Flirty Dawg Sea Monster Tentacle Levaina Review   New!

Ya’ll! OMG! I won a coloring contest and my prize was the fantasy dildo I colored! A few months ago, Flirty Dawg was hosting a coloring contest on BlueSky. The rules were pretty simple: download one of their outline drawings from their site and color it however you would want your version of the model to look. Ever the sucker for animal prints and neon colors, I submitted a teal to magenta fade with zebra stripes on Flirty Dawg’s model Levaina.

And I won! I was really excited to win and receive the coloration that I made. Not only because I won a fun contest, but because that meant that I was going to get to try out a toy from company I’d never purchased from before.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Flirty Dawg. None of the reviewers I regularly read had anything to say about them, and while they do have a review page on their website, those weren’t exactly filled with the information I was hoping to find. Even now as I write this review, I still haven’t found reviews for Flirty Dawg outside of their own page and some reviews on Amazon. I’m a big fan of reading or watching reviews before buying from a company, so as enticing as some of their pours are, I wasn’t ready to purchase.

Meet Flirty Dawg

With multiple award nominations under their belt, Flirty Dawg is an indie toy company based in the USA. Like many of the indie toy companies I’ve talked about before, Flirty Dawg specializes in highly textured fantasy toys, including dildos, masturbators, and sheaths. Their current catalog has 25 different models available for customization, as well as a squishy, some minis, a bamboo gag, stickers and a cotton storage bag. Two of their models, Jeanie and Lucius, were nominated by the AltStar Awards for Best Sex Toy Stroker and Best Sex Toy Sculpt, with Jeanie winning the Fan Favorite Stroker at the 2025 award show. While Flirty Dawg does have 17 different dildos alone to customize, the owner of Flirty Dawg shared that Amur is their most popular model, followed by Jeanie and Lucius.

Flirty Dawg offers both customizations and inventory drops, with inventory drops featuring unique colorations that aren’t available as customizations. When customizing toys, you are able to customize your size, firmness, and colors, with add-on options available for select dildos, like a suction cup base or a vac-u-lock hole or even cum tubes (not every model has every option). As far as colorations, each piece does have individual coloration options available, pictured on each listing, or you can select “Custom”. With the “Custom” option, you can select from single color solid, fade, mix, twist, split, or surprise. I’ve seen a few of their washes on social media, and I have to say that their use of color is really fun, especially on their highly textured toys.

Their silicone firmness options range from 00-10 super-soft up to 10 shore firm, giving customers a wide range of firmnesses to fit their needs. Though I have not ordered a custom from Flirty Dawg, I did ask the owner if customers are able to send images for inspiration if they want customs outside of the offered list of custom options, to which the owner let me know that yes, customers can contact them for unique custom options.

As an online business, Flirty Dawg doesn’t just sell on their own website, though that is the only place for ordering custom pieces. Flirty Dawg also has some of their products listed on Amazon and eBay, however they are not fully customizable the way their products are on their own site.

Let’s Go Deeper with Levaina

Called the Sea Monster Tentacle Levaina, the fantasy dildo features some intense texture all around. With a midshaft curve, Levaina has ridges that run in an upward, horizontal pattern up the toy, each with small bumps on the ridges, with a deep groove that runs vertically up the underside of the shaft. The top of the shaft has suckers that go from large at the base, shrinking in size as they run up the shaft. It also features a curved tip, perfect for g-spot or p-spot stimulation.

Levaina comes in two different sizes, a 7″ / 17.78cm or 8″ / 20.32cm. I got the larger version, which has the following dimensions:

I’m not sure which firmness level the Levaina I won is, but based on the squish level, I think it’s either 00-20 or 00-30. There’s a good deal of squish throughout the toy, and the softer silicone helps lessen the intensity of the smaller, bumpy texture along the ridges.

Caring for Levaina

Given how much texture Levaina by Flirty Dawg has, cleaning it can seem a bit daunting. I keep a soft toothbrush by the sink that is specifically for cleaning toys. With an unscented, anti-bacterial soap and some warm water, I run the brush along all of the texture after each use. You should also wash your toys before each use, to get rid of any lint, hair, dust, dried lube, etc that may be stuck to the surface of the toy.

