Meet El Rey

He’s available in a total of 5 sizes, and it’s really important to pay close attention to the sizing when you order! El Rey is a customizable realistic dildo, with 4 firmness options, with 25 color options plus two color effects, and on the Medium-XXL sizes, an optional attachment hole. The attachment hole is not available on the Xtra Small Series. Mr Hankey’s Toys also offers a custom marble color, which is a separate listing from the two different dildo listings themselves.
Mine is an Xtra Small El Rey in 40% Soft and Bubblegum Pink. Here are his measurements:

Even the Xtra Small Series El Rey is still quite a formidable dildo, so seriously, pay attention to sizing! The next size up of El Rey has an 11″ / 27.94cm insertable length – that’s a really big difference between sizes! The subtle thicker in the middle design is perfect for people who love a feeling of fullness, with the Medium size boasting an 8.75″ / 22.23cm circumference in the the middle of the shaft. Whew, talk about a big boy!
Taking Care of El Rey
El Rey is mostly easy to clean, but if you live somewhere with hard water, expect to have to run a fingernail around the foreskin on the tip. Throw him in some warm water and wash him with a gentle, unscented soap to give him a basic clean before and after use. If you use oil-based lubricants with Mr Hankey’s Toys, you may need to do a deeper clean from time to time. Deeper cleaning is still easy though: boil for a few minutes, run through the dishwasher on the top shelf without detergent on a sanitize setting, or soak in a 10% bleach/water mix.
Lubricant wise, Mr Hankey’s Toys says that their dildos are compatible with all types of lubrication, including silicone. They do recommend doing a spot test to see if there’s a bad reaction and then properly washing off the lube the next day. According to their site, they are not responsible for any damage to their toys due to lubrication or improper storage. Personally, I’ll just stick to water-based lubes!
My Experiences with El Rey
I really thought that Mr Hankey’s Toys El Rey was going to be my “boyfriend dick” when I first unwrapped him. By “boyfriend dick,” what I mean is a dildo that I use with way more frequency than other dildos. A comfort dildo, if you will. A go-to dick.
But the reality is that even the subtle thicker in the middle shaft is still a lot to take. I used El Rey for a custom video that involved me masturbating for almost an entire hour, and about halfway through filming the video, I realize that he was a bit too thick for such a long period of repeated in & out penetration. His girth also caused me to fill up with air, so I had to hold my pussy open between cuts to let some of the air out to avoid queefing. Oops!
The shape is really unassuming, and I know I’m not the only whose ended up feeling surprised by El Rey’s thicker in the middle shaft. As a semi-realistic dildo, El Rey has a lot of texture. From the uncut head with the foreskin pulled down slightly to the veins and skin folds along the shaft, there’s a lot to enjoy on him. I really love all the texture, especially all of it closest to the tip. It makes for excellent g-spot stimulation!
When my wife tried El Rey anally, she loved the shape, but the size and firmness weren’t right for her. She prefers a more firm dildo with a larger size, but she made do the best she could. Final Verdict on El Rey
Mr Hankey’s Toys never disappoints me, and El Rey is no exception the rule. I love the realistic shape and texture, though it may be too intense for some users. The thicker in the middle shaft is subtle but can feel like a lot after a while, especially if you’re not used to it.
Even with the Xtra Small Series option from Mr Hankey’s Toys, I don’t think El Rey is a good beginner dildo. The size, texture, and shape are a lot to handle, and may be overstimulating to someone without experience. This is definitely a dildo better suited to more experienced users, regardless of which size you get El Rey in.
