Half human, half horse, all pleasure. That’s what Sinnovator’s newest dildo, the Centaur Horse Dildo, is all about. As the first toy I’ve tried from the UK based fantasy sex toy company, Centaur Horse Dildo has set my expectations for the brand pretty high. The design can appeal to fans of realistic dildos or fantasy dildos, or people like me who like both!
With a line-up that features some extreme sex toys, Sinnovator’s brand is synonymous with “big fantasy dildos.” To me, at least. I’ve had awareness for Sinnovator for what feels like a decade, though I was a bit intimidated to actually order from them or even reach out to them for a collaboration. Thankfully, Sinnovator has a range of sizes that can appeal to anyone, size royalty or otherwise.
Meet the Centaur Horse Dildo by Sinnovator
With a delicious combination of both human and fantasy features, Sinnovator’s Centaur Horse Dildo is a lot of dick. Starting at the human tip, the dildo features realistic vein texture, plus 3 sets of frenum piercings that run from tip to a medial ring. There is a very slight tapering above the medial ring, but prepare for the full girth of the shaft just above that ring. Made with platinum cure silicone, Centaur Horse Dildo is available in 5 sizes (x-small up to x-large), 2 firmness options, with a flat base or vac-u-lock hole (not available on the x-small size), and you can also choose from 7 different color customizations.
I opted to get a size small in medium firmness (10A) with Surprise Me Premium as the color option. The 10A firmness is pretty firm with a little bit of squish to it, but it’s not at all what I would consider a squishy toy. I believe the colors that they choose are Starry Night blue and Gold, but since it’s a surprise coloration, I can’t actually confirm that. I suggest paying close attention to the size charts, as Sinnovator’s size small is still pretty freaking big, with the following dimensions:

In the last year, Sinnovator and their sister company, Uncover Creations, received criticism about their packaging. The packaging in question was “eco-friendly” with no plastic used, however, toys would show up covered in shipping dust and cardboard/paper shavings. It wasn’t great. However, both brands listened to the criticism and are now shipping toys packaged in a single large, thick plastic bag. I received 4 toys from Sinnovator, all of which were in a single bag which, can be seen here.
How to Care for Sinnovator Centaur Horse Dildo
Although platinum cure silicone is a durable material, it’s still really important to care for your silicone sex toys correctly. Sinnovator warns not to let anything sharp come in contact with toys they make, even going so far as to suggest avoiding using them as weapons on the included care card that comes in the package. Don’t bite, scratch, or cut your sex toys, as this can make them tearing or ripping.
I was surprised to see that Sinnovator says you can use not just water-based lubricant with their products, but also silicone-based lubes too, with a disclaimer: “Silicone lube is harder to wash off toys after use, which can lead to it trapping viruses and bacteria and can make sharing toys problematic.” Personally, I’d suggest skipping silicone lubricants entirely, and stick to water-based or oil-based lubes instead.
You should always clean your sex toys both before and after use. This is especially important with silicone toys, like those made by Sinnovator, because it attracts hair, dust, lint, dirt and other free-floating gunk that you don’t really want to put into your body. Using an unscented antibacterial soap is perfect, but you can also use a specialty toy cleaner if that’s what you prefer. If you’re using an oil-based lube, you’ll likely want to grab some dish soap with grease cutting power to properly clean off the lube.
When it’s time for a deeper clean, you have a few options:
- boil in water for a few minutes, making sure the toy is not resting against the bottom and sides of the pot.
- run your toy through a sanitize setting in your dishwasher
- soak in a 10% bleach solution for about 10 minutes, then rinse
To store your toys, platinum cure silicone can be safely stored next to and touching other toys made with platinum cure silicone. However, they should not stay in contact with toys made with non-body safe materials, such as jelly, vinyl, or TPE.
Taking Centaur Horse Dildo by Sinnovator for a Ride
Ok, so I didn’t actually ride Sinnovator’s Centaur Horse Dildo. It’s far too big for me to do that comfortably without actually impaling myself. It’s a big dick! I read the dimensions, I looked at the size comparison photo, and still, the size small is a big small. Perhaps I could ride it comfortably if I had selected the Medium Soft 4A firmness, but with other 10A firmness toys in my collection I thought I’d be fine.
Dear readers, I was not actually fine. Like so many other fantasy dildo companies out there, their version of “small” partnered with 10A firmness is a lot to handle. Like, a lot a lot. I’ve taken fantasy dildos that are thicker than the size small Centaur Horse Dildo that have a softer firmness, but this particular combination of size and firmness is a lot to handle. I could barely make it past the medial ring in all of my attempts to do so!
