As I continue to integrate into European society, one of my goals for 2026 is to shine more light on European indie toy companies, so I’m very excited for today’s review! Towards the end of 2025, I ordered my first toy from German company Neotori, Theotolax the Freelancer. It was my first purchase from Neotori and my first time trying any of their toys. I’ve seen the fantasy dildo maker recommended repeatedly, so I was really excited to purchase from them.
Just a day after Theotolax arrived at my house, I decided to use the dildo for one of my more challenging custom orders: an hour long solo masturbation. It was a risk, but with the size and minimal texture, I hoped that the dildo would be comfortable and wouldn’t end up pumping me full of air the way El Rey did when filming a previous similar custom.
About Theotolax the Freelancer Fantasy Dildo
With 5 sizes available, Theotolax the Freelancer by Neotori is a customizable fantasy dildo that features minimal textures for a smooth, pleasurable ride. The tapered tip has a slight curve that flows down to a slight swell, before leading into a knot. Designed for a warm-up stretch or a casual session, Theotolax the Freelancer primarily has vertical textures that I’d consider very gentle and minimal.

Neotori’s customers can opt to shop in-stock inventory or customize their own Theotolax. I opted to customize my own after seeing a different model with a similar pour in their inventory. I got a size small with the standard firmness, Shore A00, which is very soft and squishy. In retrospect, I do wish I’d gone for the firmer option, but now I know for next time. The size small Theotolax the Freelancer has the following dimensions:
- Total length: 6.3″ / 16cm
- Usable length: 5.51″ / 14cm
- Upper shaft diameter: 1.54″ / 3.9cm
- Lower shaft diameter: 1.81″ / 4.6cm
- Tip circumference: 2.68″ / 6.8cm
- Upper shaft circumference: 4.57″ / 11.6cm
- Lower shaft circumference: 5.47″ / 13.9cm
- O-ring size: 1.75″ / 4.445cm
- Suction cup diameter: 1.77″ / 4.5cm
Care Instructions for Neotori’s Theotolax the Freelancer Dildo
Soft silicone, like Shore A00, is a bit more delicate than firmer silicone, though is still quite durable. Sharp objects, rough surfaces, biting, or scratching can permanently damage the surface of your Neotori sex toys. They recommend always using lubricant with their sex toys, specifically water or oil based lubricants. If you are using condoms with fantasy dildos from Neotori, you should check that the condoms have water-based lube instead of silicone-based lubricant.

To clean the dildo, they recommend using warm water and regular dish soap. I recommend using an unscented, antibacterial dish soap. The texture on Theotolax the Freelancer is minimal enough that you likely won’t need a soft bristled toothbrush to clean it, though you may need to run the tip of your finger around the texture to fully clean. When it comes time for a deeper clean, you can also choose one of the following options:
- run through the dishwasher on a sanitize setting without detergent
- boil in water for up to 10 minutes, taking care that the sex toy is not resting against the sides or bottom of the pot
- soak in a diluted bleach solution (10% bleach, 90% water) for up to 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly. Do not boil bleach!
Because soft silicone has a slightly sticky/grippy feeling, dust and lint often stick to the surface of sex toys. Always rinse or wash your soft silicone sex toys before use and wash again after use.
Do not store your platinum cure silicone dildos, like those from Neotori, with toys made from vinyl, jelly, TPE, or other materials. Neotori recommends that the best way to store your toys is in a cotton bag or wrapped in a dry cloth. Personally, I have my sex toys from indie toy companies on display!

My Experiences with Theotolax the Freelancer by Neotori
Whenever I order a MTO from a toy company that is new to me, I usually opt for small size toys and select the recommended firmness options. This was my first time getting a toy from Neotori, and I saw that they recommend the Standard Shore A00 firmness on my size small Theotolax the Freelancer. After receiving the dildo, I think I would have preferred their Firm Shore A08 on the size small instead, as the dildo is very soft and squishy. Much softer and squishier than I generally like with a small dildo. When it comes to small dildos, I like to go firmer because it gives me a better sense of fullness than softer silicones.
Even though the firmness is softer than my general preferences, I still find myself enjoying Theotolax the Freelancer’s design quite a bit. The curved tapered tip is a gentle little button pusher as it slides against my g-spot, though I find myself loving the swell and the knot even more. The swell on the top half of the shaft gives a bit of girth on the top and bottom of the dildo, while the knot stretches out more to the left and ride sides of the dildo. It’s a fantastic combination for me, and one that I think I’d like even more on a firmer size small.

Earlier, I mentioned using Theotolax for a custom video. When I filmed the hour long masturbation video using Theotolax, it was my very first time using the fantasy dildo. I’ll admit that was a not-so-great idea of mine, but I was just so excited to try it out. I wasn’t used to the softness and I was already having a bit of a struggle with filming the custom, so it didn’t go great, but I did learn a lot really quickly.
The first thing I learned, is that the base of the dildo is not comfortable for me for hand-held thrusting. I’m someone who has grip issues thanks to nerve damage in my hand and has a short arms/big belly combo that presents a unique challenge with masturbation. The base is a bit too small, and the suction cup base paired with the softness made it thin and squishy, which really clashed with my ability to comfortably hold the base. I think that it would be more comfortable for me to hold without the suction cup base and/or firmer silicone. There’s just too much squish for me!

