Love to Love Dildolls Dildo Review   New!

Ok, I’ll admit it: when it comes to “basic” dildos, I’m almost never interested. What do you mean there’s no texture? No unique or interesting shape? Can I at least have cute, vibrant colors? The answer to that last question is YES! Love to Love caught my eye with their line of Dildolls. They’re so cute, even if they are also so very smooth. I needed to try this line of cuties, even if I usually prefer something with more texture.

Are you ready to swoon?

Meet the Love to Love Dildolls Nightfall Dildo

Made with body safe silicone, Love to Love’s Dildolls line is designed for those who are seeking something more colorful and vibrant when it comes to their pleasure. Equipped with a powerful suction cup base, Love to Love offers 9 different color variations for the Dildolls. Designed for g-spot or prostate stimulation, the Dildolls have a raised tip with a smooth shaft. Aside from the ridge that separates the head from the shaft, there is no texture to these dildos.

I got the coloration Nightfall, which is a semi-opaque, bright, teal-ish blue with iridescent star shaped glitter inside (an inclusion, for those familiar with terminology used in the indie toy/fantasy toy community). The other colorations primarily feature various shades of pink, which I love, but I felt myself drawn to this color. As I write this, one of the colors, Utopia, available is also now available in 4 total sizes, though the other 8 colors are only available in a single size. That single size is “Medium”, which measures 14.8cm / 5.83″ of insertable length and 3.5cm / 1.38″ diameter. I do hope that Love to Love starts making the full range of sizes on all of the Dildolls dildos, though I imagine it will be decided based on which coloration(s) are the top seller.

The suction cup base of the dildos also make them anal friendly and harness compatible. Similar to another dildo I recently reviewed, I would only recommend using a metal o-ring with the Dildolls. Between the flexibility of the dildo’s base and how easily some non-metal o-ring stretch, I imagine this dildo could pop out of a strap-on harness if the o-ring stretches too much or if the base does not stay flush against the body.

How to Care for Dildolls Dildos

Good news! This dildo is easy peasy to care for. Only use a water-based lubricant, and make sure you wash the dildo before and after each use. Use warm water and a soap that is antibacterial, unscented, and not made with silicone to rub down the cute dildo, and allow to fully dry before storing. Since it’s made with body safe silicone, you can also boil it in water for up to 10 minutes, making sure the dildo does not rest against the sides or bottom of the pan, or you can soak in a 1 part bleach/10 parts water mixture for up to 10 minutes. If your dishwasher has a sanitize setting, you can also run it through a sanitize setting without detergent.

Because this dildo is made with platinum cure silicone, it should not rest against or touch dildos made with any other materials. TPE, jelly and other materials may melt to the dildo, causing irreparable damage to the toy. You should also avoid sharp textures against the toy, as well as not biting, scratching, or pulling at the dildo.

With the suction cup base, you may feel tempted to pull the dildo straight off the surface it is suctioned to, but please don’t do that. This can cause the dildo to tear! Instead, gently press a finger against the base of the dildo where it’s touching the surface, pushing until the suction is released.

A Quick Note About Inclusions in Silicone Dildos

After I got my first dildo with inclusions in it, I was curious about how it was done and the safety of inclusions. Since some of the Love to Love Dildolls dildos feature glitter inclusions in them, including Nightfall, I want to bring this up again. Love to Love uses cosmetic grade glitters in their dildos, however glitters may be made with plastic that may have sharp edges. As dildos move, bend and get put through the ringer, there is a possibility of glitter creating micro tears or micro cuts that can eventually grow larger.

This, in theory, would take time to happen. I don’t know if the stars inside Nightfall have those sharp edges, since cosmetic grade glitters are made differently than crafting glitters. It’s just not something I can confirm with 100% certainty. However, you should still keep an eye out for any micro tears on the usable length of the dildo. Just in case!

ok, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way…

My Experiences with Love to Love Dildolls

I think I’ve established that I sometimes lead with my eyes, often selecting toys that are just too cute, pretty, colorful, whatever for me to ignore. Heck, you may even remember my confession that toys that I find ugly in color just sit on my “to review” shelf untouched for an embarrassingly long time. Hopefully, you won’t be shocked when I tell you that I wanted a Love to Love Dildolls of my own because they’re so damn cute.

