Creature Feature Toys Zian Review

I am so hyped for this review, ya’ll. Not only is it my first time reviewing a toy from Creature Feature Toys, but the pour is really special too! More on that later in the review, though. 

Meet Creature Feature Toys

Based in Connecticut, Creature Feature Toys (CFT) is a queer owned indie toy company that makes a variety of fantasy dildos, grinders, packers, and a newly released stroker. As a team of monster lovers, they wanted to create toys for fellow monster lovers to enjoy. 

Many of their models were originally sculpted with clay, but that’s not the only thing I love about them. CFT is also a big believer in fair pay for labor, reducing waste, and giving back to the community & planet. I love this ethical approach from any company, but especially indie companies that don’t have the resources that mainstream brands have.  

All of their toys are made with body-safe materials, and all of their hand-painted toys come with a 1-year warranty against delamination. Delamination is the separation of two layers of silicone from each other. All of CFT’s hand-painted details are done on the mold prior to pouring, and they’ve tested the durability of their method to last at least 1 year. 

They’re sticklers for using body-safe pigments too – only sourcing from ethical businesses, while also following FDA guidelines on materials approved for cosmetic use. All of their pigments are also vegan friendly. 

If you’re ordering a custom fantasy toy from CFT, you’re able to customize model, size, firmness, and color style. Their product listings also have the option for a “Complex Pour”, in which you’re able to select options like drips, shimmer colors, glow-in-the-dark colors, or hand-painted designs on the base. There’s also a spot to add notes for complex customs. 

Get to Know Zian

Zian is a humanoid, uncut dildo that has saggy balls and a mostly smooth shaft with some subtle vein texture. The texture on Zian is fairly minimal and also on the realistic end of the spectrum. With the squishiness of the medium firmness, the texture isn’t particularly noticeable except for the coronal ridge, which still isn’t that prominent given the uncircumcised design. 

Currently, Zian is available in two sizes: small and medium. I got mine in a size medium, with medium firmness (00-50). The ballsack doesn’t have a ton of swing to it, but I think if you went with either Super Soft (00-20) or Soft (00-30), they’d have more swing. You’re also able to select Firm (10A) for this model.

The medium size Zian is 7.5” in total length with 6” of insertable length. The maximum circumference is 6” and the maximum diameter is 1.91”. The small size is 5.4” total length, 4.15” usable length with 4.5” max circumference and 1.5” max diameter. 

About the Pour

I don’t really talk in-depth about pours from indie toy companies, but this particular toy needs a moment in the spotlight. Why is this one so special, out of all the other cool pours I’ve shared? Because I helped design this one!

That’s right! The pour I have on my Zian dildo by Creature Feature Toys is a collaboration Made-To-Order (MTO) pour that is available from CFT for this month only! For the entire month of July 2025, you can get this pour that I helped design on any of CFT’s models. First, you pick your model, then you pick size and firmness, then you pick if you want it with or without a drip. They will make a hand-painted dildo with stars, shooting stars, and a moon on a toy of your choosing! 

Each toy features the hand-painted design, plus glow in the dark (GITD) and UV reactive. It’s got lots of shimmers in the purples and blacks that swirl around the toy that really give depth to the pour. CFT hand mixes colors and hand-paints the designs, so it’s very unlikely that yours will look exactly the same as mine even if you get the same size & firmness. Each toy is made to order, so there will be some slight variations. 

Our collaboration doesn’t stop there, though. Tailends Studios, a sort of sibling brand to Creature Feature Toys, also designed a skirt based off the MTO! If you’re familiar with my porn, you may know that I love to dress matchy-matchy with my costars. Well, my love of matchy-matchy doesn’t end there! A dildo and skirt that match?! I’m swooning! 

The skirt is a nice, light-weight fabric that moves really well. “Skirt go spinny,” as they say! It’s hand printed and sewn, and made to order. If you’d like to see how the skirt moves, check out my video on IG. 

And that’s not all. 

As we were planning this collaboration, they offered to send me the royalties of all sales made on the MTO, however I asked them if they would donate the royalties to SWAID Collective instead. If you’re not familiar, SWAID is a mutual-aid non-profit that provides harm reduction supplies and microgrants to sex workers in need in the US. I volunteer for them, and since moving to a different continent, I’ve tried to find ways that I can still contribute to a cause that’s really important to me.

