Mooooo! It’s time for a blueberry milk Kose over here, thanks to Creature Feature Toys and their Colorful Cows made-to-order (MTO) monthly special they were running a few months ago. The monthly special featured 9 different color options that buyers could select any model to have made special for them, and I was obsessed with half of the colorations. I had in mind that I was going to buy one for myself because I deserved a little treat!
But I lost track of time and then the month ended, and I hadn’t ordered myself a cute, colorful cow print dildo. Oops! So I reached out to them to see if I could still buy one, and that’s how I ended up having a Sydney Screams themed MTO in July this year. Long story short, in our communications, CFT offered to send me a Colorful Cow in exchange for a review too.
Since I talked a bit about CFT in my review of Zian and the announcement of the MTO collaboration I was doing with them, I won’t go deep on the company in this review. Just know that all of the toys from Creature Feature Toys are all made with body-safe silicone & pigments in the USA. They do both custom orders and inventory drops, and the best way to see what they have going on is by following them on social media or signing up for their newsletter (they only send out newsletters about once a month).
Meet Kose the Reindeer
If you’re looking for girth with a little bit of texture, look no further than Creature Feature Toys’ Kose. This thick dick features a flared blunt tip with some shaft texture towards the tip, a medial ring, and a tapered shaft that leads down to a set of testicles. The shaft texture is on the underside of the shaft, just below the tip, providing great g-spot or p-spot stimulation. There is also a bit of subtle vein texture just above and just below the medial ring. I didn’t realize it when requesting Kose for the Colorful Cows pour, but the model actually features a heart-shaped head. How cute!
Kose is available in 4 different sizes, small-extra large, though the listing on CFT’s site does indicate that a mini size is coming soon. I got a size medium, in medium 00-50 firmness, with the Blueberry Colorful Cows coloration. Here are the dimensions for the medium size:

Care Instructions for CFT’s Kose
It is really important to take proper care of your sex toys, and Kose by Creature Feature Toys is no different. CFT recommends always washing their toys before and after each use, and they specifically recommend Seventh Generation Free & Clear dish soap since it is fragrance & dye free. No special toy cleaner needed, unless you want one, but any unscented anti-bacterial soap that is free of silicone will work. The texture is minimal enough that you won’t need a soft toothbrush to clean Kose, instead you can just use the tip of your finger to work between all of the grooves.
For a deeper clean, you can run Kose through the dishwasher on the top shelf, using a sanitize setting without detergent, or you can also soak your toy in a 10:1 water:bleach mixture for about 10 minutes before washing thoroughly with soap and water. The final option for a deeper clean is to boil your dildo for 5-10 minutes in clean water, making sure that the toy does not rest on the bottom or sides of the pot while boiling.
When it comes to lube, CFT only recommends using water-based lubricants with their toys. You can use a condom on their toys, as long as the condom is not lubricated with a silicone lube.
Storage is another part of proper care for your toys! After you’ve cleaned your dildo and allowed it to fully dry, you can store the toy in a plastic bag, a cloth storage bag, or on a shelf that does not get direct sunlight. It’s ok if your platinum-cure silicone toys touch each other, but I recently learned that you shouldn’t have soft firmness toys touching hard firmness toys. You also should not have toys touching if you’re unsure if they’re made with actual silicone or a silicone blend. Don’t let your silicone toys remain touching PVC, TPE, jelly, etc toys.
How to Use Kose
Blunt tip toys can be a bit of a challenge if you’re not used to them. Kose is the largest of the blunt tip toys in my collection that I’ve successfully taken, and it’s not quite as easy or as comfortable to take the angled blunt tip as Equiknot, but there’s also a really drastic difference in size between the two. A large, girthy toy like Kose needs some warming up first, in my opinion.
First step: warm up and stretch. Whether that’s using a plug or using a slightly smaller toy or using fingers first, is completely up to you. Personally, I like a combination of both. I’ll have a pussy plug inserted for a while before actual play time starts, then I’ll use a toy that is close in dimensions but smaller. For the medium Kose, I opted to use the medium Shadow Demon to help stretch me out first.
