I don’t know if you’re ready for this review. Mainly because I didn’t know that I was ready for this saddle style vibrator when it arrived. VVD’s Viva Desire Saddle is perhaps the most affordable saddle vibe I’ve seen on the market, and I am shook.
Normally, I don’t share prices this early in a review, but I’m breaking my own rules to share that the VVD Rider Desire saddle is only $239, and it’s good.
Like, actually good. It’s not perfect, and I’ll get to that, but just know that my overall feels on this sex toy are quite positive.

Meet the Viva Desire Saddle
Typically, saddle style vibrators are big, heavy, and pricey. However, Viva Desire, or VVD for short, has come out with a small-ish, lightweight and inexpensive sex saddle that is packed with features. Inside the box, you’ll find the saddle itself, 3 attachments, a remote control, product manual and a charging cord. It weighs 4.24lbs and measures in at 17.39”x9.64”x7.96”, and is made with body-safe ABS plastic & silicone
Each of the 3 attachments provides a different form of stimulation: Thrusting, Tapping, or Vibrating. In addition to the attachments, the saddle itself also has a clit tapping function, and there’s a heating function as well. Did I mention it’s also quiet? VVD reports that the maximum noise level is 60db. I don’t have a means of measuring this, but that’s about as loud as the Original Magic Wand Rechargeable on its highest setting.
The saddle has an IPX5 rating, meaning it should not be fully submerged, but can withstand splashes or sprays of water. It can be used with or without the remote control. It’s also rechargeable and fairly easy to clean.

Pros:
- The most affordable saddle vibrator I’ve seen on the market
- Interchangeable attachments provide 3 different types of stimulation
- Rechargeable
- Lightweight
- Quiet!! The thrusting attachment was the loudest
- Remote control or use buttons on the saddle itself
Cons:
- Weight capacity of 150kg / 330lbs
- Splashproof only
- Attachments are not safe for anal use
- Power button is right where my hands gravitated to the saddle when I wanted something to hold onto
- It needs a good storage bag or something
Care Instructions for the VVD Saddle
Cleaning the attachments of the VVD Saddle is the easy part. Just give them a quick hand wash with warm water and unscented soap, then set aside to air dry or pat dry with a clean microfiber cloth. The saddle itself should be just as easy, but the shape and size make it harder to clean than the attachments. If you have a sink large enough, you can give it a quick shower/hand wash that way, but if you don’t have a sink large enough it gets a bit more complicated.
I don’t have a large enough sink, so here’s what I ended up doing: with a clean washcloth, I soaked it with warm water and squeezed out the excess before gently rubbing down the surface of the saddle and rinsing the washcloth out a couple times. Then, I’d put a little bit of cleaner on the saddle by hand or spritzing with a spray bottle, rub it in a little bit, then using the same washcloth that I just rinsed a few times, I get it wet with more warm water, squeeze out the excess and wipe down the saddle. I repeat this a couple times then let the saddle air dry completely.

As far as charging the device, the charging port is located on the base, below the 3 buttons. It has a small rubber cover that you pop out, then plug the USB-C end of the included charging cord in. Charging will take about 3 hours and the light on the base will flash until it’s fully charged, then it will go solid. If, when you go to use the vibrator, the light rapidly flashes, that means it’s got low battery and it’s time to charge it up!
How To Use the VVD Saddle
The Viva Desire Saddle was designed in such a way that you can use it with or without the included attachments. The saddle itself has a clitoral tapping function, with 13 different modes. To turn on the saddle, press the power button (the center, circular button). No need to press and hold! You can turn the device off by pressing the power button again.
The top button, located just above the power button, controls the clitoral tapping. Press it to turn on the clitoral tapping motor and press again to start cycling through the functions. To turn off just the external stimulator, press and hold the top button.

Once you’ve powered on the device, you can then choose which attachment you’d like to use:
- The semi-phallic attachment with ridges vibrates. The vibrating attachment has 7 modes.
- The one with the infinity pattern thrusts. The thrusting attachment has 6 modes.
- The one with a double sided head and ridges along the shaft is a tapper. And yes, it tapes in both directions! The tapping, or flapping, function has 13 modes.
After attaching the internal toy, all you have to do is slide it into the hole on the saddle, apply some water-based lubricant, and mount! The bottom button on the underside of the saddle controls the internal stimulators, and is controlled the same way as the external stimulator.
The attachments are only for vaginal use. There are no flared bases or anything, and the magnets that connect them to the saddle base are not strong enough to prevent the attachment from sliding into your anus. They are not safe for anal use. To reiterate as clearly as I can: DO NOT USE THE ATTACHMENTS FOR ANAL!!

