My, oh my! Oh My Gem, to be precise! I’ve talked about Blush’s line of precious gem themed vibrators before, and now it’s time to review another one from the collection: Ardor, an aquamarine vibrator.

Despite getting the sales pitch from Blush’s sales team on the Oh My Gem line a couple years ago at a pleasure product trade show, it’s only today, in this year 2026, that I’ve realized that the line is themed after monthly birth stones and crystals. I never put two and two together, but now that I have, I think it’s a really fun theme, though there are now more than 12 vibrators in the Oh My Gem line-up. Blush has added 4 butt plugs and 3 bullet vibrators to the Oh My Gem lineup, since it originally launched. The butt plugs are actually pretty cute too.

Let’s Talk About Blush Ardor Vibrator

Like the other vibrators in the Oh My Gem line by Blush, Ardor is made with platinum cure silicone and ABS plastic. It boasts 10 vibration modes, made with Blush’s own RumboTech™technology that promises deep, rumbly vibrations. It’s also a warming vibrator that heats up to 107F / 41.67C and is rechargeable and waterproof submersible, with an IPX7 rating. It comes with a magnetic charging cord and a velvet, drawstring storage bag.

The petite vibrator measures 5.5″ in total length, with 4″ insertable and 1″ width. It has a tapered tip, designed for easy insertion. To me, the tip is reminiscent of a dolphin’s head, and I have to chuckle since my first ever vibrator was also dolphin shaped. Just below the tip is a slight swell on one side that then “flattens” down to a symmetrical width the rest of the shaft. At the base is a fake gem handle, which unscrews to reveal the magnetic charging port.

Please note that if you need or want the user manual, you will need to scan the QR code on the side of the box to view it on your phone. Blush does not include user manuals in packaging anymore, it seems.

Caring For & Charging Blush Ardor Warming Vibrator

Since Ardor from the Oh My Gem line has an IPX7 rating, it can be fully submerged underwater for up to 30 minutes at a ~3ft depth. That makes cleaning the vibrator really easy! Grab an unscented, anti-bacterial soap and give the vibrator a good rub down with some warm water, then allow it to fully dry before storing or charging it. You can also use toy cleaning wipes or a specialty toy cleaner, but your basic soap and water are also all that’s really needed.

There is a motor in Ardor, so you should not boil the device, nor run it through the dishwasher, but you can give it a short soak in a bleach/water mixture using 1 part bleach and 10 parts water.

When it comes time to charge Ardor, the base of the vibrator unscrews. Unscrew the handle by turning counterclockwise, then use the included charging cord to plug the USB end into a charging block or USB port and the other end connects to the device itself. There will be a flashing light that indicates the vibrator is charging, which will glow steady once charging is complete. Charging should take about 90 minutes, which provides a 45 minute runtime. To reattach the base, you’ll need to align the pins in the removable part to the openings on the vibrator, and push down gently while turning clockwise. The cap should be flush against the vibrator base. If it’s not flush, try again until it is.

How to Use Blush Oh My Gem Ardor Vibrator

After you’ve fully charged Blush’s Oh My Gem Ardor vibrator and given it a good rinse, it’s time to have some fun! Grab your favorite water based lubricant and add some to the device, then press the device against your anatomy or insert into yourself, and press & hold the gem on the base of the handle for 2 seconds. A short buzz will alert you that the device is tuned on and ready for play. Simply press the gem again, quickly this time, and the vibrators will start. Press the button again to go through the vibration modes. Once you’re done, press and hold the gem button for 2 seconds to power the vibrator down. The device will buzz again to let you know it is powered off.

The heating function does not automatically turn on during use. If you’d like to use the heating function, do a double click of the button, which will activate the heating element. You can turn the heating function on before the vibrations start! I timed it at about 1.5 minutes before I started to feel the heat with another 20-ish seconds before it felt at full heat. The heat kicked in faster when the vibrations were turned on. After letting the vibrator cool down for several minutes at room temperature (20.5C), I timed it at 45 seconds to start feeling the heat, with full temperature going steady around the 1m20s mark.

My Experiences with Blush Ardor Small Vibrator

I was given this vibrator at a trade show a couple years back, and honestly just didn’t open the box until after the other vibrator from the same line stopped holding charge. Ardor made the trek across the Atlantic Ocean with me, still in box. Classy lived a decently long life, though I don’t remember exactly how long. I didn’t use the petite vibrator as often as I have Ardor. Until I experienced winter, I didn’t use the heating function on Classy, but then when I had my first Dutch winter, it felt extra pleasurable and indulgent. I reached for Classy a lot on cold days… a lot more than I ever reached for the vibrator while living in Las Vegas.

Now that I’m on my second winter here in The Netherlands, having another vibrator that heats up is really helpful. In fact, it’s reminded me how much I appreciate Blush’s other warming vibrators too, like Quinn and Simone. Using Ardor often acted as a warm up act before using one of those vibrators during longer masturbation sessions (pun intended). The device was also great before taking larger toys. The warming feature helped me comfortably bypass a step in stretching, allowing me to take a thicker toy easier and faster. Not only did it literally warm me up, but it also helped me achieve orgasm.