Second: grab your lube and hold Kose at an angle so that the bottom point of the heart shaped head is the first part to enter you, and gently apply pressure. Go as fast or slow as you need to, though I personally recommend starting slowly if you’ve never taken a blunt tip toy before. Once you’ve started inserting, the rest will follow but it can be a very abrupt entrance. I’ve only taken Kose vaginally, and no matter how many times I tried, after I started inserting it and the rest of the head followed, it was always a bit of a shock.
Third: give yourself a moment, or longer, to get accustomed to the shape and girth. Blunt tip toys feel a bit different than a rounded or tapered tip toy, as the head feels more punchy when it hits your inner walls.
My Experiences with Creature Feature Toys Kose
Holy moly, the medium Kose is big! Another case of my eyes are too big for my pussy, but not so big that I didn’t actually use the dildo. As I mentioned above, I did have to do quite a bit of stretching to be able to take Kose. My medium Shadow Demon from Wandering Bard Toys is the closest in dimensions to Kose, so it was the perfect toy to help me stretch open. I’d warm up, insert Shadow Demon so that the thickest part of the toy was essentially holding me open, and let it sit as I stimulated my clitoris with a vibrator.
Once I’d achieved orgasm, or when I felt ready enough, I pulled Shadow Demon out and started to slowly insert Kose. Honestly, as thick as the medium Kose is, paired with the blunt tip & my grip issues & big belly/short arms combo, Kose was a challenge to insert on my own. I did get there, but it took time. Once inserted, I let the feeling of fullness guide me for whether I wanted to thrust or not. More often than not, I would keep Kose still while using a vibrator externally.
However, I also had Cassie use the dildo on me, and she did quite a bit of thrusting with the toy. Thrusting was really, really intense, even though I wasn’t able to take the entire insertable length. That blunt tip hitting my vaginal walls was very punchy, and I couldn’t take much of it. Short, slow strokes were all I could take comfortably and pleasurably.
Whether I was using Kose during solo or partner play, the texture on Kose felt incredible. The flared heart shape tip was a caress each time it moved, and the texture on the underside of the shaft felt divine. I was able to achieve orgasm using Kose each time, as long as my clitoris was also stimulated at the same time. Without the simultaneous external stimulation, Kose was just a bit too big and a bit too much for me to thrust enough to achieve orgasm. But damn, it felt good to try!
When I used Kose on Cassie, I was able to use it for both hand pumping into her as well as in a strap-on harness. The medium Kose’s girth was too big for any of my RodeoH harnesses, but it fit perfectly into my new Ouch! harness that has an adjustable o-ring and with a 2.5″ o-ring in my go-to CalExotics harness. I also found the base of Kose very comfortable to hold when I was hand pumping it into my wife’s butt. Certain angles were a bit more comfortable than others, but holding it didn’t cramp my hand or send bad tingles up arm from the nerve damage I have. The most challenging part for me when hand pumping it into Cassie, was the insertion. The blunt tip takes a bit more pressure to insert anally, and the angle really made it a challenge for me to do so. Ultimately, Cass had to insert it for me then pass the reins over to me for the rest.
If you don’t know, my wife is the anal size queen in our house. Since we’ve moved to the Netherlands, she’s preferred using shorter toys since cleaning out is not nearly as easy here, due to the type of drain in our shower and the lack of a bidet on our toilet. Final Thoughts on CFT’s Kose
Although the medium Kose was a bit much for me to take regularly, I’m glad that Kose has still gotten quite a bit of use in our house since its arrival. Creature Feature Toys did an excellent job with the design of the toy itself, and the Colorful Cows MTO graphic that they made really solidified that I wanted this specific model with this specific pour. The two just lended themselves to looking so dang cute together!
Overall, I like Kose. My trans wife likes Kose. Kose is a good toy, especially if you want some girth with your blunt tipped toy. I strongly recommend paying close attention to the size chart and measuring what you already have & can comfortably take before ordering a Kose of your own.