Even with that in mind, I still really appreciate the firmness of 10A and I like the stretch the size small gives me. Sure, I’d have an easier time taking this fantasy dildo if I got the size x-small instead, but I like getting toys that are of interest to both my wife and I in sizes that we can both take.
And whooo, did Cassie take this dildo. I’m unsurprised. As soon as I saw the model on Sinnovator’s site, I knew Cassie and I would enjoy the design. I love both realistic dildos and fantasy dildos, and the Centaur Horse Dildo has a little bit of both. Medial rings are one of Cassie’s favorite design features and, as an anal user, she much prefers firmer toys over softer toys. This design and my selected options really do have something for both of us!
Upon arrival of the care package from Sinnovator, Centaur Horse Dildo was the first of the toys that Cassie reached for. Like several other toys in our collection, Cassie tried this dildo before I did. Even after I notes about how she felt about this dildo, Cassie kept requesting Centaur Horse Dildo for me to use on her anally.
“For me, the amount of texture on this dildo really lends itself to longer strokes so I can enjoy the stimulation of the bumps, medial ring, and base ring each thrust. The bumps above the medial ring are only noticeable to me when they’re directly hitting my sphincter. Once they’re inside, the bumps aren’t big enough that I really feel them. The firmness is perfect for anal use, especially when angled towards my belly button so the head can hit my prostate,” according to Cassie.
Using the dildo on Cassie was a lot of fun. It fit well into my favorite strap-on harness though it was also comfortable to hold when hand pumping it into her. I opted to get a vac-u-lock hole for two reasons: one, I like to put a finger into the hole for better stabilization and comfortable holding, and two, so I could use my ergonomic handle with it. The size of the base on the size small Centaur Horse Dildo was almost perfectly fit to my hand, and I ended up not using the vac-u-lock hole for the added comfort.
One of the things that I like about strap-on topping with firm dildos is that there isn’t as much droopage, though weight can play a factor in how erect a dildo looks. Thankfully, the flat base rested comfortably against my body so the dildo stayed erect and I was able to peg my wife easily. The base rests so comfortably against my body that I can even use the dildo to top her without a harness. That doesn’t allow for long strokes, but it does allow for shorter, deeper strokes. Lately, this has become one of my favorite ways to top, as it gives me the freedom to use the dildo in my hand or pressed against my mons pubis without having to pause sex for me to take off or put on a strap-on harness.
Though I wasn’t able to take nearly as much of the fantasy dildo as my wife can, I did my damn best. One of the things I like about dildos that are longer than I need is that I can use the extra length to help better maneuver during masturbation, and having more length than needed plus a comfortable to hold base meant that I was able to comfortably thrust this into myself if I wanted. As someone with a big belly and short arms, the extra length really makes a big difference to me!
When attached to the end of SilcArts Vac-u-Lock Ergonomic Handle, the Sinnovator Centaur Horse Dildo was a delight to thrust, though the firmness was a lot for me to handle and I ended up not thrusting as much as I sometimes do. All I really needed was the tip and the first couple inches of shaft, though. The coronal ridge of the realistic head sent shivers down my spine each time it rubbed against my g-spot.
Thrusting the dildo into myself is a lot to handle though, and I found myself choosing my go-to masturbatory position more often. With a bullet vibrator pressed against my clitoris, I’d slide the large fantasy dildo in as far as I could handle, and then enjoy the feeling of fullness and stretch that it provides. The tapered length isn’t very long, barely making it halfway to the medial ring before the shaft hits full girth. Feeling my muscles clamping down each time I achieved orgasm caused my mind to explode. Even though Centaur Horse Dildo doesn’t have a perfect shaft for that “locked in” feeling, like Veld, I was still able to use my thighs to look it in place during that type of masturbation.

My Final Verdict on Sinnovator Centaur Horse Dildo
The Centaur Horse Dildo was my very first toy I’ve tried from Sinnovator, though it won’t be the last (I can say this confidently, since I have 3 other toys to review from them in the coming year)! I enjoyed the juxtaposition of human and horse features, and I can see why Uncover Creations and Sinnovator decided to utilize the design that was submitted during UC’s Design a Dildo competition. It’s a really good design and it’s getting a lot of use in our house!
I’d recommend the Sinnovator Centaur Horse Dildo to anyone who likes a bit of both realistic and fantastical features. The design may not have enough texture for some people, but it also may have too much texture for others. Only you can have an idea of it would be too much or too little for you! But, the fact that it comes in 5 sizes gives more people the opportunity to enjoy this customizable fantasy dildo.
