When I first received the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3, it was my first ever Satisfyer toy. And I was in love. Since, I’ve received numerous Satisfyer toys, including the Orca, which I reviewed on my YouTube channel.
What’s the big deal about Satisfyer? Well, they’re a German brand known for their air-pulse technology, which many people think of as “suction.” They make a variety of air-pulse toys, though that’s not all that they make. Satisfyer also makes vibrators, cock rings, wands, plugs and strokers!
If you’ve never tried an air-pulse or “suction” toy, I’ll be brief. Though air-pulse toys give the sensation of suction, they aren’t actually sucking on your clit. Instead, it essentially pushes and pulls air around the clitoris. This provides intense stimulation without direct contact and gives a sucking sensation.
Get to Know the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3
Launched in 2023, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 is an updated version of the original model that released in 2016, which was then updated again in 2017. I had never tried the previous models, so I can’t compare them. This review will solely focus on the Pro 2 Gen 3 model!
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 is an air-pulse toy with vibrations and Satisfyer’s “Liquid Air Technology.” Liquid Air Technology is meant to mimic the sensation of pulsing water. It is made with body-safe silicone and is waterproof submersible and rechargeable. It features 11 air pulse intensities as well as 12 vibration functions, with 2 independently controlled motors. The vibration functions have 5 steady speeds and 7 patterns.
Included in the box are two removable silicone heads and a charging cord. One silicone head has an open mouth, which sits around the clit to provide the suction sensation. The other head does not have a mouth, and meant to simulate pulsating water gushing over your clitoris.
What I Loved:
- Removable silicone heads provide different types of stimulation
- Body-safe silicone body and heads
- 2 independently controlled motors can be used simultaneously
- IPX7 waterproof submersible
- Rechargeable
- Comfortable handle is easy to hold
- Quiet
What I Didn’t Love:
- Long charging time
- The manual does not tell you what one of the heads is for, so I originally thought it was a dust cover & threw it away. Oops!
Care & Charging the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3
Not all air-pulse toys are waterproof submersible, but the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 has an IPX rating of 7, which means that it was tested & approved for use underwater for 30 minutes.
Washing the device is easy: grab your favorite toy cleaner or a gentle, antibacterial, unscented soap and wash with warm water. Let the device dry fully before storing.
It is recommended to use water-based lubricant with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3.
To charge the vibrator, attach the included USB cord to a USB port or charging brick, then place the magnetic charging end to the bottom of the handle. A light below the buttons will flash as the device is charging, then go steady when it has reached 100%. Be careful not to over charge the device, as it can damage the battery. Charging can take up to 3 hours, though the first time charging may take up to 8 hours. Each charge is meant to last approximately 1 hour.
How to Use
There are 3 buttons on the handle of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3. The middle button is the power button, which will turn on the air-pulsations. In the same oval as the power button, you’ll find a button for increasing & decreasing intensity of the air-pulse. Below the oval is a circular button, which turns on the vibrations. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on. This will power on the air pulsations. Press either button in the oval to cycle through the intensities. To turn the vibrations on, press the circular button, then press again to start cycling through patterns.
Apply a small amount of lube to the inside and tip of the mouth, then place against your clitoris and enjoy!
To use the Liquid Air Technology, gently pop the white cap off the head of the device, then push the other cover onto the device. Again, apply a small amount of lube on the cap and press against your clitoris.
My Experience with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3
It may come as a shock, but even as a SWer and a toy reviewer, there are still toys out there that I am super excited to try, and Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 was one of those. When it arrived, I ripped open the box to immediately start charging it. I needed to use it ASAP!
This was actually my very first air-pulsation toy, but as you can see, it’s clearly taking a while for me to actually write the review. It’s not that I didn’t love it, because oh my gosh, I do! But shortly after receiving this vibe, I started getting overwhelmed with all the toys that were being sent to me. But here I am, finally get around to it! Sorry for the delay, everyone!
Since I originally received it in February 2023, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 has been used so many times that I can’t even count. It’s one of my go-to toys when I’m masturbating for pleasure rather than to review or for filming. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve jumped at every opportunity to test more Satisfyer toys… the Orca, the Glowing Ghost, the Wand-er Woman…
I’m getting away from myself! Let’s get back on track.
Every single time I used the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3, my body responded with waves of orgasmic pleasure. I love the way the stimulation feels and washes over my body. It was unlike anything I’d ever tried before. I was instantly sold on air-pulse “suction” toys.
I couldn’t get enough. I was hooked. And the fact that this device also vibrates in addition to the air-pulsation? OH MY GOSH 🥵
With some external toys, I find myself wanting or even needing internal stimulation as well. However, with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3, I didn’t need that to achieve orgasms. It felt so good that I hit the mark every single time.
As I mentioned earlier, the manual does not tell you what the closed cover is for, and I stupidly, did not look at the product page before receiving it. I thought that the closed cover was a dust cover, and I tossed it. When I ordered what I thought was a replacement pack that would include that cap, that one was NOT included. Womp womp womp. Moral of that story: don’t throw away the cap that looks like a dust cover. You won’t be able to order a replacement! 😭
Final Thoughts on Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3
There are a lot of really great “suction” toys on the market, and I’m pleased to share that the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 is among those greats. It’s affordably priced, comfortable to hold during sex without getting in the way, waterproof submersible, and quiet.
It isn’t the strongest air pulse toy on the market though, so if you’re looking for something that will give you intense suction feels, you may way to check out some of the competitors. However, this one does have a wide range of intensities that not all suction toys have. I never experienced the sensation of feeling like my clitoris was being sucked off with this device, like I have with the Lelo Sona Cruise and the BMS Monarch Swan.
If you are looking for a toy with long distance app control, Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 is also a great option for that, as there is an app controlled version available as well. Note that most places charge around $10 more for the app controlled version vs the non-app controlled.