There is also a remote control which has two buttons. The button closest to the VVD logo controls the clitoral tapping and the other button controls the internal stimulator modes. A quick press of either button will start cycling through the modes for that motor. Press and hold to turn off the corresponding motor. The remote control is battery operated. You may need to pair it upon arrival, which all you do is remove the plastic tab from the remote, power on the saddle, and then hold the power button on the saddle for 2 seconds.
My Experiences with the VVD Saddle
I decided to film my first time using the VVD Saddle as part of an upcoming NSFW video review. Crazy, I know, but I charged it up, cleaned it and the attachments, and got it ready, then used it for the very first time on-camera. I decided to use the semi-realistic attachment for my first ride, and I really loved the shape! Not only the shape, but it’s really flexible so it was comfortable to take. I didn’t really know what I was doing at that point, as I hadn’t read the manual or anything, but I took it for a ride.
And wow! Was it good! I was so excited to try the other attachments and get to spend some time exploring everything the saddle was capable of. As I rocked back and forth on the saddle, I enjoyed the feeling of the external clit stimulator, but I noticed right away that my body had to be aligned just right for me to get any pleasure from it.

Another thing that I noticed right away that I think is really important to mention for my fellow shorties, is that the height of the VVD Saddle was really comfortable for me. I’m only 5’2” / 158cm. The Motorbunny BUCK sits too tall for me to comfortably take without having a way of raising my body off the ground around it. The same with the Liberator BonBon. Both of those make it kind of uncomfortable to have anything inserted into me. The VVD Saddle, however, was fantastic. I could comfortably straddle it and put my full weight on my knees/legs without the attachment feeling like it was too deep!
When I continued testing the saddle, I realized that I also needed to spread myself open and lean forward to get the most out of the clitoral tapper. The most disappointing part of this entire device, in my opinion, is that there’s only one steady speed for the external tapper. I would really love it if there were an additional 2-3 more steady speeds for that stimulator.
I methodically tried each of the attachments, one after another after another, then later tried each of them individually on different days where I felt physically/mentally about the same. My favorite was the tapping attachment, but I really couldn’t choose if the vibrating or thrusting attachment were my second and third favorites. They’re both really good, but obviously for different reasons!

I primarily used this while on my knees straddling it, as I don’t have the right kind/height of chair or stool for me to use this in a seated position and have my feet on the floor. Feet on the floor is an important one for me, as I’m then able to use my legs to lift myself up slightly if I need to.
Out of curiosity, I also tried it between my legs while I laid back. If I had a pillow beneath my hips, I was comfortably able to use all 3 of the attachments, but I had to apply some pressure to the front of the saddle to get the external stimulator to properly do its job. A perk of this position was that I was able to also rock the saddle back and forth to get a similar thrusting sensation while using the vibrating attachment!
The other issue that I ran into is whenever I put my hands on the front of the saddle while riding it, my fingers hit the buttons and I accidentally turned it off a couple times. Oops! My second biggest issue, which is more an issue for my wife than it is for me, is that there aren’t any anal friendly attachments. I would love to see VVD put out some additional attachments. Maybe anal friendly thruster and a p-spot vibrator! The other thing I’d love to see VVD release is a storage bag or storage case of some sort for easier storage.

Ways to Incorporate the VVD Saddle Into Partner Play
I haven’t gotten to try all of these ideas, but here are some ways that you can use the Viva Desire Saddle with a partner:
- Ride it while performing oral sex. Your partner can be standing in front of you or sitting above you.
- Ride it while your partner rides a different sex toy, like a grinder, Motorbunny, or other hands-free device, and play a competitive video game. Loser has to give the winner orgasms!
- Film yourself riding it to send to your long-distance lover
Want to get a bit more kinky? Then try these:
- Use a spreader bar or cuffs to put the rider’s hands behind their back while you whip, flog, bite, drip wax down, or slap their chest.
- Make someone ride this while trying to game, read, write, eat, draw, or whatever non-sexual, seated activity, and you control the remote from nearby. Make it a fun game of tease & denial by turning it on/off at your leisure or just make them get through the task as best they can while it stays on
- Sit slightly above and behind your partner as they ride it to play with their nipples, control their breathing, hold a magic wand against them, drip wax down their body, etc.
- Incorporate into rope bondage play

VVD Saddle vs Motorbunny?
There are a lot of differences between the Viva Desire Saddle and the Motorbunny BUCK, which is the only Motorbunny I’ve tried. I really want to iterate that while both are saddle style vibrators, these two machines are very different approaches. I think it’s like comparing apples to oranges, where yes they’re both fruit, but no they’re not the same kind of fruit. And frankly, I’m only including this part because I know my readers are curious!

The Final Verdict on Viva Desire Saddle
There really is a lot to enjoy about the VVD Saddle, and I’m really glad that VVD reached out to work with me. It means that I’m able to share with you, my wonderful readers, an affordable saddle vibrator! While it’s not 100% perfect, it is great for the price. I love the different attachments, I love the color, I love that it’s lightweight. Sure, there are some things that could be better, but overall, I’m a fan.