When it comes time for a deeper clean, there are a couple of options, since this is not a motorized toy:

• soak in a 1 part bleach, 10 parts water mixture for around 10 minutes
• boil in water for 5-10 minutes, making sure the toy does not rest on the sides or bottom of the pan
• run through the dishwasher on a sanitize setting without detergent

Although Flirty Dawg doesn’t have information on their site about lubricant compatibility or storage, I think it’s safe to say that you should only use water-based lubricants with their toys. Avoid using silicone-based lube or silicone hybrid lubes to reduce the risk of damaging your sex toy.

Storage wise, soft silicone is stretchy and durable, however you can still damage it. Do not store touching toys made with non-platinum cure silicone, such as TPE/TPR, jelly, peroxide cure silicone, etc. Flirty Dawg does sell cotton storage bags for safe keeping, though you can also use a plastic ziploc bag. Also, you should take care not to store your silicone toys against any abrasive or overly textured surfaces, such as wire racks, to avoid permanent indents from the surface.

My Experiences with Levaina

I tend to go for toys that are on the lower end of the texture spectrum, but I’m also a sucker for tentacles. I choose Levaina as the model for the coloring contest because one can never have too many tentacles! The texture was daunting, and that was before I realized that there are tiny little bumps all over the ridges. It was only when the package from Flirty Dawg arrived that I realized just how textured Levaina really is!

As I mentioned earlier, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from Flirty Dawg. The package arrived with a couple of stickers, a mini version of their model Dragon Dorian, a storage bag, and a tiny silicone flower. The quality of the silicone and the toy overall are on-par with other brands I’ve either purchased from or have received gifts from, with a well-trimmed based and no obvious issues. The silicone has more of a matte finish than a glossy/shiny finish, which I know some folks prefer. I’m realizing that I don’t have as much of a preference between glossy vs matte silicone.

I usually opt for a 00-50 level firmness, but since I wasn’t able to choose the firmness, I ended up with a firmness that is much softer than that. I’m thankful for that, though, as the texture is quite intense for me but the softness of the silicone made the texture much more comfortable to take.

And whoooo, did I take Levaina! I took all of its insertable length, down to the base. The texture was intense for me, and I really had to warm up a lot before I was able to handle any sort of thrusting. At first, I would insert Levaina and then use my thighs to hold it in place while I used a vibrator on my clitoris, then I built up to rocking my hips to give me more of a thrusting sensation. Once I felt comfortable with that, without feeling overstimulated, I started doing longer and/or faster thrusts.

Ya’ll. That little, tiny curve at the tip of the tentacle is so, so good. The way it caressed my g-spot when thrusting, or even when I just had it inserted & rocked my hips with it inside, was orgasmic. My body trembled and shook with pleasure, and I regretted not putting down my sex blanket because it was just enough stimulation that I gushed all over my bed and had to change the sheets.

It is that good.

The top half of the tentacle has a delightful bloat to it as well, which really gives a nice feeling of fullness. If you’ve read some of my other reviews of dildos, you may remember that I love toys that have some thickness along the shaft. Levaina’s thickness on the top half of the shaft is only ~1-1.5cm of difference from the narrow bend mid-shaft, but for me, it’s a noticeable change in girth that really made me feel full when the toy was partially inserted during solo play.

When Cassie used the dildo on me, the shape was easy for her to hold onto the base while going down on me. She gets a bit excited when going down on me and dildo fucking me, though, so warming up to the point of comfortable thrusting was, again, really important for my pleasure. She did not try strap-on fucking me with the dildo, as Cassie does not have a harness that can accommodate this specific fantasy dildo.

Between the size and the firmness of Levaina, Cassie has not opted to try the dildo yet. I’ve also not had the opportunity to use Levaina while strap-on topping. If/when that changes, I’ll try to update this review with her thoughts.

Final Thoughts on Flirty Dawg’s Levaina Tentacle Dildo

I’ll admit that the texture of Flirty Dawg’s Sea Monster Tentacle Levaina was something I was a bit worried would be overstimulating, but once the fantasy sex toy arrived and I was able to use it, all my worries went out the door. It’s a well designed dildo that is highly textured and perfect for g-spot or prostate stimulation. Although I didn’t have any expectations or pre-conceived notions about the model itself or Flirty Dawg as a brand, I have to say that I’m impressed! They’ve been easy to communicate with, the toy arrived in discreet packaging, and it’s a well made dildo that has worked pleasurably for me.
