I hadn’t really planned on attending the AVN Expo, even though I’m a local to Las Vegas. My plan was primarily to go and hang out at the bar after the expo closed so I could see friends. I didn’t really feel like paying to attend somewhere that wasn’t really my market, ya know? But so many of my friends were attending that I didn’t just want to completely skip out on the opportunity to see them.

Well. That all got shot to shit. Thanks to Whitney Morgan I got a pass to attend and I am so glad I let her peer pressure me into attending. I haven’t been to a porn expo since that time I went to Exxxotica Miami a few years ago and honestly, I forgot how fun they are but also how great they are for networking. Exxxotica was a little different because I had a booth with some other ladies, so I was primarily meeting fans or other sex workers that would come stop by the booth. AVN’s was different because I was the one going around and stopping at booths to meet people! It was really cool because I got to see all these beautiful people, some of whom I’d never met in person before. Getting to meet new people is sometimes really hard for me because I tend to be a little shy, but I met so many awesome people!!! Buck Angel, Kelly Shibari, Cadence Lux, Ramona Flour, Andrea Dipre (who I shot a ball busting video with!), Sophia Rose… the list could go on! Seeing friends I haven’t seen in a while was the best part though. It’s cool when people gather in one place from literally all over the country.

Porn Legend Rodney Moore!

One of those awesome people was porn legend Rodney Moore, who I’d spoken with a couple times via email. I saw him and went right up to introduce myself. He ended up having a cancellation on Saturday morning, so he got in touch with me and we ended up shooting for his Daddy Likes ’em Fatty series.

The whole weekend was just an absolute blast. Well… the whole 10 days is a bit more accurate, thanks to visitors and fun activities before and after the expo itself.
