I’m a sucker for strapless strap-ons, so I was so excited when Nobü Toys sent me Adël, a lilac strapless strap-on that vibrates and taps. This is hardly my first strapless strap-on, in fact I have most of Blush’s strapless strap-on offerings.
One thing that Blush’s strapless strap-on toys are missing? Remote controls and internal motors. Ok, so that’s two things, but it doesn’t even matter because here comes Nobü Toys with the beautiful, vibrating Adël Strapless Strap-On.
So, let’s get to it!
The Basics
Adël Strapless Strap-On is a gorgeous lilac color, with 10 vibration patterns in the shaft and 10 tapping functions on the clitoral pad. It has 3 independently controlled motors and a remote control. It’s quiet, made with body-safe silicone, and comes with a 5 year warranty. Its waterproof rating is IPX7, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter in depth for up to 30 minutes.
Measuring in at 8.75″ long, Adël Strapless Strap-On has an insertable shaft length of 4.75″ and an insertable handle length of 2.75″. It’s not a wide toy, with a width at the widest point of only 1.25″. The insertable handle is bulbous with a thin neck for comfortable wear.
Though this is a strapless strap-on, some users find it easier to use strapless strap-ons with a harness. Personally, I have thick enough thighs and strong enough kegals that I’m able to use this without needing a harness, though my movement is somewhat limited. Some users will want to still use a harness, but it just comes down to personal preference.
There are 3 independently controlled motors on Adël Strapless Strap-On: a motor for the shaft, a motor for the handle, and a motor for the clitoral tapping. Users can choose to have all three running or pick & choose which to use. You can use the remote control to adjust intensities, or use the buttons on the bottom of the strap-on to adjust.
To charge Adël Strapless Strap-On, attach the magnetic charging cord to the base of the strap-on. It takes about 2 hours to charge the battery and can be used for about an hour. The LED light will blink while charging and go steady once fully charged. The remote control isn’t rechargeable, and takes a single AAA battery.
Before and after use, make sure to properly clean Adël Strapless Strap-On with a mild dish soap or your favorite toy cleaner. Make sure it’s completely dry before storing.
Pros:
- Non-realistic texture
- Remote controlled
- 3 independently controlled motors
- Harness compatible
- Magnetic rechargeable & waterproof
- Tapping sensation on the clitoral pad is very nice
- Firm G-spot & P-spot stimulation on the shaft end
Cons:
- Short run time when using max power on all three motors
- Remote isn’t rechargeable
- Most users will still need a harness, but this is the case with most strapless strap-ons, IMO
- Non-realistic firmness & design
How to Use the Adël Strapless Strap-On
Once your Adël Strapless Strap-On is fully charged, press and hold any button on the toy to turn it on. The button will light up indicating that power is on. The top button controls the vibrations in the shaft, the middle button controls the tapping functions, and the bottom button controls the vibrations in the handle. Thankfully, buttons have arrows to show which end they’re controlling!
To use the remote, the toy will need to also be turned on. Press & hold any button on the remote to power it up, and then use the same corresponding buttons to control the vibrations and tapping on the vibe itself.
I recommend using a very small dab of water-based lube on the handle to insert into the giver before inserting the shaft into the receiver. Nobü Toys recommends only using water-based lubes on Adël Strapless Strap-On.
If you are using a harness with Adël Strapless Strap-On, make sure you’ve got it inserted in the harness prior to inserting either end.
My Experiences and Thoughts
I really enjoy a good strapless strap-on, and Adël Strapless Strap-On was no exception. The bulb/handle that goes into me is comfortable and I love that my body fat helped keep the clitoral pad in place so I could properly enjoy the tapping sensation.
I often found it easiest to use while standing so that I could kind of keep my thighs together to keep it in place. I also tend to stand because if there’s not a lot of length for me to work with, I don’t want to sink into my very squishy bed and be unable to hit the right spot on my partner. Adël Strapless Strap-On doesn’t have a ton of extra length, so standing was kind of a must for me as a plus size top.
My main use with this strapless strap-on was topping my trans wife. If you’re not aware, Cassie is a size queen, and she did find the girth and length to be a bit less than what she generally prefers. However, we had a great time using it and she was able to achieve orgasm with it particularly when she was on her back and I was standing between her legs.
Before powering on Adël Strapless Strap-On, we also tried some blowjob action with it. My wife used both her hand and mouth to give it a bit of movement, and I was able to achieve orgasm just from that type of stimulation. If we started with this type of stimulation, I could it easier to also achieve orgasm while topping.
As a top, I did find that using too much lube made it harder to keep the bulb/handle inserted in me, which is where a harness would come in handy. I’m just a little stubborn. For anal sex, the tightness & suction of the receiver’s hole may also turn the strap-on, causing some discomfort for the giver, but again, a harness would help prevent so much movement if I wasn’t such a stubborn top.
Now, I will admit that I have a lot of bias when it comes to Nobü Toys – the wonderful folks who I’ve met from the company are an absolute delight to be around and flatter me beyond belief. But the feeling goes both ways: every time I see their booth at toy shows, I’m always spending time gawking at their stylish packaging and cute toy designs. They’ve also hired me to do an IG Reel of one of their other amazing vibrators, AOKI. That being said, all thoughts and opinions about Adël are 100% my own. I haven’t told them that I’m writing this review, and they haven’t ever asked me to review it. I just really enjoy their vibes that I’ve tried!
The Thing About Strapless Strap-ons Is…
They aren’t as easy to keep in place as companies want them to be. This isn’t exclusive to Nobü Toys or Blush or any other company that makes strapless strap-ons. It’s a widespread issue. Strapless strap-ons are designed so that they can be used without a harness, but most users struggle without a harness.
Strapless strap-ons slip out, they turn, they’re heavy. I use them often, so I have experience with them, but I remember when I was less experienced. I was frustrated with them. It took a lot of practice to get good at using them without a harness, and most of that happened because I’m stubborn.
Final Thoughts
I really like Nobü Toys’ Adël Strapless Strap-On, but I would recommend that most users use it with a harness. The girth of the shaft may not be enough for size queens who prefer more, but the length is ideal for both G-spot and P-spot stimulation.
The color of Adël Strapless Strap-On is beautiful, and matches my favorite water bottle and my bedroom. The silicone has a little drag, so lube is definitely recommended for both the giver and receiver.
The vibrations and tapping stimulation are quite enjoyable, and I’m glad that there are independently controlled motors.