What I did not expect was that 1-the packaging would be just as cute, and 2-that I’d end up being totally unbothered by the lack of texture because the shape was overall just that good. Packaging wise, it comes in a semi-transparent, iridescent plastic tube that’s just as colorful as the Dildolls lineup itself. Shape wise… well…

This dildo was made for thrusting. It didn’t matter if it was long thrusts or short thrusts, hard thrusts or soft thrusts, as long as that slight curve was aimed towards my g-spot, it was only a matter of time before I was cumming. The way that head hit my g-spot was exactly what I want out of a g-spot dildo. I didn’t even have the brain cells left to care about texture by the time I was done orgasming with the Dildolls dildo.

Whenever I used the Love to Love Dildolls dildo, it didn’t matter if I was using a vibrator on my clitoris, or my wife was going down on me, or she was using a strap-on harness to top me, as long as Dildolls Nightfall was thrusting inside of me, I was in bliss.

On the flip side, however, using the Dildolls Nightfall dildo to just insert to feel full while using a clitoral vibrator on myself was uninspiring. Sure, I could feel it in there, but that was it. There aren’t any distinctive characteristics, like texture or a shaft swell, that sent me swooning and cumming. It was just there. It isn’t thick enough to give me the feeling of fullness that I love, and without any movement, the g-spot head just sat there.

Not all dildos are made for every type of use, I guess. Which is fine, because when you have a collection like mine, there are always plenty of options!

For solo play, I was able to get a comfortable grip on the base of the Dildolls Nightfall dildo. The base is a good size that didn’t cause me any issues to hold, but I found that I preferred using the dildo attached to a suction cup ergonomic handle. Though I could hold the base comfortably, I needed to be in certain positions to comfortably thrust the dildo into myself for more than a couple moments. The handle enabled me to thrust the dildo longer and in more comfortable positions for my body.

The suction cup base also meant that I could use the dildo hands-free in the shower. Once it was suctioned to the wall and inserted into myself, I really loved riding it as the water cascaded down my body. I really love shower sex and masturbation! I appreciated the firmness of the dildo, partnered with the slight curve and that delicious ridge as I bent over slightly in the shower, with my legs spread as I rocked against the dildo.

I only used the Dildolls dildo vaginally, as the head is thicker than I am ready for anally. However, the dildo is anal friendly thanks to the flared suction cup base. The same flared base also makes this dildo harness compatible, either with an o-ring strap-on harness or a suction cup harness. If you’re using a harness with an o-ring, you’ll want to use a metal o-ring, as the silicone o-rings can easily stretch and the dildo may pop out of the harness.

The last thing I want to bring up is the firmness of the Love to Love Dildolls dildos. The Love to Love site does not mention a shore rating for the silicone they use, and I would consider this dildo firm. When comparing it to some other firm dildos in my collection, it felt most similar to the firmness of a couple toys we have in shore 10A. Personally, I think 10A is great for g-spot or p-spot dildos, like Dildolls, when the sole purpose of a toy is stimulating those spots.

Pros:

  • 9 cutesy, whimsical color options
  • strong suction cup base for hands-free use
  • semi-realistic head & coronal ridge are great for g-spot stimulation (or prostate!)
  • harness compatible
  • anal safe
  • super easy to clean
  • firm silicone for better g-spot & p-spot stimulation
  • approachable size & shape for new toy users

Cons:

  • lack of texture may not appeal to some
  • only one color of the Dildolls line is available in multiple sizes currently

The Final Word on Love to Love Dildolls

Despite my preference for textured dildos, the Love to Love Dildolls line of cutesy dildos won me over. Sure, it was aesthetics that originally caught my eye, but after testing out the Dildolls Nightfall dildo, I can confidently say that it’s a fantastic dildo for anyone looking for g-spot or p-spot stimulation. I’m glad that there’s a suction cup that’s compatible with my ergonomic handle, and that the dildo is both anal safe & harness compatible. It may be simple, but this dildo is well designed and I’m a big fan of the range of colors available!

Love to Love’s Dildolls line is a great option for anyone who gives off those cutesy or whimsical vibes (yourself included), and I think it’s an approachable shape and size for those who are new to using sex toys. The price is pretty fair, coming in at $50 for the “medium” size. I’m glad to see them adding additional sizes for one of the colorations, and I hope to see more sizes added for more colors later down the line.
