About a year ago, I learned about the Svakom Peachy Star vibrator. A cute, star shaped air pulse vibrator with a star projector base. I want one so badly that I even asked a friend who was visiting Japan to grab me one if they found it in stores, because it’s not available here in the US. The Asian and European markets get the cutest toys that we here in the US just don’t (and I’m big mad about it).
Thankfully, Svakom launched something sort of similar for the American market: Pulse Galaxie air pulse clit stimulator with starlight projector. A less cutesy toy that still has the absolutely unnecessary feature of starlight projecting.
But is it worth it?
Let’s get down to business
I got to check out the Svakom Pulse Galaxie at the Altitude Intimates Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, and thankfully they sent me home with one to test further. Pulse Galaxie is an air pulsation clit stimulator with 5 intensities and 5 air pulsation patterns on the vibrator itself, but with many more options via the Svakom app. The charging dock doubles as a starlight projector with 3 modes of starry projections.
Measuring in at 3.2″ tall and 1.7″ wide when both the base & stimulator are “locked” together, the stimulator itself is 4.2″ long and 2.4″ deep. The diameter of the suction hole is about 0.5″.
The stimulator is bluetooth enabled and the app has 6 different modes:
- Touch Mode – allows controller to use finger to draw a pattern to control air pulsation
- Preset Mode – 11 air pulsation patterns plus control of the projector brightness and projector mode
- Custom Mode – control the intensity of 11 different air pulsation patterns (surprisingly similar to the preset mode and seems redundant tbh)
- Music Mode – in theory, syncs to music app however, I always got a “Permission Denied” error message
- Sound Mode – uses noises to control intensity, which could be more fun if this was a panty vibe that could be worn discreetly in public
- Remote Mode – create a room to invite a far away user to control your vibe for you
The charging dock’s starlight projector has 3 modes as well: steady light, blinking light, and breathing light. The starlight projector seems to only work after the toy itself is powered on, and you can switch projection modes in the “Preset Mode” of the Svakom app. For me, if I try to power on the projector without the vibe, it doesn’t work. But I can power on the vibe, use the app to turn on the projector, turn off the vibe and still enjoy the starlight.
Pulse Galaxie has a travel lock and a memory function, so when you power it up, it will return to the settings where you left off last time. It also comes with a USB-C charging cable, storage bag and a 2 year warranty & 10 year service guarantee.
To charge the Pulse Galaxie, plug the USB-C cord into the base of the charging base, attach the clit stimulator to the base, and keep an eye on the 4 flashing lights on the top of the toy to see if it’s fully charged. The lights will also tell you how much charge this baby has when you take if off the base to use. Magnets hold the vibrator and base together, which is a really nice touch.
This cute air pulse stimulator is available in Metallic Lilac or Midnight Black. I like the sleekness of the Midnight Black just a bit more.
Pros:
- Comfortable to hold in hand
- 0.5″ hole opening is wide enough for many users
- Rechargeable
- Travel lock & travel/storage pouch
- Expanded controls via the app
- Starlight projector is lovely for setting the mood
- Battery indicator lights are very nice
Cons:
- Not as cute as the Asian & European market’s Peachy Star vibe with similar starlight projector feature
- Air pulse hole may not be wide enough for those with a lot of clit growth
How to Use Svakom Pulse Galaxie Air Pulsation Clit Stimulator
Users can enjoy the Pulse Galaxie stimulator with or without the Svakom app. Once charged, gently pull the stimulator off the base and hold the “S” button on the top of the toy until it vibrates to indicate that it’s on. The vibrations will stop until you press it again to start the air pulsations. Press the S button to cycle through the intensities. To switch between patterns, double press the “S” button to cycle through the modes: steady, slow pulse, exciting, seduction, and fluttering.
To use the app, turn on the Pulse Galaxie, open the app and press the “Connect to Toy” button if it’s your first time connecting it to your phone. Press the “Play” button and select which mode you’d like to use then enjoy expanded options.
Once the toy is turned on, press the star symbols on the base above the charging port and hold for 2 seconds to power on. Quickly tap the button to cycle through the 3 starlight projection modes.
To use the travel lock, long press the “S” button for 8 seconds until 4 battery indicator lights flash. To unlock the travel lock, long press the “S” button for 8 seconds until the battery lights flash, or charge stimulator on the base.
My Experiences with Svakom Pulse Galaxie
Svakom Pulse Galaxie is a nice clitoral stimulator. The suction hole is wider than some suction toys I’ve tried, such as the Viben Symphony, though still smaller than the hole on NS Novelties Seduction Kaia vibrator. I don’t have a big clit, nor do I have any clitoral growth, so for me this was a comfortable fit. Beyond the comfortable fit of the suction hole of Pulse Galaxie, I found it really comfortable to hold. The curve of the toy fit right against the palm of my hand and against my body.
This is a very stylish looking toy, and the packaging is absolutely gift worthy. Svakom has fantastic, high quality black boxes that are beautiful to see when unwrapping gift paper. I know I’d love to receive such a stylishly packaged toy as a gift!!
As far as power goes, I really enjoyed all 5 of the power levels Pulse Galaxie has to offer. I’m not a fan of patterns, so I skipped over those. I tend to avoid apps unless I’m using one for controlling someone else’s vibe, so the app didn’t get much use out of me.
The starlight projector was somewhat finicky for me at first, but once I figured out the trick, I’ve really enjoyed adding it to my already moody bedroom sexy time mix. The trick: make sure it’s plugged in, power on the vibrator, press & hold the star button on the base, and use the app to select the star projector mode. Personally, I prefer the “breathing light” setting. It pairs nicely with the galaxy projector that I have from Amazon, though the projector on Pulse Galaxie doesn’t have quite the range as a dedicated projector.
Once I got past my disappointment that Svakom’s Peachy Star vibe wouldn’t be available in the US, I accepted that Pulse Galaxie would be the next best option. It’s not as cute as Peachy Star, but it’ll do (for now).