The shape of the tip was delicious combo for me. I loved the pin-point stimulation of the tapered tip on my clitoris, and the swell just below the tip was really nice pushed against my g-spot. I really enjoyed sliding it between the two, pausing to achieve orgasm before switching from on to another. As someone who prefers pin-point clitoral stimulation, I rarely get to do this with any other vibrator in my collection. Sure, I do use some g-spot vibrators externally before sliding them inside, but frankly, once they’re inserted, I rarely pull them back out because I just add another clit vibrator to the mix. I just like the tapered tip on Ardor a bit more, since it’s got a smaller contact surface.

I really just enjoyed both surfaces that much! Going back and forth like that was just fun. It kept me on my toes in the best way and I didn’t want to stop.

Until the battery would run out of charge and I had to swap it out for a different toy or two. Which happened much faster after I accidentally dropped the vibrator on my laminate floor one night and again on the tile in my bathroom another time. I’m a little clumsy sometimes! I have had smaller vibrators die after just one drop on the floor, so I’m a bit surprised that Ardor is still working at all. I don’t think the vibrator will live through another fall on hard flooring though.

As far as the rumbly vibrations, I found that the lowest 3 steady speeds felt the most rumbly, while the 4th and 5th steady speeds became more buzzy. The last one feeling the most buzzy. The vibration modes that followed weren’t all bad or boring. I ended up enjoying the 2nd and 5th steady “tapping” patterns the most, specifically when the vibrator was inside me. I don’t really care for most patterns or non-steady modes, but there are exceptions every once in a while. Blush’s Ardor vibrator was one of them!

Because Ardor doesn’t have a long total length, I didn’t do a lot of thrusting with the small vibrator, despite the switching between internal and external use. It was most comfortable for me to have continuous hold of Ardor if I had my back propped up on a pillow or two, though gripping something that small does not feel the best on my hands, due to nerve damage. Often, though, I’m lying flat on my back, which did make the device more difficult to continuously hold, thanks to my short arms & big belly.

Noise wise, I found it odd that Blush’s website didn’t mention the noise level. I feel like that’s often a selling point for vibrators, so I was bracing for a loud sex toy. Thankfully, Ardor isn’t a loud vibrator, but it’s not silent. Having a thick blanket over it helped dampen the noise so it couldn’t be heard outside of the room, even with the door open. I don’t have means of measuring this, but I think that it got louder the higher the vibration intensity.

I don’t talk about charger types often, but I have to for this one. It’s something I should mention more regularly. I really dislike magnetic chargers. Sure, they allow for some toys to have a higher IPX waterproof rating, but the magnets never seem stabile or strong enough even with two contact points. Blush’s Magna Charge is worse! It only has one contact point. I feel like I have to babysit the charging process for a couple minutes and be very careful not to disturb the cord at all, lest the connection sever.

Reattaching the cover for the charging port is also kind of annoying. You have to have it lined up just so, or else it won’t connect properly. And it’s not just 2 pins that have to align, there’s a 3rd one, further past the bottom two pins that have to align with the right spots on the device. It’s even worse when trying to do this in low lighting.

There is a seam in the silicone that runs along the length up and down on it. It is visible and I can feel it with my fingers, but that’s it. I did not notice the seam during use, though some people may be more sensitive than I am.

Grievances aside, the Blush Oh My Gem Ardor vibrator is pretty darn good. I appreciate the intensity of the vibrations, even at the lowest setting. I can use the vibrator in different ways and still achieve orgasm (I am someone who can orgasm from penetration alone, but I prefer both clitoral stimulation and penetration simultaneously). It’s not too loud. It is rechargeable, even with a childproof style lock that I found irritating.

Pros:

  • Petite size is discreet
  • Made with body-safe silicone
  • Waterproof submersible
  • Rechargeable
  • Comes with a storage bag
  • Quiet
  • Heating feature is really nice

Cons:

  • Estimated run time is only 45 minutes
  • Getting the cover screwed back on can sometimes be a challenge
  • I think Blush’s Magna Chargers are my least favorite magnetic charging type

My Final Thoughts on Blush Ardor Vibrator

Blush’s Oh My Gem Ardor vibrator was a fun vibrator for me to test out during this winter season, when I could really appreciate the warming feature. For me, Ardor makes for a perfect vibrator for preparing my body for more. I love that I can enjoy either pin-point clitoral stimulation or g-spot stimulation from the swell of the device. It’s not the perfect vibrator, but it’s pretty darn good.

I’d recommend Ardor from Oh My Gem by Blush to people of all experience levels. The tapered shape is approachable and allows for really easy and comfortable insertion. The intensity of the rumbly vibrations are maybe a bit more powerful for those who don’t like pin-point stimulation, but there are plenty of wider contact surfaces on the device that can work just as well.

I was gifted the Oh My Gem by Blush Ardor vibrator at a b2b pleasure product trade show I attended as a Buyer. I do have an on-going affiliate relationship with Blush, though I did not let that influence my review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!