The other thing that would make it easier and more comfortable for me to hold would be longer length. I wasn’t sure I was up to the max circumference of the size medium, though the length is much more appealing to me. I like toys with longer lengths because the non-inserted length helps me reach more easily. I wanted a toy with a small knot that I could use more regularly, and that’s exactly what the size small is allowing me to do.
The second thing, is that if the suction cup of the dildo is wet from lube, it won’t stay attached to my ergonomic handle nor my fuck machine suction cup plate. I now know that I have to be pretty careful with my lube. If the handle gets lube on it, the pull during outwards stroke is strong enough to move the dildo. It causes the dildo to slide to the edge of the handle, so the suction seal is broken, which is not ideal to have to fix multiple times during a masturbation sesh, filmed or otherwise. If the suction cup plate for my fuck machine gets lube on it, it also causes the dildo to slide across the surface. Instead of sliding of the edge, it pushes against the walls of the suction cup plate, which pushes an edge up and pops the seal.
The third thing, is that the design itself is super comfortable to take for over an hour. I didn’t feel like I was pumping myself full of air and I didn’t get overstimulated by texture or an intensely shaped coronal ridge. The texture is mostly vertical, so it didn’t get to the point of overstimulation. Overall, it just felt nice. It’s a good design and the softness really does make a big difference in comfort when taking a dildo that long.

I may gripe about my own decision to go with the softer silicone, but fuck. It is really comfortable for long periods of vaginal use. I think this is one of the softest dildos in my collection.
Though the design’s tapered tip does press against my g-spot, the softness of the silicone is just a bit too soft for me to get the right amount of pressure for a g-spot orgasm unless the dildo is being thrust into me. When someone is thrusting the dildo into me, the only problem that I’ve come across so far is the soft silicone can, and does, pop out of me pretty easily, especially when my muscles are clamping down as a partner pulls the dildo outwards while thrusting.
Theotolax the Freelancer is a rare exception to my frequent stance of “I prefer to use this dildo by inserting it and leaving it alone while using a vibrator externally.” It is a nice feeling toy, but each time I did this, whether I achieved orgasm or not, I found myself wanting bigger and/or firmer inserted afterwards. During my solo use, Theotolax really was just best as a good warm-up dildo.
I do have a bit of a soft spot for Theotolax the Freelancer. It was the first dildo that my boy toy used on me and it was during his first visit to my place. He definitely could use practice using a dildo on me, but even with his inexperience, the thrusting sensation was enough to make me explode with pleasure and accidentally send the dildo flying out of my pussy and onto the floor past his shoulders.

Now, if you’ve read my reviews for a while or you’re a fan of my work, you know that strap-on play is a big and important part of my sex life as well as my professional life. My wife, Cassie, is a size queen who prefers much larger toys than the small Theotolax, so I did not use the dildo on her. However, as she picked up and held the fantasy dildo in her hands, she commented on how she wished it was a larger size so that she could also enjoy it. Perhaps I’ll pick up a larger Theotolax in the future, but it may be a while.
Even though I didn’t try Theotolax in my harness on my wife, I did pass the torch to my wife so that she could try the dildo on me in her strap-on harness. Sadly, the softness and thinness of the base was not enough to keep it in place in her harness when using it on me vaginally. It popped out of the o-ring harness of her RodeoH panty style harness repeatedly, as the neoprene stabilizer we have was too small to fit around this dildo.
Cassie also tried the dildo on me vaginally while going down on me, and she found it easiest to insert it all the way and use her fingers to tap the base rather than trying to hold it and thrust. My more powerful orgasms did push the dildo out of me, but with her shoulders blocking its path, it didn’t go flying quite as far.
Pros:
- available for customization or purchase from in-stock inventory
- 5 sizes available
- made with platinum cure silicone
- easy to clean
- vertical texture is comfortable and easy to take without causing too much overstimulation
- made by a small business in Germany
- comes with a cotton storage bag
- anal safe
- harness compatible (with firmer silicone or larger sizes)
- design is good for g-spot or prostate stimulation (with firmer silicone)
- soft silicone was comfortable to thrust in and out of myself for over an hour
- great beginner friendly shape, size and firmness
Cons:
- the standard shore A00 was too soft for me to comfortably grip the base
- I wish I had selected the firmer silicone
- soft silicone seems to attract hair, dust, lint, etc
- soft silicone also has more drag, so you may need more lube during use
- regular fantasy dildo users may find it lacking in texture

My Final Thoughts on Neotori’s Theotolax the Freelancer Dildo
I really like the design of Theotolax the Freelancer fantasy dildo by Neotori, but I do obviously wish I’d purchased it in their firmer silicone instead. The size and texture are both really comfortable for me to take, even for extended periods of use. I love the pour that they did for me, and I think it was pretty affordably priced at €51.16, plus shipping, for a size small custom MTO pour with a suction cup. Now that I have a better idea of what to expect when ordering from Neotori, I doubt this will be my only order with the European indie toy company!
The size small Theotolax the Freelancer is such a comfortable size and design, so it’s easy for me to suggest this as an excellent beginner friendly option for people curious about fantasy dildo shapes. The vertical texture is very approachable, though advanced users may find it lacking. The size and firmness I selected are a nice combo for anyone who likes small size fantasy dildos or prefers soft, squishy dildos.
I don’t have an affiliate link or anything for Neotori, but I still recommend checking them out! Supporting small businesses always feels good, IMO.

As stated throughout this review, I purchased this dildo. I did reach out to Neotori for a written interview, so they know this review is coming, though I did not hear back from them. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!
