Every time I try a new dildo from an indie company, I swear I just fall more and more in love with the niche part of the sex toy industry. That’s what happened when I tried Ecstasy by HumpToy for the first time! I actually tried this dildo before I tried Charm, but Charm was a new release for the indie toy company, so I wanted to time my review to its launch. Ecstasy is another sensual work of silicone art from French brand HumpToy.
When it comes to non-phallic dildos, there’s nobody doing it quite like the French. Seriously. I don’t know what it is about France, but they’ve now given me two of my favorite indie toy companies that make non-phallic designs: Fera Daemon and HumpToy. I’ve shared a bit of info on HumpToy before, so I won’t dive deep into the brand again. Just know that I love their simple and elegant designs. I’m ecstatic to share another review of a dildo from this European indie toy company!
Get To Know Ecstacy by HumpToy
Though Ecstasy by HumpToy is not marketed as a unicorn horn, the shape is fairly similar. With a rounded, tapered tip, the design features soft, spiraling rounded ridges down to an anal friendly suction-cup base. One of the things I love about HumpToy is that all of their dildos come with a suction cup base, and many of their sizes will fit onto an ergonomic, suction-cup handle for easier thrusting during solo play. The design also features some very delicate line designs on the rounded ridges, which are barely raised.

The spiraling design of Ecstasy may look intimidating, and it kind of is, but damn does that texture feel good! With 3 difference sizes to choose from, HumpToy’s Ecstasy is easily customized to your desires. They offer 4 different firmness levels, to give buyers the ability to customize their pleasure: Soft 00-30, Medium Soft 00-50, Medium 10A, and Firm 20A. By selecting a softness that works for you, using Ecstasy should fill you with pleasure! As you customize a toy, they break down which firmness might be right for you, based on size and use.
I got a size medium in medium-soft firmness, which is pretty squishy and has some decent floppiness to it while still maintaining its upright design. The size medium has the following dimensions:
- Total Length: 7.5″ / 19cm
- Insertable Length: 6.5″ / 16.5cm
- Tip Diameter: 1″ / 2.5cm
- Maximum Diameter: 1.9″ / 4.7cm
- Maximum Circumference: 6.5″ / 17cm
- Recommended O-Ring Size: 2.25″ / 5.715cm

How to Care For HumpToy Ecstasy Dildo
Because HumpToy makes all of their sex toys with body safe silicone, they’re really easy to care for! Only use a water-based or natural oil-based lubricant with the Ecstasy dildo, and make sure to give it a good wash both before and after each use. To wash the dildo, use an unscented antibacterial soap that does not contain silicone. You may need to gently run a fingernail alone the spiraling valley of the dildo, or you can use a soft toothbrush instead.
If you need to give your toys a deeper clean, you can immerse your dildos in boiling water for a few minutes, making sure they do not rest against the sides or bottom of the pot, or you can soak them in a 1 part bleach:10 parts water mixture. Just remember, don’t boil bleach!

Storing your toys is also important! Silicone is strong, but it can still be torn, scratched, etc. Make sure not to store your toys against any abrasive surfaces and don’t purposefully bite, scratch, or tear at the dildo. When you’re un-suctioning the toy from a surface, don’t just yank at it trying to pull it off! Instead, gently push into the base where the dildo touches the surface to release the suction, then once the seal is broken, you can remove it.
My Experiences with Ecstasy by HumpToy
I asked Kezia, the owner of HumpToy, to surprise me with colors for each of the toys she sent for our collaboration, Ecstacy, Charm and Joy. Asking for surprise pours from indie companies is one of my favorite things to do, and I just love HumpToy’s pours. Every time I browse the inventory of her site, I see so many beautiful pours and I’m in awe of the way she pours toys. I particularly love her use of pinks, pairing them with gold, or pearl, or cream, or red, etc… Honestly, I just love any pastel, purple, or pink coloration she makes. So when I saw the way she poured Ecstasy, I was so happy! She did a peachy-pink that fades down to a soft, warm gold and it’s stunning! I believe the colors she used are 8 (Pêche) and 13 (Crème), and they are sensual together.
The first time I saw Ecstasy on the list of models available from HumpToy, I did not notice the etchings on the toy. It wasn’t until after I requested the model that I noticed them, and they’re a really lovely addition to the design. They’re very delicate lines, that start just below the tip and following the spiral down to the base. They’re so delicate that I can feel them with my fingers, but during use, they are hardly noticeable to me. The etching is so barely raised that I can’t even measure it with the basic tools I have handy.

