Liberator BonBon Sex Toy Mount Review

Have you ever found yourself wondering how to easier ride a dildo or vibrator that doesn’t have a suction cup base? Want something that allows you to ride outside of the shower or bathtub? Liberator has the perfect option for you: the BonBon hands-free sex toy mount!

Liberator is the sex furniture company. They make everything from toy mounts to sex pillows to sex blankets to actual furniture. Having used a couple of their pillows and mounts myself, I figured it was time for me to review one of them!

Meet the Liberator BonBon Sex Toy Mount

Liberator BonBon is a sculpted pillow for mounting sex toys, allowing users to ride their toys hands-free. It features a washable, soft microvelvet cover made from 100% polyester, and a supportive polyurethane foam interior. Between the cover and the foam is a moisture-resistant liner that can also be removed and washed. It’s available in 5 different colors: Black, Red, Rose, Grey and Teal.

Measuring in at 12″ x 15″ x 8.5″, this sex toy mount is designed for riding or straddling toys. On the rounded top of the toy is a pocket for securing a toy. It’s compatible with a variety of toys, including dildos, magic wands, and other vibrators.

While this was designed as a sex toy mount, the BonBon doubles as a sex pillow or wedge! Use it to help elevate your hips during missionary or doggy, mount it with a toy inserted for double penetration, or just let your imagination run wild as you try out different positions with your partner.

Pros:

  • Machine washable cover is soft on the skin
  • Firm core provides ample support and stability during solo usage
  • 5 color options
  • Allows for both solo and partnered use
  • Pocket keeps toys in place

Cons:

  • Short people may find the 8.5″ height is too high to comfortably ride
  • Toys inserted between the inner lining & outer cover may not be as secure, depending on base size

Using the Sex Toy Mount

It’s really easy to use the Liberator BonBon! Set it on the floor, a bed, or couch and slide your sex toy into the pocket on the rounded top of the mount. Depending on the size of the base, you may find it more secure to push the base fully into the pocket or you may find it easier to put the base between the cover and the liner.

I found that small suction cup bases were the least secure when inserting between the cover and the liner. The cover didn’t really help keep them in place, though toys with larger suction cup bases or wide but thin bases did stay secure. For reference, I tried the Solina Toys XL size between the cover and the liner, which was not very secure there. I also tried RealCock 2 “Dirk” model, and that one did stay securely.

Once you’ve selected your toy and inserted it into the pocket or between the cover & liner, squat over it or get on your knees, and then insert the toy into yourself. Then take it for a ride!

Easy Clean Up

After you’ve gone for a pleasurable ride, cleaning the Liberator BonBon is very easy. Depending on how messy you got, you may be able to spot clean the cover, or you may need to remove it for a more thorough washing. Unzip the zipper and remove it from the mount. Since the cover is machine washable, you can toss it in with your next load of laundry or you can wash it by hand.

There is potential that the liner will also get a bit dirty, but thankfully it also has a zipper for removing to wash it! I found that washing it with warm water & a gentle soap was enough to get any lube or fluids off it.

Shorties, Beware

The Liberator BonBon is not for us. I’m 5’2″ and struggled to use this as a toy mount comfortably. 8.5″ doesn’t seem like a lot of height, but every single dildo I put in the mount was uncomfortably deep. And riding? Oof. My knees were not able to give me quite enough height nor movement to escape that uncomfortable depth. Honestly, I didn’t even try squatting and riding, because that is not a position that I find comfortable or pleasurable at all. I get to distracted by the ache in my knees to squat & ride.

Ok, so what about a magic wand? I tried a full size wand, the Maia Toys Nala wand, and the head missed my clitoris entirely and instead was hitting my fat apron, several inches higher up my body.

Meanwhile, my 6’1″ wife was able to ride the Liberator BonBon with ease and no depth discomfort. It didn’t matter if she was on her feet, squatting & riding, or on her knees riding. Her legs have the height that made that 8.5″ height not only tolerable, but also comfortable. I’m a bit jealous tbh.

Final Thoughts on Liberator BonBon

While it may not have quite worked for me, the Liberator BonBon is a good sex toy mount. It’s well made, will keep your toys securely in place, and very easy to clean.

As a sex pillow, however, the Liberator BonBon is a nice addition to the bedroom. It was comfortable to bend over or to put under my hips. While it was under my hips and I was on my back, it put me at an incredible angle for hitting my g-spot while being penetrated, and well. I don’t need to tell you how wonderful that was!

The price may be off putting for some, but I’ve had my Liberator BonBon since 2016 and it is still in great condition. The foam doesn’t seem to squish any more than my wife’s newer BonBon that she purchase before we moved in together. It’s a well made product and will last you for years. With that in mind, I’d say that the BonBon is absolutely worth the $119.99 price tag!
