Too much time has passed since I reviewed a wearable vibrator! I’ve talked about Tracy’s Dog Swirlii in the past, and I decided it was time to bring it back up for a proper review.
If you love wearable, insertable vibrators, stick around. You want to hear this!

Meet Swirlii Wearable Vibrator
From the moment you open the box, Swirlii is a treat. Though Tracy’s Dog is a “budget” toy brand, their packaging doesn’t look or feel budget. As you pull Swirlii out of the box, the body-safe silicone looks and feels nice. It’s a lavender vibrator, with both internal and external stimulation. The motors are independently controlled, with an included battery operated remote.
The internal end features double heads: a small, flexible pinky finger size flapping head and a larger, firmer head that rotates during use. The external base is ergonomically designed to fit against your anatomy and stimulate your clitoris via vibrations. Swirlii has 10 vibration modes, 4 steady intensities and 6 vibration patterns, plus 3 rotation speeds for the internal stimulator.
Tracy’s Dog Swirlii is waterproof IPX7, meaning it is rated to withstand submersion in 3 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. It’s also rechargeable, though the remote control is battery operated. Included in the box are the charging cord and a satin storage bag.

How to Use Tracy’s Dog Swirlii
After you’ve thoroughly washed Swirlii, turn the device on using the power button on the bottom base of the device. Press and hold the button until the light turns on and you feel a single vibration. Then, apply water-based lubricant to the internal heads & your anatomy, and press them together as you insert the vibrator. Using the remote control, the squiggly line controls the vibrations and the bottom button controls the rotation. Press each button to cycle through that motor’s functions. Press and hold the buttons on the remote to stop either motor. To fully power off the device, press and hold the button on the bottom base of the device.
You can use Swirlii without the remote control, simply by turning on the device and pressing that same button to cycle through the vibration. Using the remote is far superior, in my experience, as it gives you more control over vibration modes and rotation speeds.
Swirlii is designed for play with someone in the same room, as the remote only has a 10 meter range. Which is fine! Some people don’t need app control! Personally, I like app control because it feels a bit more discreet and tends to have a larger range, opening up the possibility of long distance play.

Care Instructions for Swirlii
Upon arrival, plug Swirlii’s magnetic charging cable into a USB port or block and attach the magnet end to the bottom of the device. Allow it to charge fully, for up to two hours. As the vibrator is charging, the power button’s light will pulse. Once it’s fully charged, the light will glow steadily. Each charge should last for about an hour.
You should only use water-based lubricants with Tracy’s Dog Swirlii. Also, it’s best practice to wash toys both before and after use, using a gentle, unscented soap. Make sure the soap does not contain silicone! Since the device is submersible, flexible and silicone, cleaning it is really easy.

Taking Swirlii for a Spin
I really, really enjoy wearable vibrators, insertable bits or not, so Swirlii was automatically off to a great start before I started using the toy. The first time I used Swirlii, I was really surprised at how quiet the motors are. I had both motors running on their highest speeds while having a conversation with my wife and she had no idea I was wearing it, until I asked her “can you hear that?”
Only when we went silent and she knew to listen for something, did she realize that I had a vibrator inserted. You could wear this out in public without worrying about noise, it is really quiet, though not completely silent. The motor for the rotating, internal stimulator is louder than the vibrations on the external motor. You can hear it, but unless someone was specifically listening out for it, I doubt anyone would catch on.
With that said, though, sitting on chairs that don’t have a plush cushion does make the noise a bit more audible. I wouldn’t recommend sitting on metal or wood chairs without cushions, if you’re trying to discreetly wear this one. You can still enjoy the excitement of having it inserted, even if it’s not powered on!

My favorite use of Swirlii was using it while I was strap-on topping. I’ve realized that strapless strap-ons are fun, but when it comes to using them on someone else anally, they tend to start to turn, which causes me a good deal of discomfort. When I’m wanting physical pleasure while topping, I’ve switched over to using pussy plugs. However, since getting Swirlii, I’ve really enjoyed the increased stimulation while throwing strap. My wife is usually a bit too blissed out to control the remote, but I don’t mind controlling it myself.
I’m also a big fan of using a pussy plug or wearable vibrator while doing housework or while sitting at my desk doing administrative work or writing. It’s a really fun tease and helps work me up. By the time I decide to pull it out of me, I’m practically feral for pleasure.
Which brings me to a point that is maybe important: I was unable to achieve orgasm using Swirlii alone. I tried getting there in a few different ways, and I got close, but I wasn’t able to finish. It was pleasurable to wear! It just wasn’t quite what I needed to finish. I found myself needing additional stimulation after removing it to achieve climax, whether it was using another vibrator on myself or having sex.

I think I had trouble achieving orgasm because my labia are a bit meaty, so I had to spread myself open a bit to have the clitoral stimulator properly pressed against my clitoris. This was easiest to achieve while lying down, rather than while moving around. It turns out that the movement of doing housework was enough that it shifted and was no longer pressed fully against my anatomy.
For me, that’s not a problem. Orgasms aren’t the sole purpose of pleasure! Just experiencing pleasure is nice, and can act as a means of foreplay, edging, or even tease & denial. For others, Swirlii may make them orgasm.
One thing that threw me is that the silicone on Swirlii feels slightly different than the silicone on other toys from Tracy’s Dog that I have. It’s got a bit more drag than other toys from them, which isn’t bad given that this is wearable, since some friction can help keep it in place easier.
I do wish that Swirlii was app-controlled instead of remote controlled. I think it’s pretty normal to see people in public looking at their phone screens, so I don’t think it would be very obvious if someone was controlling one of these at a grocery store, for example. A remote control is a bit more obvious, unless you’re holding it in a pocket to control it that way. I think my favorite times playing with panty vibes was using an app-control “DIY” vibration pattern and playing with Cassie that way. Women’s clothes don’t often always have pockets or large enough pockets, so it’s far less discreet to carry a remote control.
Speaking of Cassie, at the time of posting this, we have not tried Swirlii on her. Swirili is an anal friendly shape, and I think the stimulation could feel good against the perineum and prostate based on panty vibrators we’ve both tried in the past. That’s purely speculative, though. If/When we try it on her, I’ll update this review accordingly!

Pros:
- Quiet motors can’t be heard unless someone is specifically listening for it
- Submersible
- Rechargeable
- 4 vibration intensities is a nice range
- Body-safe silicone
- Remote control
- Comes with a satin storage pouch
Cons:
- I wish the device was app controlled rather than remote controlled
- The silicone doesn’t feel quite as luxuriously smooth as some other Tracy’s Dog toys

Final Thoughts on Swirlii
Overall, I like Swirlii. The 4 vibration intensities feel good, I like the internal rotation, I like that it’s submersible. I would prefer app control, but the remote control is still good. Even though the panty vibrator wasn’t able to help me achieve orgasm, I still really loved the stimulation and using it more as a foreplay tool than an orgasm tool.
At $52/€43.40, Swirlii is a really impressive price. It’s a good remote control, wearable vibrator, and I think it’s good for users of just about any experience.