I will admit: the medium-soft firmness is a bit challenging to insert sometimes, but since the taper is so narrow at the tip, I’m able to guide the dildo in with a finger or two if needed. Once it’s inserted, the rounded spiral design of the toy is very stimulating, even in the medium-soft. I’m glad that I didn’t get this one in medium, because I think it would have been a bit too firm for me. As is, whenever I thrust the dildo into myself, or when Cassie thrust it into me, I needed a good amount of warm-up and a lot of lubricant to not get over-stimulated. Though they are rounded, those peaks and valleys have a fair amount of distance between them, so the texture may take some warming up to.
As long as I had proper warm-up and lube, using Ecstasy was mind-blowingly delicious. I love the feeling of long, slow thrusts with the dildo, especially when paired with oral sex or a bullet vibrator. The more I use Ecstasy, the more I love it.
There are some dildos out there that are designed for thrusting or stretching or texture, and Ecstasy by HumpToy is designed for all three. Though the tapered design does start off thin, once it’s at its maximum circumference, this dildo made my pussy feel like it was wide open. I loved slowly working myself open with Ecstasy, giving myself slow thrusts, getting deeper each time, until finally I reached the base. I’d then just leave it there while I worked my clit with a bullet vibe. It was fantastic for helping me prepare before taking a larger toy or partner, too.

It’s so good that I want to use it in multiple ways each time I play with Ecstasy. I think I’ve used my ergonomic handle with this dildo more times than any other suction-cup toy in my collection. The medium size Ecstasy fits perfectly on the ergonomic handle, and after I’ve guided the dildo in, the handle really helps me thrust the dildo until I’m ready to just lie back and feel my hole stretched open as I use a vibrator externally. Though the texture can feel like a lot to handle when I’m feeling extra sensitive, I always want to feel this dildo thrust into me.
Though Cassie and I did not test this dildo on her, nor did we do a strap-on test with it, I did still measure the toy for harness compatibility. It is harness compatible, but I oddly do not have a great o-ring size for it myself. My 2″ / 5.08cm o-ring fit, but there was barely any room for harness straps. My 2.5″ / 6.35cm o-ring was too big, and apparently, I just don’t have a 2.25″ / 5.715cm o-ring! The larger o-ring had plenty of space for strap-on harness straps, but it wasn’t a snug fit, so for me, that’s less than ideal. Thankfully, the smaller size o-ring is what several of my RodeoH harnesses have equipped and it fit well into the Ouch! by Shots panty harness with adjustable o-ring.
I also did not test this dildo anally. The taper is still quite a bit more than I can handle, and I’m not sure I’m ready for this type of texture anally anyway. Cassie prefers a more firm dildo anally, so we did not give this one a go on her either.

Pros:
- available for customization or in inventory drops
- customers can choose their size, firmness, and colors when customizing
- made with body-safe silicone
- strong suction cup base
- easy to clean
- non-phallic design
- good for thrusting and stretching
- tapered design for comfortable insertion
- anal friendly
Cons:
- soft silicone attracts lint, dust, hair, etc
- texture may be too intense for some
- medium-soft on the medium may be too soft/squishy for easy anal insertion

My Final Thoughts on Ecstasy by HumpToy
I can’t get enough of Ecstasy dildo by HumpToy. It’s an elegant design that is pleasurable as hell, IMO. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a dildo with this type & depth of texture combined, and while I was a little unsure if I’d enjoy the dildo vaginally, I ended up loving it. I love using it for thrusting, I love using it to stretch myself open, I love using it solo or with a partner. I just really love the dildo! Plus, Kezia at HumpToy really did a phenomenal job with the pour. It’s really easy for me to see the love she puts into her products, and I love having them on display in my apartment just as much as I love using them.
If I were to recommend HumpToy Ecstasy dildo to someone, I’d suggest it to people who have a bit of experience since the texture and taper can be a lot. There are more approachable designs from HumpToy, such as Wonder and Rapture, for those looking for a less overstimulating option to buy from this indie sex toy company.
I don’t have an affiliate link or anything for HumpToy, but I really hope you check out their shop anyway. Their designs are sexy and good quality, and it’s really fun to open a delivery box after you customize a toy for yourself.

I was gifted the Ecstasy dildo as part of my collaboration with HumpToy, in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions I’ve shared are 100% my own.