Care Instructions

Even though there are hand-painted details on this pour by Creature Feature Toys, cleaning doesn’t really change much. Wash before and after use with a gentle, unscented soap or toy cleaner. Some soaps contain silicone, so double check that the soap you’re using does not. Avoid abrasives, harsh chemicals and other cleaning solutions, as they could cause the surface of the toy to deteriorate. 

For a deeper clean, you can boil the toy for 5-10 minutes, or you can soak it in a 10:1 water:bleach mixture. Do not boil bleach!! You can also run the toy through the dishwasher on a sanitization setting without detergent. 

CFT recommends only using water-based lubricants with their toys. You can use a condom, just make sure that the condom is not lubricated with silicone. 

My Experiences with Zian

Once I was done swooning over the pour and matching skirt, I was able to really appreciate Zian’s design as a toy. I picked Zian from CFT’s model catalog because 1 – too much texture is often overstimulating for me, 2 – I already had picked out a different pour to go on Kose, another model that I was getting, and 3 – I wanted a toy that had floppy balls.

There’s just something about a dildo that has floppy balls that made me think it could potentially give the sensation of balls slapping against my anatomy during use. I missed that feeling! Although my wife had an orchiectomy prior to our move, her testicles decreased in size over the years since starting her medical transition. Thankfully, Zian’s ballsack is not really a part of the base and they’re free-floating. 

With the medium firmness, the balls aren’t quite as floppy as I hoped, however they do still slap against my anatomy during use! CFT makes note on the product listing for Zian that softer firmnesses have a “delightful swing” to them. Even without the swing, using Zian in missionary position, mating press, and other positions where I’m on my back, gave me the sensation I was looking for. 

I tend to gravitate towards semi-realistic shapes when it comes to dildos, or at least shapes that aren’t very textured. In comparing Zian to the most recent uncut realistic dildo I reviewed, El Rey by Mr Hankey’s Toys, Zian has considerably less texture. There are minimal skin lines, just a few close to the tip and close to the base of the shaft. Zian is also shorter and doesn’t have that “thicker in the middle” shaft design. 

Taking Zian was really comfortable and really easy. The rounded tip was very easy to insert, and the medium firmness makes it feel close to the “natural hardness.” With firmer toys, sometimes the rigid feeling makes me tap out a bit sooner than I’d like, but the 00-50 silicone felt really great and it’s nice & squishy.  

Harness wise, Zian is a little bit complicated compared to some other toys I’ve reviewed. Because the balls are separate from the base, the base isn’t ideal for strap-on. However, you can use an o-ring above the balls on the shaft! The only issue I ran into was that panty style harnesses, like RodeoH, aren’t good if you want that feeling of balls slapping against your anatomy, as the balls need to sit inside the o-ring and the panty. 

Harnesses that have a panel that sits between the dildo and the anatomy also aren’t great (though this likely depends on the harness). My go-to harness is the CalExotics Her Royal Harness Regal Duchess, which does not have that panel. The other CalExotics Her Royal Harness options have a panel that is not compatible with the base and balls on Zian! The straps that connect the o-ring to the harness are not adjustable, and while there is some movement, they’re only about an inch long so they’re not long enough to accommodate thick bases. 

When speaking about the harness compatibility, I strapped up with Zian in a couple different harnesses to see how they looked and felt. I did not get a chance to actually use Zian while strap-on topping, though. 

I finally got to try Zian on my wife, Cassie! She enjoyed the balls slapping against her, the shape and the firmness, but prefers more textured toys for better anal stimulation. Hand-pumping the toy into Cassie ended up being less than ideal, as the balls did make gripping the toy more difficult. Using the testicles as my hold point, it was still a challenge for me to find a comfortable position that was also at the right angles for Cassie.

Final Thoughts on Zian

To be honest, it was really difficult to not include my bias in this review. Between my excitement for the collaboration pour and my seeking out a toy with floppy, hanging balls, I’ve got strong positive feelings toward Zian and Creature Feature Toys. Obviously, I love the MTO pour, and I hope others do too!  

Zian is “The Oracle” and is a pretty “normal” model in that it’s a humanoid design and semi-realistic. I think it’s a really approachable design for those who want to support indie fantasy toy makers but prefer realistic shapes. It’s also great for those who want a unique semi-realistic dildo!
