It’s time for dessert! Or a vibrator that looks like dessert, at least. That dessert vibrator is Cake Eater by Natalie’s Toy Box, a tiny treat designed to look like a cute cupcake!

Cake Eater comes from Natalie’s Toy Box, the in-house vibrator brand of woman-owned & operated retailer Like A Kitten. The collection features cute toys that are designed to reduce the stigma of self pleasure. Each toy also was designed with discretion, empowerment, and pleasure in mind and inspired by women that the folks behind Like A Kitten know and love. Some of those very women cover the boxes of the toys in the Natalie’s Toy Box collection!
Have a Bite of Cake Eater
When I said that Cake Eater by Natalie’s Toy Box is a “tiny treat,” I really meant it. This vibrator is quite small, measuring in at 3″ x 2.24″ or 7.62cm x 5.689cm, and weighs only 2.82oz. There are at total of 10 functions, including 3 steady vibration speeds and 7 vibration patterns. It’s a palm-sized cupcake shaped vibrator with a licking tongue on top. The flicking tongue is meant to mimic oral or finger stimulation and can be used externally on nipples, clitoris, anus, or any other erogenous zone you desire.

Available in 3 different colors, Cake Eater is made with body-safe silicone and ABS plastic. I got purple, but there’s also pink and blue available too. The licking vibrator is waterproof submersible and rechargeable. The packaging is colorful and cute, and once opened up, you’ll find a luxurious storage box to hold & store the vibrator when it’s not in use.
Taking Care of Cake Eater
Caring for Cake Eater by Natalie’s Toy Box is overall pretty easy. Once you’ve taken it out of the box, the first step is to charge the vibrator. Plug the USB end of the cord into a charging port and the USB-C end into the magnetic base, then place the vibrator on the charging plate, aligning the small magnets on the base of the vibrator to those on the charging plate. Charging should take about an hour, during which the power button on the vibrator will flash red. After it’s done charging, the light will glow steady. Each charge should last for about 150 minutes!
Charging is just one part of caring for the vibrator. The next part is making sure you use the correct lubricant with the vibrator. Natalie’s Toy Box recommends only using water-based lubes, and specifically mentions not to use silicone lube, massage oil, hand cream, cleaning agents, petroleum, alcohol, or acetone as lubricants and/or for cleaning. You should always clean your sex toys both before and after use, and they recommend using a mild, unscented, antibacterial soap or a specialty toy cleaner. Make sure to stay away from silicone based soaps too.
After you’ve cleaned the vibrator, allow Cake Eater to fully dry before returning it to the custom storage box for safe keeping.

How to Use Cake Eater
Using this vibrator is incredibly simple! It only has one button, which you’ll press and hold for 3 seconds to power on the device. Once the vibe is powered on, the power button will glow red, indicating the power is turned on. Press the button quickly to start the vibrations. Each button press will move to the next vibration function, cycling through all 10 modes one at a time. When you’re done using Cake Eater, press and hold the button for 3 seconds and it will power off.
You can use Cake Eater with or without lubricant, though I’d recommend using some lube for clitoral and/or anal stimulation specifically. I felt that lube helped give it more of the “real oral sex” stimulation I was hoping for, as it allowed the vibrator’s tongue to flick over my clitoris without friction against my hood and/or labia. My personal go-to lube is the H2O original formula from System JO.

Taking a Bite Out of Cake Eater
When I first saw Cake Eater by Natalie’s Toy Box, it was at a tradeshow in Vegas, and I thought it was just so damn cute! I didn’t end up getting it until the following year at the same tradeshow, though. Instead, I got their Little Red Bullet vibe, another from the same collection. I couldn’t stop thinking about the cute cupcake vibrator though, and hoped that the folks over at Like a Kitten would be at the same tradeshow the following year. Lucky for me, they were!
Even though I literally picked the box off the shelf, and I probably also picked the display vibrator up at the show, I was still surprised at the size of it. I must have forgotten how petite this little vibe is! It fits in the palm of my hand and I can wrap most of my hand around this extra small vibrator. This wouldn’t really be a problem, except that with my grip issues & short arms, I couldn’t quite get a comfortable hold on this device to keep it in place. Instead, I relied solely on my thighs holding the vibrator in place whenever I used it on my clitoris. This did work for me, as I do have thick thighs, but may not work for those who have smaller thighs.

Using Cake Eater on my clitoris was a bit of a hit or miss for me. Without lubricant, it took me ages to achieve orgasm. The edges of the flicking tongue also felt a little bit sharp against my labia. The edges aren’t actually sharp, I think it’s just the sensitivity of the area. When I added lubricant, I was able to achieve orgasm much much easier.
The best and fastest way for me to achieve orgasm though? Positioning Cake Eater in such a way that the flicking tongue was doing its thing and the firm ridges of the cupcake icing were rubbing against my anatomy too. With just a little dab of lube, it was the perfect amount of stimulation as my body pushed against it, grinding my hips in every which direction felt good in those moments.
My primary use with Cake Eater vibrator was clitoral stimulation, though I did try it on my nipples too. Nipple stimulation only gets me so far. I tried both before getting aroused and after already being aroused, and while it did feel good, it definitely was not enough on its own to make any significant change in my arousal levels. Cassie’s nipples though? She’s got crazy sensitive nipples, and Cake Eater garnered some blissful reactions from her!
When comparing Cake Eater to some of the other flicking tongue vibrators in my collection, this vibrator does have something going for it that others do not: the tongue is not tucked away inside of a nozzle. The problem with both Delice and Destiny, is that the tongue doesn’t stick out past the mouth of the toy. With both of those vibrators, the flicking tongue is not the main feature of the vibe, whereas that is the main focus and feature of Cake Eater. Delice and Destiny are also clitoral suction vibrators, so the mouth is a required part of the design.

While Cake Eater is absolutely the cutest of the flicking tongue vibrators that I’ve tried, I get the very distinct vibe that this device is aimed at a younger demographic. As someone in my late-30’s on ADHD medication & hormones, I’ve started experiencing some declining sensitivity and the 3 steady vibration speeds on Cake Eater are a little weaker than I like. Like with almost every vibrator I’ve ever tried, I’d happily swap out the vibration patterns with increased steady speeds or a wider range of steady speeds. At the price point of ~$39.99, I think this is an adorable and good option for someone who is newer to vibrators or is more sensitive.
Pros:
- super cute, food themed design
- waterproof submersible
- body-safe silicone
- lifetime manufacturer’s warranty
- custom storage box included
- rechargeable
- 3 super cute, pastel colors
- 10 vibration modes
- affordably priced
- pretty quiet (I couldn’t really hear it when there was a blanket over top)
Cons:
- only 3 steady vibration speeds aren’t enough for me
- petite size is not the most comfortable to hold with my grip issues

The Final Taste of Cake Eater
So overall, Natalie’s Toy Box’s Cake Eater is an aesthetically pleasing vibrator that borders on the side of semi-discreet. The 10 vibration modes weren’t really for me, but my clitoris is a bit picky and wants more intense steady vibrations instead of patterns. The discreet size is nice for travel and the volume isn’t very loud, though the flicking tongue definitely screams “sex toy,” so I don’t know that I can call this vibrator the most discreet option. It may not be the vibrator for me, but I still appreciate the reactions it gave my wife and the orgasms that it gave me!
I would suggest Cake Eater as a gift for someone’s birthday or bachelorette party or the upcoming holidays. I think it’s definitely a good option for someone younger or for someone who is more sensitive than I am. If you’re into nipple stimulation, I do think Cake Eater is a great option since the tongue isn’t tucked away in a nozzle or mouth.
