 🙁
For those who want to try using Veld in a harness, the size small Veld fits in a 2″ o-ring. For a panty style harness, like RodeoH, it’s easy to slide Veld in to a 2″ ring size, and for a strappy harness with fasteners, you may want to put the o-ring on the toy before attaching the fasteners.
When it comes to the pour, I got a hand-painted dildo with leopard spots over a pink, purple and blue fade. There’s some shimmer, and ribboning of the colors that’s really just beautiful. This one wasn’t a custom, but it was the right toy, the right size and the right firmness from one of their drops during Pride month. Even though I am pansexual rather than bisexual, I still very much appreciate the bi-pride color palette. I think it’s a super cute pour and I love the hand-painted design on the shaft of the toy.
The overall quality of the toy is really good. This was my first time ordering from Wyverns Vault, and I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found is a toy that is on par in with many of the toys already in my collection. I don’t see any 3D printing lines or any imperfections like that. It’s got a hand-trimmed base so I can see those lines, but that’s pretty typical with most toys in my collection. There is potential for the hand-painted design to delaminate, but that’s just a fact when it comes to hand-painted toys.
The size small, medium firmness Veld was priced at €52.95 plus €19.95 shipping, for a total of €78.20. I placed the order on June 20th and received the toy on July 7th. It was shipped with UPS and my import tax was €23.89, bringing the total to €102.09. That’s pretty close to what I paid for Amanita, so I wasn’t quite as shocked by the total price with everything included.
Pros:
- Slight curve is great for g-spot or p-spot stimulation
- Minimal texture is ideal for people who want thick but mostly smooth toys
- Easy to clean
- Harness compatible & anal safe
- Thicker in the middle shaft is excellent for giving a good full feeling
Cons:
- Soft silicone is tacky enough that hair, lint, dust, etc sticks to the surface
- May not have enough texture for some users
Final Thoughts on Wyverns Vault Veld
I’m absolutely a fan of Wyverns Vault Veld. For me, it lived up to its intended purpose perfectly, and I’m really happy with the purchase. The design of the toy is great, the pour is cute as heck, and the hardest part of the shopping process was selecting which colorful pour I wanted. In the grand scheme of fantasy dildos, Veld doesn’t have much texture, but it does have a delightful slight curve that makes it great for g-spot or p-spot stimulation and the design is great for those seeking that delicious full feeling.
Veld is a great model for those who like thick dildos, those who don’t want a lot of texture, and those who are looking for g-spot or p-spot stimulation. I think the girth of the toy makes it a better toy for people who are used to either stretching or taking thicker dildos, though even the mini size may still be too girthy for beginners. Make sure you have measurements for what dimensions you can comfortably take before selecting your size Veld!
